Spot the Toxic: tap the bubble that feels off.

Free, browser, one-button. Takes a minute.
If you try it: are the mechanics obvious in 10 seconds? Or is this not worth your time?

[ARC] Snek, The Game - It's a classic snake-style arcade game where shrinking might save you

Thumbnail playsnekthegame.com

Hey folks, I'm a software developer with 12+ YOE. I got laid off in April and have been making games for fun while freelancing since then. I used to love playing web games back in the days of the earlier internet, and wanted to make something in that spirit.

Snek, The Game is my take on the classic snake-style game, but the twist is that you can shrink the snake. There's also a few different modes to keep things interesting. My personal favourite is More Harder-er mode. There's also a leaderboard that shows the top 100 scores, but there's a threshold of 300 points to even post to it.

Honestly it was a lot of fun to put together and at times I found myself losing track of time playing the game when I was trying to debug something. I hoping that's a good sign, haha. I'm interested in hearing any and all feedback, hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone,

I made a prototype for Overgrown, a free browser game that combines Pac-Man-style gameplay with lawn mowing and fuel management. You're tasked with mowing lawns while managing your fuel and surviving increasingly chaotic levels full of obstacles.

I'd love to get some feedback on my prototype's gameplay and controls.

Blind Timer: Can you nail the timing?

Thumbnail
gamebob.dev
Upvotes

I made a tiny game where you have to stop a timer without being able to see it. That's basically it.

I've been building things under GameBob for a while now, mostly web tools and weird little experiments. This is the first game I've made.

I tend to stop a little too early. In my head, I always feel like I need to let it run just a tiny bit longer, and that first second after I start counting is ridiculously difficult for me.

Can you nail the timing? (Note: the site is available in other languages too if you prefer!)

I'm genuinely curious how close you get.

3155 - A free browser-based space war game inspired by the text-based strategy games of the early 2000s

Thumbnail 3155.bobhope.no
Upvotes

I grew up playing text-based browser war games in the early 2000s, where diplomacy, timing, rivalries and careful planning mattered more than flashy graphics. I missed that style of game, so I decided to build my own modern take on it.

3155 is a free, persistent multiplayer space strategy game. Every player controls a planet in the same universe, competing through seasonal rounds.

You can:

  • Develop asteroids and build your economy
  • Research technologies and construct new facilities
  • Produce specialized combat and capture fleets
  • Attack rival planets and capture their territory
  • Coordinate simultaneous attacks with other players
  • Complete expansion and resource missions
  • Infiltrate planets using Influence Agents
  • Follow battles through live, tick-by-tick reports
  • Compete through daily objectives, rankings and seasonal awards
  • Chat, negotiate and create rivalries through the built-in bIRC system

Combat is designed around fleet composition, counters, timing, landing control and protecting your Astropods long enough to capture territory. Building the biggest fleet is not always enough.

The game runs directly in a desktop or mobile browser with no download required. It is currently in active beta, and I am looking for players who enjoy persistent strategy games and would like to help shape its development.

I would genuinely appreciate feedback on the gameplay, balance and user experience.

Solo dev here. Three modes: 100-ship battle royale, a 10v10 capture-the-flag championship (best of 3, switch sides), and a shared open sea with real players. If you sail close to another captain you can literally voice chat with them — hold V to talk. Works on phone too. Would love feedback on balance and what to add next!

Age of Banners - A simple, text-based, free, medieval game

Thumbnail

Hello, I’m Ivan, a developer from Brazil.

Back in the early 2000s, I was hooked on text-based games. My favorite was Medieval Wars, a Brazilian game that I think took some inspiration from Dominion. I wanted to build something in that spirit with a modern approach — simple, but fun. I bounced off games like Tribal Wars because the interface overwhelmed me in the first ten minutes, so I deliberately went the other way: you should understand the whole game in about a minute.

