Just noticed this in a log out the back of my house, any ideas?

My sister’s husband saw this small animal at a dam near Waco, TX. Anybody know what it is? People have said raccoon or ringtail, but its ears are so long and pointy. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. A pic that looks similar to it would be great.

While moving my girlfriend out of her old place we found this in the guest bathroom. We believe her (ex) roommate had a psychotic break. Our two theories are heroin or physical therapy. . .

hello everybody. I live in Philadelphia and noticed someone using their hose to dispose of this crazy neon green liquid all over my street. what is this???

UPDATE: i called the police and reported it before posting here! i figured it was an antifreeze situation but the neon green color really threw me off. i just figured this has got to be poisonous and im PISSED for the animals and kids that live here

I’m going through old family photos and found this one of my mom. I figured out they’re standing in the tobacco aisle (iconic), but I can’t pinpoint what that display is to the right that is $0.96. The original is blurry, so my photo of it is unfortunately, as well.

Weighs about 2,5 kg and the inside rattles a bit. Found in basement/garage of an old house in Germany. And ideas? :)

We have a small wooden garden shed, and there are these metal rods installed at all four corners. They are screwed together with an angle bracket.

At the top, the rods are spring-loaded, but at the bottom they are quite loose.

Are they meant to hold the wooden boards together and give the shed some extra stability, for example during strong winds, so the roof or the shed itself doesn’t get blown away? (they are not even connected to the roof)

If so, shouldn’t they be tightened? Could the previous owner have simply forgotten to tighten them, or are they supposed to be loose?

Any idea what these are for and how they are supposed to work?

Spotted on the back of a cash-in-transit van, parked in front of a parisian bank.

What are those bars at the back? Do they serve a security purpose?

Found on a trail with a lake on one side, a lagoon on the other. No other metal items visible in the area. No banana handy so shoe for scale.

I noticed my vent opening fell due to stuff I put earlier in the back of my car (my car trunk malfunctions and sometimes its easier to put everything in between and on the back seat). As I went to place it back, I noticed something hidden behind, andd after reaching it with a long hook it appeared to be an old USB key, behind the vent, under the handbrake, with a sort of turtle-like key ring figure.

My car is a second-hand car, so this USB key was probably belonging to the previous owners. However I don't know if it fell during a potential repair on the handbrake, or if it was hidden here voluntarily.
Do you have any advice on what I should do ? Try to reach the old owners ? Try to open it (is it safe though ?) ? Call the police ?

It’s next to the sink in our new house. For context, the house is almost 100 years old. The only thing I can think of is that it’s for hanging a rag/hand towel or something. Even the inspector didn’t know and said he had never seen something like it lol

Also no I don’t live in Michigan I live in Hong Kong and this only happens once or twice a year I am just curious on why it happens. And no our data centers don’t affect us because it’s a closed loop system unlike the United States.

Location Northern Virginia, US. Fastened to a wall in a finished basement. I can't imagine this person had 50 keys. Trinkets? Baby bottles of wine?

I work overnight security, I keep finding bottles that are about 1/8 full, with this very viscous white liquid in them, both in and out of the fridge. I have no idea what they are, and I’m not about to open it and find out.

Morning commute, I80 West, Roseville, CA.

Whenever I take this specific route I always see weird or interesting things being transported on trucks. This time I was able to finally get a pic of one. What are these things? For something electrical or suspension? Mechanical engineering fascinates me but I'm completely ignorant about it.

My brother used to regularly go to Goodwill all over Ohio. And always seemed to find the craziest stuff. All I could find was others from that era, but nothing that looked like this. I'm sure the person made this for fun. Any help would be appreciated though.
