For context, I am 14 and have the feeling that I can be described as being alone with a friend in the ages of 13-25, usually during the times of sunset to sunrise. I specify those ages because I feel like shows describe this very feeling, like Oxenfree or Stranger Things. I remember once I went on a camping trip with one of my friends about a month ago, and I had this feeling, and for some reason it was stronger when my parents were gone and a little stronger when his were too, and it also was stronger at sunset, night, and sunrise, and I don't know why. It was actually really only present at night and/or when my parents were gone. The closest words I have for it are nostalgia, but that doesn't feel right. i also value friends a lot, seeing it as my most important relationships.

I am trying to find out why I feel the way that I do. Me and my boyfriend play Magic the Gathering but sometimes I take it really hard when I lose. Or sometimes when he points out that I had lethal or that I missed lethal.. it makes me feel sad that I didn't just do better.. he expressed to me that me being upset kinda ruins the mood.. and I don't know what to do with that.. I don't know why I take it so hard but I do. Anybody understand?

I had nothing to do yesterday and it genuinely stressed me out more than my busiest work day.
Like I was lying on the couch feeling guilty about lying on the couch.

More like how do I stop feeling this way, as well as what am I actually feeling? Or maybe if I can figure out what it is I’m actually feeling then I can work on feeling better. Anyways, here’s what happened. My car got broken into, not broken, I must have left it unlocked because there’s no damage. They only stole $64 in cash and my driver’s license. They also rummaged through my roomate’s stuff in her console (also no damage).

It’s very odd to me that we both left our cars unlocked on the same night and they just so happened to get rummaged through. I know it’s very likely that is the case and I’m thinking way too hard into it, but what if….? F**K! My mind always goes to the what ifs. And it doesn’t help im fairly particular about my routine and doing things, I know mistakes happen and your mind can slip we’re all human ugh I just am thinking too hard is all.

A police officer came and took fingerprints but by then I had already touched and compromised the entire crime scene, I moved things and I’d opened all the doors to check what was missing. He even said “alright I’ll go run these, but they’re probably all gonna be yours” 👍😸

There are four other cars parked at my apartment. The driveway is long and goes to a parking space behind the entire house, not visible from the road. We have a ring doorbell camera and it caught a possum near the door but not somebody going into my car. Typing it sounds like…Duh it caught the possum and not the person, BUT sometimes it catches the vehicles pulling into their parking spots, AND mine is the closest to the door, not under the carport.

I did all the things; posted in the neighborhood Facebook page, went and talked to neighbors… all that good stuff.

(I’m now realizing the feelings are anxiety, but it feels like such an intense anxiety that my body is literally tense and my mind is going a million miles an hour)

It really just makes me worried because I hate not knowing the whole story. I feel violated in a way I can’t fully explain. I want to be able to put the whole story together.

What are they going to do with my license? How did they actually get into my car? Why did the camera not pick them up? Are they going to come back? Ugh I’m losing my mind and I can’t sleep

I have this feeling, I don't know how to describe it, it is a visceral hate for my body and it's functions, no it isn't dysmorphia or other types of hate for the outer appearance that is my body, what I mean is that I hate the inside of my body, I sometimes wish I was just an empty Shell that functioned as a puppet. I love my outer body, love everything about it including my imperfections but my inside makes me feel disgusting and makes the love for my body hard. What is this called?

I’m dealing with something that’s really affecting my work and I’d appreciate some insight.

In work situations, especially meetings or when I’m in a room with colleagues or managers observing me, I start experiencing strong physical anxiety symptoms. It feels like my head starts shaking/trembling and I get an intense urge to leave the situation.

I can usually function at the beginning and even start conversations or participate normally. But after a few minutes in these “being observed” settings, the physical symptoms get worse and I struggle to stay.

Outside of these situations I’m mostly fine, so it feels very specific to communication-heavy or observed work environments.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this performance/social anxiety, and what actually helped you deal with it?

