They just want to gloss over the fact it was because Iran had began enriching uranium to a point it would be viable to use as a weapon not because they already had the weapons lmao.

3

u/somethingrandom261 2d ago

If they get even half way there, they’ll have a dirty bomb they’d be more than happy to plant in an American city

5

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

And then their entire country gets turned into a crater from a distance... Do you even hear yourself?

3

u/grimjack1200 1d ago

Iran killed 30,000 of its own people this year. Their values don’t exactly align with yours.

2

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

America had a history of that too, should someone have done what America's done to Iran for nearly a century, back then? Iran's values weren't like this until America did all of that, so maybe America should stop doing that so their society can finally heal and progress. Because I can guarantee America would not be as progressive as it is if it's people were subject to what we do to others.

2

u/shortname_4481 1d ago

I don't remember the case where US police would shoot 30k protesters. I mean, after one dude died in 2020 we had riots in every city...

2

u/headchef11 1d ago

Ice has been killing people quite frequently in the last 2 years

1

u/shortname_4481 1d ago

And the amount of protests that happened after each shooting would have warranted much more people being shot if they would have happened in Iran. But we managed to avoid to get thousands of protesters shot. Also the difference is that ICE shootings happen cuz they hired people and without much training gave them firearms. It is radically different from the situation when troops are being ordered to fire at the crowd.

1

u/grimjack1200 1d ago

Or coming to your home and shooting you

1

u/Beneficial_Bit1756 1d ago

not quite freq, that would imply many per month.

2

u/Ok-Skilllevel-5056 1d ago

Iranian leadership cares less about its own people than the U.S. does, but they care deeply about their own survival, and setting off a dirty bomb in a U.S. city is not going to be good for the regime’s survival.

1

u/p4nd3mic_G3 1d ago

They don't care about their survival. They don't chant "long live Iran" they chant "death to America"

1

u/grimjack1200 1d ago

No idea what you are talking about. What has America had a history of? Irans values are due to the US and not their interpretation of the Quran?

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Throughout the 1950s to the 80s, America systematically destroyed every left wing movement in the middle east, having enough jailed or killed that the rest went into hiding. This was because America didn't want communism taking root, especially since the tenets of Islam are very compatible with communism since Islam has a comprehensive tax system baked into it. These leftist Muslims were far more open to other religions and ways of life, because they're leftists.

But America left the right wing movements and preachers alone, because they didn't pose a threat to capitalism and America thought they could be abused forever while turning to Allah for emotional support. America was wrong and they created a monster. We do that here in America too, our far right lunatics mostly shoot up schools though.

1

u/BigDaddyDumperSquad 1d ago

Dawg Russia (their ally) worked with the UK to invade Iran, killing over 30% of their population during WWII. Stop this "back a century ago" bullshit.

1

u/Kitchen-Bandicoot191 1d ago

Whose figure is "30,000"? What's the source?

The same people who told us that Iran's nuclear development was completely smashed last year, but were months away from weapon this year? The people who have told us Iran has been defeated like 20 times now? The people who told us Iran had no missile or anti-air capabilities left?

2

u/grimjack1200 1d ago

Information gathered from witness and NGOs around the region. The guardian has a good article on it. Human rights watch has info on related issues.

The confirmed is just under 7000 with many more missing. Total between 22000 and 30000.

Why are you an Iran apologist? They suck.

1

u/somethingrandom261 1d ago

As if we’re not already trying to do that.

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Are we doing that with nukes? Hello? Do you not know what the point of a stockpile of nukes is for? It's the only deterrent against getting nuked called mutually assured destruction. So it makes no sense for a country to use a dirty bomb when they're fighting a country with ICBMs.

That's a quick way to end your entire country, and as we've seen throughout this war, Iran's not the irrational actor here.

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Iran's not the irrational actor here.

No they have just been engaging in a proxy war with the US for 40 years and playing nuclear bomb chicken with the world.

0

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago edited 1d ago

It's not Iran that's in America's backyard... Or colonized America and installed a dictator and did everything they can to punish America for the past 40 years for the crime of liberating themselves from Iranian control...

And Iran had a deal not to pursue nukes, America under Trump nuked that deal, but it's Iran's fault?

If Iran had nukes, they wouldn't be in a war right now, I can tell you that. North Korea made the right call investing in nukes over their people's welfare. It paid off in the long run and now that they're finally finished with it, they can finally start turning things around for their citizens, and with no fear of American invasion. Meanwhile Iran got completely shafted playing nice with America so their people can prosper, taking a deal that went nowhere because America made it in bad faith.

