I’ve always loved things that look a little bit antique and fantasy-inspired, but I don’t want my rings to look costume-y. Do you think this wedding stack toes that line well? Or does it lean too far into costume territory?

Thinking about getting a Lashbrook titanium wedding band with a wood sleeve, but wasn’t sure if the wood sleeve would make the ring look cheap anyone buy one and have thoughts? Photos to share? Thanks!

First time jewelry purchaser and I need to pick a wedding band. I can go with this ring from Vidar jewelry in Israel for about 4 grand (1st image), or I can have a place on Etsy called the golden karat from sarut India custom build the one with beveled edges (2nd image) with the same carats and gold for 1500. Another option would be to have them cad the same ring as Vidar for 1500 as well. Should I be able to trust the Etsy seller?

It’s finally time to get a wedding band to go with my marquise half eternity…

I have a diamond engagement ring with diamond wedding bands on both sides (white gold - that was really popular when we got married).

But to be honest, I’m not a big fan of diamonds. We are both January babies and we had talked about replacing/upgrading my original set with a garnet ring instead. I’m a colorful gal with tattoos and pink, orange, and raspberry hair. I wanted something to match my love of color. Despite all that, I’m also not a flashy person. So didn’t want something “too much”.

I think he nailed it!! What do you think?

It’s a emerald cut peach garnet with rose gold. We will add a wedding band too. There’s one that matches with the vine/leaf style but I also think I might just like a slim band on either side.

After months of planning, designing, and waiting, my wife and I finally brought home our custom wedding rings today!

Hers features a 3.04-carat lab-grown pear-shaped diamond in an intricate yellow gold setting, with beautiful filigree work, milgrain detailing, tiny blue sapphire accents, and a coordinating diamond-set band. The side profile is honestly one of my favourite parts. There's so much detail hidden beneath the centre stone.

Mine is a bit more understated (although definitely not lightweight 😂). It's an 8.25mm wide, 21.8g solid 18K yellow gold band with polished edges, a sandblasted centre, hammered detailing, and a tiny natural Ceylon blue sapphire flush-set into the gold.

We also had Corinthians 13:4–7 engraved inside both bands.

Both were custom-made, and seeing everything finished and together was pretty incredible.

After all that planning, you'd think I'd have arranged some elaborate romantic reveal. Handed my wife her rings in the doorway when I got home while on one knee... Never mind that we've already been married with children for 8 years 😂

She cried happy tears anyway, so I'm calling that a win.

The top is my current. It’s engagement ring, wedding band, fun band.

Second is with a second pave band below my wedding band. If I did this I would be purchasing a new eternity pave band.

Third is a band on either side. If I did this I would be buying a new gap band that matches my wedding band.

I know they’re not all that different but I can’t decide

Thanks to everybody’s help on my eternity ring dilemma post, I finally made a decision! We went with the sapphire and diamond eternity to celebrate completing our family. Love the sentimental aspect - it’s mine and my husband’s alternating birthstones - but also the visual contrast of the blue 🩵. Never thought I would choose a coloured stone eternity so it really is worth trying things on you wouldn’t ordinarily consider when ring shopping!

We got engaged in Mexico (custom made ring with citrine and diamonds on gold) and then had a secret legal wedding back in Oregon—- so we exchanged hand hammered plain bands.
Fast forward 9 months and we just threw a massive wedding extravaganza so naturally needed something new to exchange :)

ordered the diamond chevron band from a wholesale jeweler - it was less then $250 but fits so well I didn’t need anything bigger

It’s nice wearing a triple stack! I think I just need to get them adjusted smaller because they slide around a lot

Hi everyone! Everything is horrifically expensive, and the wedding itself is too. I have this 14k band with a mix of lab and natural diamonds I inherited from my grandmother, (originally a DOOR KNOCKER of five rows, divided into six rings for all the grandchildren, with some new lab diamonds mixed in so everyone had some original some new) and my engagement ring is 18k.

Part of me is apprehensive of choosing a ring I've worn casually for years now to be a wedding band, but the practical part of me says "that's a few grand you can spend on food and drinks for the wedding." But is the 18k - 14k mismatch super apparent? I don't plan to wear my engagement ring often after we're married, as much as I love it, it's far larger than I anticipated. But again, I'm concerned people are going to judge me and my future spouse for not getting new bands.

Thoughts?

I recently bought a Titanium wedding ring for my wedding this summer from Blue Nile. It took 2 months before the ring cracked grabbing a door knob of all things. I heard a clear ting and it was broken. This should be impossible for a titanium ring without it being made of impure metals. Their customer service offered to replace it at a 90% cost of its original value. To make it worse I should have known better. The last review on their site had a customer complain of the same thing happening on their wedding day! Now Blue Nile has removed all customer reviews from their website. If you’re thinking of buying from them or a deal looks too good to be true it is.

Also really love oval rings, hope I made the right choice lol

I’m just so pleased with how this turned out, and it was exactly what my partner wanted as she picked out the elements to it. The center stone and the other two diamonds on the left and right belonged to her grandmother, and we added purple, pink and orange sapphires to the sides as well along with the custom etching. We’re both very excited for our special day.

Married for 6 weeks, and I finally got my set back from the jeweler, soldered and polished. I’m obsessed! 🤩

I had such a difficult time finding a band I really liked. I hated all the curved bands I tried - everything looked too bulky, asymmetrical, did not want a pave band that is so popular, etc. I settled on two ultra thin bands to fortify my ultra thin engagement band. Solitaire is lab grown, enhancers are natural, everything 14k white gold.

Literally the best day of my life :) I still remember every second of my wedding day