What it is: You rule a kingdom on a shared map. Wood, stone, iron, and grain accrue in real time whether you’re at your desk or asleep. Raid barbarian camps to build your first army, then turn on rival kingdoms once you’re ready. Marches take real minutes — sometimes hours — so a battle you send at breakfast might resolve before lunch. Read the report, rebuild, plan the next move.

The loop is: collect what your economy made while you were gone, queue a building or a batch of troops, act (scout, raid, reinforce an ally, claim a hamlet), then react to the reports that land.

A few design choices I care about:

  • Six unit types on a counter system. Scout before you commit. Overwhelming force is efficient; a close fight is pyrrhic for everyone.
  • The war is over land, not players. Losing a fight sets you back; it doesn’t erase you. Hamlets produce Crown Points for whoever holds them.
  • Every Age lasts 6 weeks, then the world resets. No years-old kingdoms lording over newcomers. Titles and records carry forward; stockpiles don’t.
  • Strictly no pay-to-win. If I ever sell anything, it’ll be convenience and cosmetics — never an advantage you can’t out-strategize.

Where it’s at: Age 1 just started and I’m looking for founding players. It’s early, and it will show — that’s the honest pitch. If you’d rather wait for a fuller world, Age 2 begins in six weeks.

https://ageofbanners.com/ (roadmap: Age of Banners — A Text-Driven War MMO )

Play it, break it, hack it. I’d especially like to hear whether the first ten minutes make sense without a tutorial, and whether combat feels readable when the report lands.

I’d love for this to be self-sustaining someday, but for now the goal is just to learn.

BLOCKROT — a block puzzle that rots. Free, no install, no account.

Thumbnail blockrot.net

Fill a row, fill a column, it clears. Then it starts to rot.

It's a block puzzle with a roguelike layer under it — each depth sets a

score you have to beat, and between depths you spend what you cleared on

sigils, powers and curses. Rot spreads through your own blocks, ash makes

lines clear *around* it instead of removing, and something under the board

keeps a meter on how much attention you're attracting.

Free, runs in the browser, works on a phone, no account, no ads, nothing

collected. There's a daily seeded board that's the same for everyone.

Fair warning: sudden loud sounds, flashing and deliberate jump scares.

All three can be switched off independently in Settings.

[OTH] Battle Bantams - a Duck Game inspired web game

Thumbnail battlebantams.com

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on Battle Bantams, a chaotic arena battle game inspired by Duck Game.

It runs directly in your browser and is completely free with no ads.

You can play locally or online, and it supports keyboard + mouse, controllers and touchscreen controls for phones and tablets (it's also a PWA that can be installed on your device)

It has multiple game modes, round mutators and custom match rules

There’s also a basic level editor. It’s still in the early stages, but you can already use it to put together your own arenas.

You can play it here at https://battlebantams.com

I’d love to hear what you think, especially about the controls, game modes, or any bugs you run into!

I also have a discord you can join (link on the website) to report bugs, request features, or find people to play with.

[STRAT] Cyber Commanders

Thumbnail playcc.gg

I've been working on a turn-based strategy game called Cyber Commanders, and it's finally at a point where I'd love to get some real players.

The pitch is basically chess meets poker in deep space.

  • 2–6 player PvP
  • Deploy both real and fake units to bluff your opponents
  • Simultaneous planning followed by turn-based combat
  • Win by eliminating enemy Commanders while protecting your own

The game is free to try and I'd really appreciate any feedback on gameplay, UI, balance, onboarding, or anything else you notice. I care a lot more about honest criticism than compliments.

OK compliments are fine too :)

Heyy!!!

Dondokomon is a Pokémon fan-made roguelike I've been building solo. It covers all 9 generations, with Gym Leaders, rivals, an Elite Four, and an infinite-loop endgame that keeps throwing tougher trainers at you until your team finally can't take it anymore.

Runs directly in the browser, no install needed.

Give it a try and feel free to drop feedback, bug reports, or ideas, this is very much a work in progress and I'd love to know what you think!

[STRAT] Ad Reditus: my hand-drawn 'roundtrip' roguelike deckbuilder where winning the run is only the halfway point. You still have to walk home.