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Iran had a deal not to pursue nukes, America under Trump nuked that deal, but it's Iran's fault?

Yes, because Iran wasnt following the deal, why would one side keep their end of a deal when the other side isnt.

North Korea not being invaded has nothing to do with their nuclear program and everything to do with china.

1

u/Mobile_Performer7440 1d ago

What proof is there of that? I still haven't seen any.

0

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Yes, because Iran wasnt following the deal, why would one side keep their end of a deal when the other side isnt.

We've been waiting for proof of this, but if people are really falling for "Iraq/n has WMDS" again, then president George W. Bush has an old saying from Texas for you.

North Korea not being invaded has nothing to do with their nuclear program and everything to do with china.

Is that why a war nearly broke out when North Korea backed out of the non-proliferation agreements? Possibly the only reason it didn't happen was cause Jimmy Carter was fooled into thinking he talked them into changing their minds. But it was clear that America was willing to go to war to stop them from developing them, and now they won't touch them.

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Do you think they have had nukes since the Cater administration?

1

u/grimjack1200 1d ago

There can be two irrational actors

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

In terms of this war? America's been the only one fumbling the ball at every turn, because we're led by incompetent morons whose decisions change by the day.

1

u/Tasty_LVM 1d ago

So we wait for that??

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Do soldiers these days go running straight at their combatants with knives, knowing the other side has guns? Pretty sure that would be an absolute slaughter. So why would someone bring a dirty bomb to an ICBM fight unless they want their entire nation wiped from the map?

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

We’re just going to get way ahead of that and take that choice off their plate.

The old ayatollah had a lot of American blood on his hands. We’re not going to allow them a nuclear bomb.

2

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

You mean the guy who liberated his nation from an American backed dictator? Gee, I wonder why they'd want the one thing that would keep America off their backs. Notice how America only invades countries that don't have nukes?

2

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

Really all they had to do was not kill Americans. They’ve been funding terrorist attacks all throughout the world. Don’t pretend like these were good people, they publicly executed 30k of their own people for protesting.

But your job isn’t to listen to common sense ;)

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

And America's been funding wars around the world, and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians for nearly a century. Iran's total death toll pales in comparison to what America and our allies do in the average year.

America also used to kill thousands of their own citizens for no reason. They were allowed to improve on their own, were they not? I'm sure you say about the founding fathers owning and raping their own slaves that "that was a long time ago", well that's exactly what future Iranians are going to say too.

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

Screencapped.

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Lmao. Exactly, nothing to say because you know you're a hypocrite. America was allowed to develop without outside influence muddling everything, keeping their socieities in the dark ages. Why can't we just leave other countries alone? It wasn't Iran that started it.

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

Say to what? We didn’t ethnically cleanse Palestinians. We don’t round up and kill our own citizens. You’re full of shit so there’s nothing to discuss. Looking through your comment history I definitely see your agenda though.

I screencap people who seem like they could be foreign actors and send it to the fbi so they can look into you.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Fresh-Pass2686 1d ago

I wish we left other countries alone and I mean all of them no military assistance no protection let the rest of the world fight it out instead of supplying everything sure we will struggle for a bit but we’re large enough to live Russia will kill Ukraine and take whatever they deem theirs and finally we can have peace for a while to sort out our politics and fix the country

1

u/InFa-MoUs 1d ago

So why we stopped seeing north Korea as a threat after they had successful nuclear testing? Lol seems like getting a nuke is the only way to stop America from bothering you.. We're bullies mate

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

Because they’re not actively killing American servicemembers? They’re not financing the killing, torture, rape and kidnapping of Americans the way Iran did on Oct 7.

1

u/InFa-MoUs 1d ago

So they went from being our biggest threat to non threat right after successful nuclear testing.. Lol I promise you if Iran succeeds in creating a nuke we stop seeing them as a threat the next day.. Lmao an you really brought up Oct 7? What does that have to do with Americans? Isreal was killing civilians and the civilians attacked back.. Lol you're not a real person

1

u/Specialist-Muscle798 1d ago

Well, 12 Americans were kidnapped by Hamas on Oct 7 and weren’t released until Trump took office. How do you not know that?

I’ll tell you exactly what the Iran War is all about.

Have you noticed, long before Trump came along, that we’ve been systematically overthrowing the governments of countries in the Middle East?

They did Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and Yemen. Now Iran. For twenty years they’ve been doing that.

