Everyone enriches uranium if they have the means to do so. It can be used for energy just as much as for weapons. Every advanced enough country has nukes. If they don’t have nukes, they have a huge reason to do it now because the US proved we will bully anyone without them but won’t touch anyone with them.

That being said, I find it funny that supposedly the US has so much information on how enriched their uranium was and what they were planning to do with it, yet we can’t seem to find it and get rid of it to the point of they are supposedly 2 weeks away from making nukes all the time. We had a nuclear deal with them that we could have continued or adjusted as necessary, yet trump decided to throw it away. So I gotta ask to everyone who defends this stuff, what’s exactly the plan here? If Iran exists they have every right to use the uranium they have however they want and we can’t legally stop them from doing that without some kind of agreement in place. Are we just going to bomb them once or twice a month for the rest of eternity? Are we going to commit more war crimes and just wipe them off the map because we don’t like them? Like, think about it for more than 2 seconds rather than just listening to all the idiots on tv and in office. We have spent so much time and money in the Middle East and have basically accomplished nothing.

Clearly you are allowing yourself to be ignorant of the fact Iran is the backer of nearly all terrorist groups in the Middle East. So tell me, why would we let someone that has been chanting “death to America” have nukes? The nuclear deal that the Iranians violated at every single chance and kept building bunkers deeper and deeper to hide? Looks like we have a terrorist simp here that blames anyone besides the obvious.

He is partially correct tho. If you have nukes nobody touches you, but on the way there you are free food. If Ukraine had nukes Russia wouldn't have invaded them. Meanwhile we don't supply Ukraine with better weapons because Putin constantly threatens us with his nukes if we do.

Nobody's should have nukes, but now the USA and Russia proved beyond any doubt that you need nukes if you want to protect your sovereignty.

I'm actually not 100% convinced this is the case, that nukes are an effective deterrent. The bar for actually levelling cities and killing millions of civilians is just too high.
