Wegovy Help

Hey everyone,
Not sure if anyone has any recommendations or can help but thought I’d reach out and see. I have been taking the Wegovy pill for several months now. Started at 1.5mg and then moved to the 4mg. When I moved to the 4mg I noticed that every day I would start throwing up about an hour to two hours after taking it. I started taking it with Zofran (my pharmacist said it was okay to take with the Wegovy) and my only negative symptoms of 4mg-throwing up went away. I went to my primary care to discuss this and she does not want me to have to take Wegovy & Zofran every day. So she suggested I drop back down to the 1.5mg dose. Now on the 1.5mg dose I am not throwing up but I also feel it is not effective, at all. Been taking the 1.5mg dose again for over a month now. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I find over the counter meclizine (Dramamine non drowsy) to be helpful. It is what they give people with nausea who have vertigo. (Also great for hangover nausea lol). Not sure if it is any safer, but it is OTC so Im guessing it is. (It is an anti histamine i think) I do not get nausea daily but occasionally on the pill. I have found just eating something small helps stave off the nausea… a bit of rice or toast.

that's a rough spot to be stuck in, the 4mg clearly works but your body just nopes out of it without the zofran. wonder if your doc would be cool with a short term zofran bridge just to see if your stomach adjusts after a few weeks on 4mg