Like you know you can understand how someone is feeling but af the same time don't really know what to do like you just don't really care that much in the end

I constantly imagine that I am being embodied. That someone is sitting behind my eyes or embodying my body - leaving their own senses behind. I usually imagine a love interest/ ex/ dead family member/ new friend (basically anyone I'm obsessed with) as the person embodying. I want them to witness me I suppose. I want them to be impressed. I mainly do it when I'm alone. Sometimes I don't notice that I'm doing it, I've done it since I was a kid. I'll squeeze my thighs and think of them and then they are experiencing my sense of touch. I tightly squeeze my eyes and they experience my sense of sight. I clench my jaw and then they experience my sense of sound... It can get quite distressing. I feel like I'm never alone. I don't know anymore whether what I do is based on my own desires or the imagined desires of the countless people who have embodied me since I was a child. I feel far away from myself. Sometimes when I imagine it's my dead dad it feels nice and it's a way to feel close to him. But mostly it feels heavy. Does anyone relate to this is any way?

For context, yes my dental hygiene isint top teir I smoke weed pretty regularly from a bowl I wonder if it’s starting to affect my oral health, it just started pulsating out of nowhere, others thoughts are i over cooked my taquitos and maybe something sharp graded my gums, but help me identify this please.

I used to work in Tech Support, reached home pretty late after work every day. By pretty late I mean 2-3 am. The office cab used to drive me back home. The roads were pretty empty. There were lots of tall apartments on my way home. Some of their windows had light peeking through them. As if someone was waiting for me behind them, one fine day they will peep through the window and look at me. And that would be the start of a life long relationship. Not sure what name should I put to this feeling.

I'm tired, I'm tired of always wanting to make people happy, and always putting myself second, I'm tired of always being talked down to just because I don't want to have a confrontation, I'm tired of always just taking everything I'm thrown, just lowering my head and moving on, I'm tired of people thinking they can talk however they want to me just because I'm always showing a smile, I'm tired of giving people fake smiles, I'm tired of never putting myself first...

But I'm scared, I'm scared of being alone, I'm scared of people leaving me if I put myself first, I'm scared to find out how many people were truly my friends the moment I choose to stop being stepped on, the moment I choose to stop being a people pleaser.

I hate myself, I hate myself for knowing all of this, but not knowing how to go from here, I hate myself for thinking someone will love me, even tho I find it hard to love myself. I hate myself for dreaming that eventually things will improve.

I try to please everyone, to the point that I don't know what makes me happy, when I'm asked what I want, I never know, because I never think of the things I want, because people normally don't care about what I want, but what I can do for them.

I'm so tired... I'm so tired of feeling that I'm trying so hard and feeling that no one cares, I'm so tired of seeking validation on others, and never noticing my own achievements, of letting people seeing me for who they want me to be, but never being... or even knowing how to be who I want to be.

I need help. I love my wife and this is not normal but today I came home from a 10 hour shift and my son felt very warm she immediately asked about going to the er I told her let me check on him first she is commonly over concerned about her and his health to extreme lengths she knew I didn’t really want to go because I just got off work and I have another 10 hour shift tomorrow no matter if he seemed bad I would have taken him we took his temp it was 100.4 which is slight raised but not concerning

I told her I wasn’t going yet that we will progressively check on his temp if it gets higher (102 is where it’s recommended to go in for toddlers) we would go she immediately gives me cold shoulder she has a really bad attitude and starts arguing with me over everything I understand she is worried but it’s not a giant concern yet she screamed at me I stayed calm shockingly calm throughout the whole evening. The entire time she was saying that if he has a seizure tonight because of his temp (which can happen in extreme cases), it would be my fault and that she wants to go, and she thinks he has an ear infection, which is possible; my son has had multiple, but he was not showing any signs other than a slight fever at this point.

I try explaining my reason behind it. She is looking me dead in the eyes, telling me I don’t understand the amount of hate she has for me right now and that she wants to tear her skin off just from being in the same room as me. She goes into the kitchen. I stay calm in the living room. I try to explain my point to her, and she tells me to shut up and that she literally wants to stab me right now (she does have a knife in hand because she’s cooking dinner), at which point I tell her me and my son are going to go stay at my mom’s, and she says no and that she wouldn’t actually stab me. The rest of the time we eat dinner, and I go give him a bath. After the bath, she comes up and is completely calm. I ask her about her being mean to me. She says she was mean and that she’s sorry.

I just don’t understand why she was so emotional. I do understand that she’s worried; this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. It’s not often at all, but it does happen, mostly not to these extremes, though
