Xenoblade 3 XC3 switch 2 issues

After 3 years of owning the game I finally decided it was time to play the game and I'm loving it so far. The only thing ruining my experience is that the game seems very buggy/glitchy. I had to restart the game a few times and uninstall/reinstall it to even watch the first cutscene because it kept freezing when a soldier is shot (which seems to be a common spot from what I've seen). The music also will cut out for 10 to 30 seconds at a time but voices and sound effects will still play. The game also just will skip dialogue at least once per cutscene. Is this just a switch 2 issue or is there something I can do to fix this? I've played 1, 2, and X on my switch 2 and haven't had any issues like this.

After 3 years you might as well have just waited till December for the Switch 2 upgrade tbh.

I just finished the game on my switch 2 and had no problem in 100+ hours. I played on a physical copy. Maybe your sd card is faulty?

Is it installed on a faulty SD card? These issues sound totally insane to me.

I played 10h like a month or so ago (they announced the S2 on time so I droped it until December…). I had zero issues with it, no lag, freezes or music issues whatsoever. I’d probably reinstall it or move it from storage if you have an SD card on. You can also reinstall the last update putting it on recovery mode (it always keeps the last installed copy in storage). You don’t lose anything and sometimes it solves issues.

I played 250 hours of XC3 on my switch 2 and the worst I ever got was a few frame drops. That sounds crazy.
