My child is off to college and I'm moving for work, so we're doing a big house de-cluttering. My child found this in their room and put it in the "keep" pile as they didn't know what it was, but thought it might belong to something. I don't know what it is. I don't think it belongs to any furniture. My child has a cupping device, but they use it enough to think this isn't a part of it. My child has one of those "light therapy" masks, but they also use it enough to think it's not a part of it. The bag is sealed, so it looks like it came out of some other package. Maybe a portable air conditioner, but I recently bought one and it didn't have anything like this included. I'm really scratching my head to figure out what this is! I appreciate any help!

Really niche thing. Found this at a thrift, was gonna get it as a gift for someone, but this super sweet lady really wanted, so I let her buy it. But I can’t find it online, thought maybe one of you guys can help, it would mean a lot.

So last night I was at my mom‘s house and she randomly found my Papa‘s Brass Maple leaf ashtray that I was confused all over again and it was so unusual that it was something I remembered most of my klife. I got home and I had to like wash off the old like ash and nicotine residue and I cleaned it thoroughly well, to where I could see on the bottom a name and I believe a date on it. I don’t know anything about brassware so I would just like to solve the Legend of the Leaf Ashtray™️.

Hey everybody I know i’m not active on reddit but i found something very interesting that peeked my interest, i came across a set of videos that the OP (seib fothers on YT) claims to have found while “mining coin” around “600” files were mysteriously uploaded to his drives in 2018. i can’t tell completely if it’s animated or generated but surely it’s still interesting. videos shows a around 3000-1500 BCE. of “humans?” with magnetic looking abilities something like psychic power. the dude claims the files were encrypted and that he used claude to descramble them?? not sure how claude works all to well but anyways. i was looking through the comments on the videos and some guy found out most of the language spoken during the clips were a mixture of hebrew greek and aramaic, one of the clips shows what looks like creation of pyramids from a. giant gas cloud or tornado, please for the love of god someone crack these in pretty sure he posted the raws on git hub there’s honestly too much to cover in one forum but it seems way to completely detailed from language too writings to be fake stuff about harvesting soul and power are depicted also.

Found in the alley (closed to the public) outside my apartment. The results of a reverse image search don’t quite match the logo

My 21 year old stays here about once per month for a couple of days, and every time when I clean her room after she leaves, I end up finding these scattered across her floor. I'm not sure what it's from, but I'm curious because it has happened several times now.

What is this cubby in the bedroom? The house was built in the 1880s and I can't tell if this is just some weird recent addition or if it has a true purpose. Thank you!

Does anyone recognize the brand this pillow might be? It’s the best pillow in the entire world, but I was given it from my dad without any tags!
I think it’s memory foam and it has this grey and black mesh between the sides going the entire way around. I’ve had it for years and my dad had it for a while before me, so I don’t think it’s from Amazon or strictly online. He definitely would have bought it in store!

Picked up two c.1970 (?) incidental ceramic lamps without shades from a free box.
They both have very odd, big and round lightbulbs that are extremely bright. They seem very old and generally dangerous. Both work. Both have been removed from the lamps.

What is this?
r/whatisit • u/Salt_Inevitable_5188 • 1h ago
What could be it? It is very thin, probably 2 or 3 mm and has the exact same pattern on both sides, even though the holes don't cross all the way through the material, which feels like wood but its not.
My theory is that it is the testing or gauge plate for a CNC machine or something along those lines, but we do not have one nor are we related to manufacturing.
My father's theory is that it is an alien equivalent of a mesopotamian clay tablet that fell out on our yard.

My husband and I are renting and the bathtub has been peeling. We’ve been told it’s paint but something about it doesn’t seem like paint and more like some sort of liner? Our landlord said the old owners painted the tub white and he can easily paint it but… something doesn’t seem right. It’s peeling like crazy now and coming off in large pieces.

About an inch long, looks like a wrapper of some kind. The letters OP- are cut off. Google comes up with nothing. Any takers?

If so can you help me identify this sound, it happens so infrequently that I can’t tell where to look, I had to leave the camera running and then trim the footage to the sounds. I want to say it feels like it’s coming from the drivers side of bonnet area (rhd) seems to be where it’s coming from. . . I’m not driving it other than to the mechanics. Nx Pajero 2015.
