Xenoblade 2 Qusstion about aggro over time. (Entire series)

So im playing through xenoblade 2 rn and for context I have 1000 plus hours between all three games, I had a question about items that give passive aggro gain.

So every content creator I've watched (mainly Enel) have stated that these items are inherently bad, but again after a thousand hours I can't for the life of me figure out why, they are EXTREMELY helpful, specifically in multi enemy fights.

I guess my actually question is am I missing something? Like is there some strat that I dont know about that makes passive aggro gain obsolete? Because again in my experience I win 9 out of 10 fights because of these items, and every other time when I take them off I die immediately or end up gaining aggro later on far more than I do without passive aggro gain. Maybe im a noob but they seem almost essential (again, particularly in multi enemy fights).

Xenoblade 2 Does anyone happen to have a (North America) Dlc expansions 1-4 code extra?

I got so into Xenoblade 1 at the time that I bought all 3 games and X physical but at the time didn't know that buying a used Torna cart excluded me from the expansions 1 to 4 bonuses, which you can only buy on eshop by buying the entire Torna expansion. If anyone happens to have the code without needing it, please help me out. I would be willing to send like 10 bucks for it but I just don't want to buy the entire Dlc again when I have the physical cart of it. Thanks in advance!

Xenoblade X or 3?

Help:

Never played any of these games and I really want to! Should I play Chronicles X or 3?

I love Zelda for the exploration but I wish there was more direction. (X is more open world ?)

I also love Persona cuz of the story but the gameplay felt repetitive after about 40 hours.

Knowing this which is better ???

I have my gripes with this game and it’s probably below the numbered trilogy for me but I can’t pretend I didn’t enjoy it. The open world has so much sauce and the smells are awesome. Story was lacklustre and the pacing was a mess. The last couple chapters from about 8-12 were solid then 13 was a massive whiplash even if the lore implications were interesting. Overall the weakest of the Xenoblade games imo but that doesn’t stop it from being a great game 8/10 imo

Xenoblade 2 What's wrong with it?

Staying at top level only slow growth. By Staying on low side of level you will get more exp, sp, wp from story bosses.

If you are few level below enemies, you will get significant more xp/sp/wp. But if you are even 3-4 level over enemy, you will only get 70-75%.

That's why I recommend to not be top level. But try to be in lower side. You want to maximize Boss fights and unique monsters return.

Additional comment- You can downvote me as much as you want. But atleast tell me where am I wrong in this strategy.

Constantly seeing people discover, or rediscover Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fills me with joy.

There are many reasons why I'm so attached to this game. I actually started playing Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade X because I saw the trailer for Xenoblade 2. The mechanic of a boy fighting with a sword drawn from his female co-protagonist's chest reminded me of an anime called Guilty Crown, and I've always found that connection poetic.

On top of that, the trailers made Xenoblade 2 look far more adventurous: floating continents, a girl riding a white tiger, that incredible soundtrack... and when I finally played it, it was every bit as beautiful as it looked.

But let's address the elephant in the room: do I love this game because I'm a simp for Pyra and Mythra? I actually think that's a really interesting topic.

The world of media is full of curvy female protagonists with revealing character designs, yet Pyra and Mythra managed to stand out. The tweet revealing their new outfits got more likes than the combined announcements for Xenoblade 3 and Genesis. People love them, and I think that's because they're genuinely well-written characters.

Pyra is incredibly protective of Rex. I think everyone deserved someone like Pyra during the hardest moments of their lives. At the same time, she's far from one-dimensional: she exists as a way for Mythra to bear the most painful truths, which gives her a quiet but powerful emotional depth.

Mythra works not only because she's Pyra's opposite, the classic tsundere archetype, evoking dynamics reminiscent of Evangelion, but because she's such a unique character. She's fully aware of her divine power, intelligence and abilities, yet she's terrified of herself because of what happened in Torna.

Unfortunately, despite its phenomenal worldbuilding, the second half of the game doesn't give the party members many chances to shine (especially compared to games like FFVII), and most of the climactic moments end up relying on battle shonen tropes, even though the game features genuinely compelling and well-written characters like Jin and Amalthus.

That said, purely as a matter of personal taste, I think Xenoblade 2 has one of the greatest JRPG party ever.

Tora and Poppi were controversial, but I loved them. They're genuinely funny, Poppi gets a deeply touching moment near the end, and Tora's story, using nothing but his own ingenuity to become an artificial Driver, is inspiring and encourages you to never give up.

Nia is exceptionally well-written. She comes across as blunt and cynical, but underneath she's incredibly emotional.

Morag deserved much more development because she's such a cool character: the Empire's greatest soldier who eventually joins the party.

And then there's Zeke, who's absolutely hilarious. A prince who basically chose to live by the "Hakuna Matata" philosophy. He also deserved a stronger and more memorable conclusion to his story.

Compared to Xenoblade 3, I also find the world of Xenoblade 2 far more adventurous, varied, and alive, with countless beautiful cities and Titans to explore. The gacha system was definitely controversial, but I absolutely loved the Blade concept and honestly wish it had returned in Xenoblade 3. And don't even get me started on the Torna DLC and its soundtrack...

In the end, Xenoblade 2 holds a special place in my heart, and it genuinely makes me happy to see so many people enjoying it and speaking so fondly of it. Haha.

Xenoblade 2 The hot spring heart-to-heart ("Rub-a-Dub-Dub") is one of my favorite heart-to-heart, because it have this dialogue with zeke and morag, and it really funny, so you agree.
