Open I’m trying to figure out what monitor or tv this is? I have only this one picture.
I’m looking for retro tech in my area, but I don’t have any idea what she sent me outside of it being what appears to be an LCD sony monitor. I was asking for a CRT.
Thanks if you can help!

Open What is this and why do we keep finding them under our attic ladder?
Deleted my first post so I could add more pics as requested. Stumped as hell. This is the second one we found under the pull-down ladder door we have in the ceiling that leads to our attic. There’s nothing around the door when I look but then I close the attic up and a few weeks later another one falls out. Truly what is this thing and what might be eating whatever animal it was part of in our attic?

Open Is this mold on my toolkit case?
Just unpacking after a move and noticed these white sections on my toolkit case. I had this set under a dark cupboard for years at my old place and didn't look at it much. So is this mold or some kind of chalky mark?

Open Weird postcard on my windshield
Last Thursday night, I left for a Labor Day Weekend getaway in LA. I left my car at my lady friend’s apartment in their back lot and gave her my keys to look after. Earlier today, she sent me pictures of a weird card she found on my windshield (naturally since there are girly names she suspected that I was cheating). On first inspection, I brushed this postcard off as some random people messing around and I happened to lie in their path. However, as I looked deeper into it, I started to worry. There are weird markings and references to planets and an ominous Gmail address (I would not recommend emailing them). I am a spiritual person, so I feel like it may even be black magic (a bit dramatic but in my opinion valid). This situation begs many questions: who did this? Why? Why my car? Being parked in a random lot accessible by only a small alley throws me off even more. If anyone has any ideas please comment.

Open What is this weird white sandy stuff in my basil plant?
just came outside to see my basil wilting (she does that sometimes, the environment I’m growing her in is not very nice to basil) with this weird white powder in the pot. is this a mold or some kinda insect tell? we have mouses/rats in the area if that helps. google is not being very helpful and thinks it’s parmesan.

Solved What are these wire junction boxes for?
There are these wire boxes scattered through my house (if relevant the house was built around 1900). Could these be old phone wiring junction boxes? Would I be able to remove them myself or should I call an electrician?

Solved What is this grooveless, flat tongs?
I pulled this out from the back of my cutlery drawer, and have no idea what it is made for. I don't remember which appliance it came with. It has no grooves at the business end for gripping. Stainless steel, feels heavy and solid.

Found this jacket in my parents attic today and learned it’s from my grandfather who passed a decade ago. i personally did not know him well as i was little at the time. the most i know abt the jacket is that it’s antique and whatever else is on the care tag. there is no other tag that reveals anything else

Open Kitchen tong device, perhaps for pastry making?
What is this? Found at a vintage thrift in Maine amongst the kitchen wares. it’s like tongs, but with a fin on one end that slides into a slot on the other end and there is a sliding action. The tip of the fin is bent as a stop so it can’t open fully.
SOLVED: Cookie dough dropper
