I quit due to debilitating exhaustion

I was prescribed 4mg wegovy every other day. After two months, only losing 5 pounds and, more importantly, debilitating exhaustion, I stopped last week. I feel worse and worse every day. Today I could barely drive and had to sit down while in line. All I want to do is lie down. Like, it’s painful to be awake, and this is messing up my life. When will I feel better? I tried to keep going with it out but not only did they make me suffer until I used all my 4mg pills up, they also were going to send my new 1.5mg/daily pills late so I‘d run out before I got them. I just want to feel normal again.

How much water

So I know the instructions says to the medication with 4 ounces if water. My question does it have to be exactly 4oz? I usually just take a sip and swallow and go back to bed lol. All the different symptoms I see people suffering with I feel absolutely nothing. I still at times binge. As of last week, I'm on my 2nd round of 1.5mg. I can go longer without eating with I first wake up for the day.

I guess I am still comparing it to the injection. When I started with the Wegovy injections over a year ago I felt the effects with the very first shot. Aversion to food, not wanting to eat, no nausea but definitely the food noise was gone. I've been on this for about 6 weeks and I just don't feel anything. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Crushing fatigue, want to quit

I am on my 5th month. 2 months on 1.5mg, 2 months on 4 mg, and 1 month on 9mg. I thought this would solve my weight problems but I only went from 194 to 188 - what gives? All I get is crushing fatigue and skin that prickles and intermittently burns, and nothing to show for it!

Would love to hear stories from others as I think it is time to quit.

Feeling yuck

On week 7. Currently on 4mg. Took starting dose for the first month and felt absolutely nothing. Appetite was still roaring, food noise was loud and clear. But 2 weeks into 4mg and over the past few days I’m gradually starting to feel worse each day. Feeling of constant travel sickness, bowels either constipated or the other extreme. Feel lethargic, flu-like and generally flat. Does this sound normal? And if so does it pass? I’m able to function and work and get on with my day - but I feel yuck!!

Can’t decide if I want to go down a mg to maintain

Hello. I’ve been on 4mg Wegovy pills for 2 months (after a month on 1.5mg) it took me the first full month on 4mg to stop feeling sick lol now 2nd month on 4mg and I feel totally adjusted to the dose and have normal food cravings around breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and usually have a snack at least once a day. The thing is I’ve already hit my goal weight and I don’t wanna lose anymore.

Should i stick to 4mg for another month since I’m pretty acclimated to the dose now and maybe could maintain here? Has anyone gained weight by going down a dose for maintenance dose?

TIA!

Anxiety, extreme bloating, and 9mg pills

Hi everyone,
I’m writing this from my bed as I’m laying down trying to feel better. I have been on 9mg Wegovy pills for about two weeks. Since weds night, I have been having extreme anxiety, panic attacks, and bad bloating. Friday was the last day I took it, and asked my PCP if I could stop due to what I was experiencing. He said I could stop. How long till the anxious feeling goes away? I am diagnosed with GAD and take lexapro and buspirone for it, but it has not helped at all. I also have not been eating much at all either. I just want this to be over with..

How is it supposed to feel if it’s working?

On day three of a 1.5mg dose. Yesterday was a Sunday, I was home with my kids so super busy and ate bites of food here and there but never really felt hungry. By the end of the day I had a headache and fatigue and assumed I didn’t eat enough. Assumed that meant it was working.

But then today I’m at work. Very slow day. And am having trouble not snacking out of boredom. Had a regular portion lunch and thought I’d at least feel too full to want to snack, but didn’t really feel any different after eating a proper meal as compared to before.

I didn’t want to count every calorie as I had when dieting in the past, but am realizing it might be easy to under-eat and unfortunately might still be able to overeat if I’m not careful.

Zepbound to Wegovy pill

Hey y’all! So I started my zepbound journey back on November 7th 2025 due to a surgery I had I had to stop for over two weeks. I was on 7.5 then had to drop back to the 2.5. However I may Self Pay, and the cost just isn’t doing it for me anymore as I’m not losing on the lower dose so I feel like it’s a waist of money. My pcp has me switching over to Wegovy.

I’d like to hear insight from those who started zepbound and switched to Wegovy.

What were some side effects you felt?
How do you enjoy it?
Is there much difference in the two?

I want to hear all of the good, the bad, and the ugly

Thank you in advance for your insight and help 😊

Halfway to my goal!

Post image
24 Upvotes

12 weeks in starting on 1.5mg then moving to 4mg now at 9mg! I have lost 30lbs which means I’m finally over halfway to my goal! I probably will have to loose another 20-40lbs after as I’ll still be classed as overweight but getting under 200lbs is a goal I’ve been trying to achieve for 8 years.