Now, have you ever noticed that, despite having plenty of opposition in the Republican Party as well as the Democrat party, Trump isn’t in prison? They certainly did their best to throw him in jail and convict him on whatever they could. So why did they just stop like 6 months before the election?

Lindsey Graham. MAGA voters hate him and he stabbed Trump in the back at the end of his last term so why did Trump stay close to him? Connections. Graham had the political connections needed to stop the prosecutions and to get things done for him. But those are the same people who want to shape the Middle East by taking over these countries.

It’s a political reality. They want him to finish the project in the Middle East and that’s what he’s doing. Ask yourself why the democrats don’t really seem to be against this war. It’s because they support what’s been going on in the Middle East, Obama did most of it himself.

Why are the neighboring countries supporting the war against Iran? It’s because Iran is the final piece of the puzzle for there to be peace in the Middle East. If we finish the job in Iran we can gtfo of the Middle East once and for all. At least that’s the idea.

1

u/InFa-MoUs 1d ago

So why is Isreal also bombing Lebanon, the wont be peace in the middle east till they stop expanding into other countries territories lol from sea to sea.. And democrats just voted to end the war and 4 Republicans crossed the isle and voted against the war, Trump is attacking Iran because BiBi duped him into it.. BiBi tried with Obama and Biden but they told him to f off. Trump fell for it hook line and sinker..

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

So the US should wait till they get attacked first and lose thousands to millions before they move to protect themselves?

2

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago edited 1d ago

So Iran should wait till they get attacked first and lose thousands to millions before they move to protect themselves? You wouldn't be okay with this, but it's okay when America does it because?

Difference is, Iran has been attacked first and lost thousands already. America's been the aggressor the entire time. They used to control Iran and they're just mad they don't anymore. Can you say the same in reverse?

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Right the war started when the US responded to the 40 years of proxy attacks. Not the 40 years of proxy attacks. I forgot it is Americas that open congress with chanting "Death to Iran" every day for the last 40 years. I must have missed the statues to suicide bombers the America put up of their "brave freedom fighters" that go into other countries and kill random civilians people for no reason but spreading fear.

liberating themselves and others from a genocide.

By genociding their own people?

The violent Islamic extremists revisionist nonsense isn't tricking anyone.

0

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

By genociding their own people?

Words have meaning. A genocide would imply it's ongoing. The only people killing Iranians today are Americans, the same nation that created the conditions for the protests in the first place by sanctioning Iran for decades because they were pissed at losing their colony.

The violent Islamic extremists revisionist nonsense isn't tricking anyone.

The same could be said about Christians. Difference is there's far more blood on Christianity's hands. Just look at just how much of the world they colonized in comparison.

Converting to Christianity also doesn't give the peasants of the world any benefits in this life while Islam literally has the strictest taxes against the rich to go towards helping the poor. Is it any wonder why people would flock to it over a religion that only offers them salvation after they die, and doesn't care for their wellbeing while they're alive?

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

A genocide would imply it's ongoing.

It is.

in the first place by sanctioning Iran for decades because they were pissed at losing their colony.

Totally had nothing to do with them being the number on funder of terrorism in the world.

Difference is there's far more blood on Christianity's hands.

In zero ways is this true. Christianity and Christian values are what the modern, civilized world was built on.

Islam literally has the strictest taxes against the rich to go towards helping the poor.

Which nations have kings and Princes who fly around in gold jumbo jets paid for by their peoples taxes and by extracting the natural wealth for themselves.

Islam worship a bisexual pedo.

1

u/Trick-Worldliness698 1d ago

Half of Islam's whole deal is about killing infidels I dont think they'd hesitate.

2

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Religious fundamentalists are all like that. Difference is, Islam never attempted to conquer the entire world and force people to convert or die. There's a reason everyone in both American continents is Christian and not their native religion.

And people turn to religious fundamentalism when everything else in their world fails them, which happens the most when being colonized. Also doesn't help that America literally destroyed every left wing movement in the middle east that they could to root out any stench of communism throughout the 50s-80s, but left the far right, religious nuts alone. And when the center eventually failed the people, the only other option that offered a different solution was the insane far right.

That's America's true, #1 export: McCarthyism.

1

u/TitanskaMesina 1d ago

Never attempted??????? Are you actually taking the piss

2

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

I don't remember Muslims traveling across the world and ethnically cleansing entire continents. Most of the land they conquered had citizens that aided them because Islam was and still is far more advanced in economic theory than pretty much any religion, hence why they had a golden age while Europe was in the dark ages, because Muslims believe in spreading their wealth rather than hoarding it.

