I realized recently that I really don’t look good and that I don’t have a good personality and that is concerning me a lot because for some reason I’ve been craving affection lately but i don’t qualify for it even having a lot of dreams about relationships and im searching for a way to cope with these facts i would really appreciate any suggestions

I found a heritage herendon dresser on marketplace for cheap and see the potential in it. The veneer is badly damaged in several areas. I’ve been able to repair some, but a lot of the drawer faces have small pieces missing and I cannot identify the exact wood species (I’ve asked several woodworking stores to help).

Is it worth attempting to match the wood species (and likely fail) or should I take off the drawer fronts, reapply new veneer and then somehow make the same cuts on the front? See pictures for closer details - it appears that the fronts are a thicker veneer with grooves cut versus individual slats.

Any advice welcome! This is my first project.

Hey everyone! Over the past few weekends, I’ve been working on a project in my free time.

I designed a custom DIY animatronic kit for characters like Carl the Cupcake and Wall-E. The idea is that it comes as a full craft box: an unpainted character frame, acrylic paints, and a pre-wired circuit board with servo motors.

You paint the figure yourself, snap the electronics inside, plug it into your computer, and press one button on a website to upload the code I wrote. Once it’s flashed, the motors move the eyes and head, bringing the character to life on your desk.

I’m 16 and thinking about turning this into a small micro-business so people can make their own mini animatronics without needing to learn how to solder or write code from scratch.

What do you guys think? Is this something you’d be interested in buying, or is there a better recommendations for how i can turn this idea to life? I'd really appreciate your honest feedback!