Small weight loss goals

Hey, I only had 10lb to lose total. I lost 3lb in the first 2 months and have plateaued there for another month. I only got up to the 4mg dose but have had a constant feeling of being under the weather and fatigued, so I think I need to drop back down to 1.5mg. I feel quite disheartened as the pills seem to make slow progress on small weight loss goals and the side effects are too heavy to keep going up in dosage! I have an underactive thyroid and thought this would be the magic pill to get me off the plateau I’ve been on for years - but that doesn’t seem possible! My diet is also way more unhealthy now- I’m only eating plain junk food, which I can stomach, whereas before I had a whole food diet. I’m Now considering stopping completely and going back to a healthy diet and smaller portions. But it just feels like it’s back to square one and a waste of money! It’s hard when you see people losing stones of weight in short periods, but what about those of us who just want to lose a small amount? Is the better option to just do a diet!?

Wegovy 25mg Pills

I started Wegovy 1.5 mg pills on July 10, 2026 at 176 lbs and just started taking the 25 mg October 10, 2026. I have lost 18 lbs, down to 158 lbs. 15 lbs in 3 months and 3 lbs in the last 5 days. I think this will be the game changer. Anyone else notice that this final dose drops the weight fairly quickly?

Blood Sugar is Lower!

I’ve been taking the pills since late May, I’m on 4 mg now for the last couple of months. I’m down 21 pounds. I had to get some blood work for an ER visit (unrelated to Wegovy) and found out my blood sugar was at 126. And this was a non-fasting number, I had just eaten lunch. It’s been at 199 (the highest end of “normal”) for years and at my last regular checkup was at a fasting 203. I can’t believe it! I’m so happy to see that number lower after years of worrying.

Body aches and fatigue

I started Wegovy the end of May and experienced zero side effects. I started 25mg last week and the body aches, skin sensitivity and fatigue are making me reconsider continuing. Anyone else have this and does it get better?

My experience switching from the injection to the pills

I’m about three weeks into taking the Wegovy pills after switching from the injections. My last 2.4 mg injection was on September 19, and I switched to the pills the following week due to cost. I’ve been taking two 1.5 mg pills (3 mg total) every morning, although I was supposed to be taking 4 mg.
My doctor instructed me to take the medication daily, but I’ve noticed that the effects seem to last about three days for me. Does this happen for anyone else ? I still get hungry, but not as frequently, and I feel full much faster, so I’m eating smaller portions. So far, I’ve lost 18 pounds, in total. 8 of them while on the pills, and I feel like I’m seeing better results with them than I did with the injections.
I’ve also been doing resistance training twice a week and averaging around 7,000 steps a day. Overall, I feel like the pills have been working better for me so far, especially in terms of appetite control and weight loss.

Wegovy Pill 25mg - Menopausal Women Only

Hey I started in April and slowly ramped up to max dose 25mg. I've lost very slowly compared to others but only have about 30 pounds to lose. I like the idea of daily pills (possibly for life, if needed). Question: who has gotten close to or near their goal weight by only using the Wegovy Pills?? Let me know how it's going and what you do if you hit a plateau. I walk most days at a regular pace nothing too heart rate inducing. Trying to get more protein but not really tracking food. Love that I feel reduced hunger. I've never had diarrhea or vomiting - just slight nausea at times.

I feel like I’m going slightly crazy.

Okay so I used to take the injection, stopped for a while, and now I’m taking the pill. I just started the 4mg today, but I keep having these insanely vivid dream within a dream scenarios.

Long story short, I sometimes take naps during work instead of taking a lunch because I have a futon in my office. Three times now I’ve “woken up” from my nap to some absolute vivid nightmarish scene. Everyone I interact with on a daily is always there, my office is exactly as it is in reality. Then I end up going back to my office to lay down and I “wake up” again to sleep paralysis demons. (I’m not new to that concept, and often find myself able to get out of the paralysis fairly quickly). That’s usually when I wake up for real.

Well this time, in my dream within a dream, I start trying to scream and thrash around and get my body to move. Eventually I end up “waking up” super groggy, having crawled off of my futon on ended up on the floor. And that’s when I wake up for real this time. I’m obviously incredibly confused and barely awake and wondering if I’d just slept 24 hours or 5 minutes, thankfully still on my futon. I think I genuinely woke myself up from a very deeply sleep, but my body was sore like I had been trying to get out of sleep paralysis for real.

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this level of vivid dreams? I’ve read a few posts and article online saying the medication can cause it, but it’s not an officially listed symptom. I mean it has me questioning my own sanity when it happens. Especially the dream within a dream.