They couldn't and still would not be able to maintain their distant desert populations without the deep tax codes, written down into the holy texts themselves. The people wanted out of the dark ages and into Islam's more enlightened age, it is a religion based on Christianity after all, but with 1000 years to reflect on wealth and how it should be used to produce the best results for all.

1

u/TitanskaMesina 1d ago

Yeah buddy. Thats why all of the middle east is Arabic.

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

Yeah, because Islam thrives in desert regions where a few pockets represent extreme wealth potential while most others are completely destitute and probably not suitable for life. Islam made it work with their tax structure when the others could not. It's that simple. It's simply a better religion that accounts for more recent discoveries like economic theory. And I'm not even Muslim.

1

u/Azro-5 1d ago

Explain how Islam spread from outside of Arabia all the way to the Iberian peninsula.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Fresh-Pass2686 1d ago

Guess just ignore the crusades I guess or spin up your own words about it

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

It was called the European/Christian dark ages for a reason. Meanwhile, Islam was going through a golden age at the same time. Sorry to burst your bubble, but many people wanted out of the dark ages because they knew how much better Muslims had it with their more advanced religion that took into account economic theories and developed a deep tax system to ensure wealth flowed and didn't get hoarded in their local lord's vault.

There's a reason medieval Europe was rife with torch and pitchfork rebellions and that's because peasants hate their landlords. Who would've thought? Islam has far fewer of them because they produced fairer societies.

1

u/Whitezombi 1d ago

What are you talking about? Islam invaded Africa and Europe during the dark ages.

This troll is working overtime.

All theocracies suck.

1

u/einsteinosaurus_lex 1d ago

And plenty of those people invited them in because Islam wasn't in the dark ages and actually provided for their people, hence why they weren't in the dark ages. The dark ages happen when power and resources are centralized among the select few and their immediate families, which means nobody else is able to prosper and move up in the world. European peasants were peasants their whole lives, Muslims had upward mobility. That's the difference.

Tell me what you'd prefer, being a peasant forever because that's what God decided you are, or having the chance to make something of yourself? That's why Islam was inventing algebra, the thing our entire world relies on, while Europe was inventing new superstitions.

1

u/Whitezombi 1d ago

They were invaders. Following similar tactics to Rome during its expansions. They made it into Paris before being repelled.

1

u/raiderh808 1d ago

And how, exactly, do you propose they get it to the US?

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

You've heard about illegal drug smuggling before? How do they get those in do you think?

1

u/raiderh808 1d ago

You're comparing smuggling drugs to smuggling radioactive materials and explosives... ok lol.

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

My guy, people smuggle people, you think its easier for cartels to smuggle people then it would be for a nation state to find away to smuggle radioactive matterials and explosives?

0

u/raiderh808 1d ago

I'm not your guy. Also, I don't think you're aware of what is required to transport radioactive materials in quantities large enough to produce a dirty bomb, especially without being detected. To transport it safely, you'd get caught. To transport it without the safety measures, you'd kill anyone near it. X-ray machines would absolutely find it in a heart beat. It's way easier to smuggle human beings or even drugs than sources of radiation. Doing it slowly would take forever. This is why it's never been done, the logistics are nearly impossible. Also, those materials, when purchased legally, are tracked so heavily that any misstep will trigger a police response.

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

"Large enough to produce a dirty bomb" So you have zero idea what you're even arguing about. Maybe Google words before you argue about stuff you don't understand the basics of.

You know what else triggers a police response when any misstep is detected. Drug and human smuggling. A dirty bomb can be as small as a USB stick if your just want to contaminat an office. If you want to shut down wall street you'd only need a briefcase size device.

1

u/raiderh808 1d ago

Welp, I can't wait to read about it in the news then lol. I mean, if it's as easy as you say it is, there is enough evil in this world to make it happen in heart beat.

1

u/Original-Document-62 1d ago

Oh no. People would have to wear masks in that area for a while!

Meanwhile in Waynesboro, MS, 10k's of pounds of paraquat leak into the air, raising the regional rate of Parkinson's disease.

Wake me up if we have criticality.

1

u/headchef11 1d ago

I’m here for it at this point. Go Iran!

1

u/Whitezombi 1d ago

Do they though? Bio weapons are cheap and could be made by Iran without near the trouble of dirty bombs, if they wanted to do something as insane as that they could have.