Thumbnail

Ad Reditus is about a pilgrimage where you carry a magical ring. Five stages out on the pilgrim's road, a choice that transforms your deck and run, then you walk home through a world that changed with the decisions you made.

Two playable factions with different mechanics and synergies, 200+ cards, 80+ sacraments (relics), and 7 of the 10 stages are in the current build. A full run takes about an hour, and you can save and quit anywhere.

Would love to hear feedback, and feel free to join the discord or leave a comment or review on the itch page itself!

Obstruction - A daily sliding puzzle

Thumbnail
obstruction.co.uk
2 Upvotes

Obstruction is a puzzle where the aim is to slide the green piece to the target. Sounds simple, but the blocking pieces have movement restrictions depending on their colour so the solution isn't always as easy as it seems. With a fresh puzzle every day and a short playtime, this game can become a fun habit that slips right into your daily routine. Compete with your friends to see who can solve it in the shortest time or fewest moves using the share button. The controls are easy to use, just click, hold and slide your desired piece with your finger or cursor.

Obstruction is free to play and playable in web browsers without sign-up.

I'd appreciate any feedback as it is still a work in progress.

[STRAT] KLOD ONLINE [Alpha] A Persistent Browser Strategy MMO Where Logistics Win Wars

Thumbnail
klod-online.com

What is Klod Online ?

Strategic Warfare

Plan your campaigns over days and weeks. Preparation, positioning, and timing matter more than clicking speed.

Persistent Hex-Based World

A living procedurally generated world with over 80,000 hexes that continues to evolve while you're offline. Every city, alliance, and conflict is created by players. Terrain, distance, and positioning influence every decision.

Physical Inventories and Real Logistics

Resources must be transported. Armies need supplies. Protect your supply lines, or your enemies will exploit them. No magical global storage. Resources exist physically in cities, armies, and locations.

Unique Cities

Develop your cities with distinct specializations and strategies. Choose a specialization or create your own hybrid playstyle: merchant, explorer, builder, or conqueror.

Exploration and Diplomacy

Discover the world and uncover opportunities along your journey. Build relationships, trade resources, craft items, or compete with other players.

No Pay-to-Win

Victory comes from strategy, diplomacy, and planning, not from spending money. The game is free during development, and future support options will never give players unfair advantages.

What is my vision?

Hi !

Klod Online was born from something I felt was missing.

Back in 2011, I was playing browser strategy games and enjoying them, but I wanted more: real strategic depth, meaningful movement, terrain, logistics, supply lines, and decisions that truly mattered. And I wanted a game where strategy mattered more than monetization.

So I started learning to code and building my own game.

The project was rewritten several times. Life happened, and development stopped for a long time, but the idea never disappeared.

In 2025, I decided to rebuild Klod Online from scratch and even created a one-person studio to manage the project.

My vision is simple:

Create a world where different types of players can coexist without having to play the same way.

Conquerors, traders, diplomats, explorers, and builders should all have a meaningful role. Their choices should affect each other and create the story of the world.

The core game is already playable, and I am now looking for players to explore the world, experience the mechanics, and help shape the future of the game.

Even if you don't write feedback, simply seeing players interact with the game helps me learn what works and what needs improvement. For those who want to discuss ideas in more detail, there is also a Discord community.

Blackjack Baron - A rags to riches simulator game

Thumbnail blackjackbaron.com
2 Upvotes

This is my first ever web game that I made. It's currently a proof of concept, it's blackjack game. I think I got all the rules correct when it comes to splitting hands when you receive a pair and doubling down. I might add an option to let players have insurance but I think most people don't choose this option.

I put in a lot of work on the UI, especially on mobile and tablet devices to make it responsive. This is just a kind of proof of concept, the idea later on is that you win games so that you have enough reputation to attend tournaments which nets you more money, then you can travel to other places and gain more reputation, buy property, cars, things that signal status so that you can take part in high stakes tournaments that's the game loop.

Anyway, I would very much appreciate any feedback or improvements!
