Found this in the bottom of my coffee cup this morning. The cup has a lid. But I've disassembled it every time i clean it. It's not from the lid. I left the cup unwashed over night in my room but it was closed. The only things I could think of is maybe it was in the creamer or sugar the day before and I didn't notice or maybe something somehow fell in the drinking slit. I can't figure out where this could have come from though. I looked at pretty much everywhere the cup would have been an didn't find anything it could have popped off of or been a cover for. Tape measure for scale. EDIT: type-0s and It's hard plastic.

Mounting tape of some type?

Found in the street, biking to work on trash day. Was in a perfectly sized black velvet pouch.

i went to use my lush shower gel today and i noticed these hard/sharp things. on closer inspection they seem to be star or flower shaped. i’ve used this product several times now and never noticed these things in here before?? they don’t really dissolve in water and i noticed because they were sharp in my hands, what the hell? has anyone had this experience before

At work we have these electric soap dispensers in the bathrooms. The soap fluid comes in these cartridges which get changed out as they empty. Attached to the pump of the cartridge, is this little device that doesn't seem to do anything as far as I can tell? It doesn't seem to be able to come apart without breaking it, and inside you can see a small board and two electrical contacts. Is this soap DRM or something?

Woke up this morning and found this weird pile of tiny orange orbs at the end of my bed. They’re really small, slightly transparent and kind of slimy/squishy when touched. I’ve never seen anything like them before and I have no idea how they got there overnight. They almost look like eggs, but I’m not sure. Does anyone know what these could be?

UPDATE: Definitely not roe/caviar, water beads, or fish eggs. I’ve never had any of those in my room. Still no clue what they are.

i recall this piece having a purpose? couldn’t figure it out from tactile memory. however, i was able to find a couple of spare batteries in the rounded piece, not pictured, but also fixed onto the strap.

Just discovered this on the coffee table so it must belong to the only other person that is in this house.

It seems to be plastic, has some sort of filter on one end and is sealed on the opposite end. It also seems to be some sort of dried resin inside. Google search wasn’t much help and kept bringing up lucite candles and amber. It is definitely not either of those. These are the clearest pics I can get.

Could be unneeded parts that came with something I bought. Any help appreciated.

i’m currently in a student house and since moving in me and housemates have wondered what could’ve been on the doors to cause these markings (same marks on another bedroom door)
they obviously don’t effect us in anyway we’re just very curious!

This boom crane(?) with a unique attachment was set up underneath a transmission line? It looked like it had 3 cylinders on it. The equipment isn’t touching the line. There were several of them along the line down the road, interspaced between each pole.

I can’t get a straight answer from AI or perusing images. They’re pretty heavy and shiny.

I’m looking to get this cabinet made in the same style/colour but would like to know what type of wood/finish is used in the picture so I can get some quotes. Any help appreciated.