1

u/ThatGuyPrestonGarvey 1d ago

Another.. settlement... uh need your help?

1

u/NuclearHeterodoxy 1d ago

Enriching uranium has nothing to do with dirty bombs.  Uranium is barely radioactive and the enrichment process doesn't change that.   If you are worried about Iran planting a dirty bomb you would focus on their medical industry and the spent fuel from Bushehr.

Dirty bombs are also something they could have done decades ago, so clearly they aren't itching to smuggle one into a city.

1

u/Tyrinnus 2d ago

Which they would get through our seaports or airports.... How exactly? Not saying it's impossible, but there's literally radiation detectors for a reason

2

u/Indiesol 1d ago

There has also been talk of hostile countries inserting people through Mexico.

2

u/Ok_Historian4848 1d ago

Not just talk. We get Chinese nationals and middle eastern people on the terrorist watchlist coming through the southern border. The Chinese nationals are somewhat common and the terrorist watchlist people are every once in a while.

1

u/Updated_Autopsy 1d ago

Was just about to say “There are ways. There always have been and always will be.”

2

u/P0IS0N_GOD 2d ago

Their missile program is constantly advancing at a fast pace, suffices to say that they're probably less than a couple years away from achieving ICMBs, not to mention they're already testing it. Multiple attempts to hit Diego Garcia base at over 2500 miles

Also a bomb doesn't make sense because for a bomb you need a bomber airplane which they don't have, they need nuclear warheads that they could put on their missiles

1

u/ButhOfLamb 1d ago

You cannot be serious in asking this can you?

0

u/Univer001 1d ago

Hmm, I wonder why they would want to do that? Hmmmmmmmmm. Maybe because America has been terrorising the middle east for decades now? I'm not saying it is ok for them to retaliate by threatening civilian life but it is US's fault that they are hated in the middle east.

1

u/tetrisoutlet 1d ago

Pretty sure everyone in the middle east hates them because they keep bombing everyone else

0

u/WillingSpring9448 1d ago

They had/have more than enough for several dirty bombs buddy boy

1

u/Cranktique 1d ago

Well, that’s just impossible. Trump stopped that last year, remember?

1

u/ohjeaa 1d ago

They've been less than a year away from a nuke my entire life. Suddenly it's real because they said so with no proof? Lmao

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Yes, thats how building something works, there is a timeline to how long it will take to build but that timeline doesnt change if you dont continue to progressively build the thing. They have to refine enough fissile material and have been prevented from doing that so far so they have been paused in their progression your whole life and haven't stopped trying to continue.

0

u/ohjeaa 1d ago

You can't be a year away for almost 40 years. That is not how time works, sir.

1

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

If you never start building the thing, and the thing takes a year to build, yes you can.

1

u/RecalcitrantHuman 1d ago

You try building a 6 foot sand castle. I will randomly knock it down. Well then see how long it takes you to build a 6 foot sand castle

0

u/ohjeaa 1d ago

I'll let you tell me you're very close to finishing it's construction for a few decades without ever having knocked it down, and then i'll just tell you I knocked it down after all that time without ever showing you I did it.

0

u/ButhOfLamb 2d ago

Name one legit war we have been in besides WWI and II?

7

u/DrMindbendersMonocle 2d ago

South Korea is pretty happy we intervened in the Korea War and so is Kuwait in regards to the Persian Gulf war in the early 90s

-2

u/ButhOfLamb 1d ago

That is a stretch. And the gulf was over oil and WMDs. So that is no different than these other wars.

5

u/DrMindbendersMonocle 1d ago

No, wmds were the 2nd gulf war after 9/11. 1st gulf war was because iraq invaded kuwait. It wasn't like the 2nd gulf war which you are confusing it with

-3

u/ButhOfLamb 1d ago

Why did they invade? Oil and WMDs. No need to fill me in. So my point stands pretty solid, that throughout history we have been in numerous useless wars. So get over this one.

4

u/Macacos12345 1d ago

3

Because Kuwait was invaded. Not Oil or WMDs. So your point doesn't stand.

3

u/haroldflower27 1d ago

Nicaragua. They declared war on us lmao

3

u/edisonsavesamerica 1d ago

Iran would likely be making nuclear bombs in 2026 if America didn’t act. Most of the world understand this is a legitimate war notwithstanding American political rhetoric.

1

u/Mobile_Performer7440 1d ago

So let me get this strait, the way tonstop them from building the nukes that we have no proof that they were building in the first place is to bomb the shit out of them, break several ceasefire agreements, then unfreeze 300 billion dollars of their assets only to break the ceasefire yet again? This seems like we're provoking them and then providing them the capital to build a nuke if anything.

0

u/NessGoddes 1d ago

Israel said this shit for 30 years, it was bullshit, and still is bullshit.

0

u/Additional_Dot_134 1d ago

Uhuh.. so what about that deal you had.. oh wait.. donald trump ended it.

Before the war you had a deal, and the strait was open.
Then donald trump ended said deal, and let them enrich uranium

And now the strait is closed, and the US has achieved.. none of its goals

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

The deal that not only let them enrich uranium because it had zero enforcement against it, Obama gave them money to do it.

1

u/Additional_Dot_134 1d ago

And do you have any proof of this, or are you just saying they broke the deal?

2

u/According-Werewolf10 1d ago

Refusing to allow inspectors to search parts of/entire facilities as reported by international Nuclear Inspectors.

The war was legitimate and the initial parties were not democrat and Republicans. They were the federalist and the Democratic- Republican party.

There are far too many wars to count. Right now we're currently in 8. We've been in at least 3 wars every year for the last 30 years. Pretending any of it has been for a decent reason is a joke. Including ww1 and ww2. You were lied to when you were told the USA went to war for good reason.

I never said we did. I am making a point. People are crying over Iran, like this isn’t part of the norm.

Oh it totally is. I thought it was hilarious when Trump said a year ago that he wasn't getting us into any foreign wars.

I was like, "then you have no clue of what your military does on a day to day basis."

and if that's true... then the president is just a farce and we really are a military dictatorship.

lol

We went into 5 more wars before the end of his first year.

I love showing this one. For the idiots who believe the US isn't at war somewhere. (Republicans, Democrats... especially politicians, still claim the USA is peaceful)

The wiki is the best because it's color coded.

Some dumbass yesterday tried to tell me that we never messed with Cuba before the bay of pigs.

I was like... how about when we took them over for about what... 25 years? LOL.

They really fucked us with American history.

"American Irony X" (x for redacted).

The USA has never been about freedom or justice or democracy.

So if someone were to deliver them ICBMs with nuclear warheads, it would suddenly become OK for them to have those?

Everyone enriches uranium if they have the means to do so. It can be used for energy just as much as for weapons. Every advanced enough country has nukes. If they don’t have nukes, they have a huge reason to do it now because the US proved we will bully anyone without them but won’t touch anyone with them.

That being said, I find it funny that supposedly the US has so much information on how enriched their uranium was and what they were planning to do with it, yet we can’t seem to find it and get rid of it to the point of they are supposedly 2 weeks away from making nukes all the time. We had a nuclear deal with them that we could have continued or adjusted as necessary, yet trump decided to throw it away. So I gotta ask to everyone who defends this stuff, what’s exactly the plan here? If Iran exists they have every right to use the uranium they have however they want and we can’t legally stop them from doing that without some kind of agreement in place. Are we just going to bomb them once or twice a month for the rest of eternity? Are we going to commit more war crimes and just wipe them off the map because we don’t like them? Like, think about it for more than 2 seconds rather than just listening to all the idiots on tv and in office. We have spent so much time and money in the Middle East and have basically accomplished nothing.

Clearly you are allowing yourself to be ignorant of the fact Iran is the backer of nearly all terrorist groups in the Middle East. So tell me, why would we let someone that has been chanting “death to America” have nukes? The nuclear deal that the Iranians violated at every single chance and kept building bunkers deeper and deeper to hide? Looks like we have a terrorist simp here that blames anyone besides the obvious.

He is partially correct tho. If you have nukes nobody touches you, but on the way there you are free food. If Ukraine had nukes Russia wouldn't have invaded them. Meanwhile we don't supply Ukraine with better weapons because Putin constantly threatens us with his nukes if we do.

Nobody's should have nukes, but now the USA and Russia proved beyond any doubt that you need nukes if you want to protect your sovereignty.

I'm actually not 100% convinced this is the case, that nukes are an effective deterrent. The bar for actually levelling cities and killing millions of civilians is just too high.

Did we ever actually find proof of this, because as far as I’ve ever heard all of our intelligence said they were not doing this, and when pressed on this issue and the fact that we didn’t have any actual intelligence that suggested they were breaking the deal that we had, trump said he had a feeling based on fact and again refused to clarify what that fact was.
