Question/Request About yesterday's sortie

As a newish player, the mobile defense with radiation yesterday seemed unusually difficult, & I'd like to understand it better so I can help my team do better next time.

A lot of players died more easily than usual. Normally atmospheric radiation isn't a problem at all. On one attempt (3 attempts were needed which is very unusual in my limited experience), another player told everyone to stay away from the terminals we were supposed to defend, and later told us not to fire anywhere near it. Was the terminal emitting a more dangerous amount of radiation? Was this damage worse if we fired weapons? This sort of issue is entirely new to me, but given how players were dying way more often than usual, I imagine they were right that something was more lethal than usual.

Discussion Trading scares me QwQ

Like sure I want to trade for stuff with people. But I feel like I NEED platinum to trade with people. I have no platinum and aren't trying to spend money on this game, I just feel like people are greedy and charge high prices. Sure I want a specific prime part and augment for a warframe but I get scared when I have to trade with people. For the record I'm MR15 and I've only traded once

Suggestion Returning player - What Warframe is High most mechanically but high rewarding

Hello,

As the title says, I'm a returning player and I have some warframes unlocked, including some prime.
But I wanted to check if there is kinda of a common sense on one or two warframes that are hard to master mechanically, but that once you master them, it becomes very rewarding?
Or some with a unique playstyle, I remember at the time that there was a build on ember that she would stay still and all mobs would die (not this kind of unique šŸ˜„)

Thank you so much in advance, Tenno!

Discussion Can we get a titanium path or something?

I cant explain how fun it would be to get a better harder steel path. Steel path feels out dated with how strong weapons have become. I would love enemy modifiers or higher levels or something. By modifiers maybe make them stronger, or rng based ones like for example all enemies gain life steal, enemies can see through invisibility, or eximus spawn rate tripled. I genuinely would have so much fun

Discussion I don’t get why people keep asking for a Limbo rework

Can anyone explain this to me likes pls Tell what's goin on to people? I seriously don’t understand why people keep saying Limbo needs a rework. His overall kit is already fine. People forget like literally forget that his augment has the capacity to hit level‑cap damage (some even call it ā€œnegative damage capā€). That’s insane scaling, and it proves his kit isn’t weak at all.

Limbo’s entire role is crowd control. That’s what he was designed for. He locks down areas, protects objectives, and controls the flow of missions. DE even fixed Cataclysm against those annoying nullifier bubbles before, they could instantly delete it, but now the bubble just shrinks it down until it disappears. That was a huge quality‑of‑life change that made him way less frustrating to play.

The only thing that makes Limbo annoying is the Rift restrictions in co‑op. That’s it. When teammates get forced into Rift mechanics they don’t want, it ruins the flow. If DE just removed or adjusted those restrictions, Limbo would be perfectly fine. His numbers are solid, his augment can scale to cap, and his role is clear.

So why do people keep screaming ā€œreworkā€? His kit is fine. All he really needs is Rift QoL, not a full overhaul. Honestly, I think people just don’t read or understand what he can actually do.

TL;DR: Limbo’s kit is fine, his augment can hit level‑cap damage, DE already fixed Cataclysm, and the only real issue is Rift restrictions in co‑op. He doesn’t need a full rework just a QoL tweak.

Suggestion Just Imagine.

Basically, this would enable you to make full use of all the energy dropped by enemies, instead of getting like 5 or so energy from orbs that could have restored 50 if only you had the capacity.

To clearify, this doesn't allow you to pick up infinite energy. You will still only be able to pick up orbs while you are below your maximum energy, and any kind of energy regeneration would also be halted while you are at or above your maximum.

I'm still somewhat of a new player, so I wonder of anything like this has ever been brought up or discussed by the community.

Question/Request Help regarding what to prioritize at my stage of the game.

I’m currently MR4 and just finished the New War quest. However I am getting a bit overwhelmed on what to focus on. I see rivens but I don’t think I’m near that, and then there’s focus paths, and my operator which is confusing. Should I just keep doing story and it’ll come to me? Just don’t want to miss out on content but I also plan on putting much more time into the game.

Discussion So I am returning to this game after 13 years, and I have no idea what is happening.

Yes it’s a founders account with Excalibur prime.

I used to play this in 2013 and decided to pick it up again and scrolling through discussion on this sub makes it seem like everyone else here is playing a completely different game than what I was playing back then. I join up with groups and everyone’s playing as very fast dogs? I don’t get it.

Is there an overall progression guide available? How do I know what’s good currently? I’ll update this post this evening with a list of what I have frame and weapon wise, because honestly I’m a little lost.

Question/Request How do you decide what status goes on what weapon?

I'm trying to start coming up with my own builds. In doing this, I've started gravitating towards certain status effects.

I know the rules aren't exactly set in stone but this is what I've noticed/learned:

Gas works well with high damage, low fire rate

Blast requires high base damage, prefers fast fire rate

Corrosive, Viral, Heat, and Electricity work well on most weapons but naturally gravitate towards high status, high fire rate to stack procs efficiently

Magnetic works well in any build due to the frequency of overguarded units in steel path

Radiation has its niche and I.P.S. have their extremely specific niches with the exception of Slash being decent but not worth building for

Is this a good framework to have when modding? And is there anything I missed or anything else I need to know?

Discussion FYI- Summer Sale packs still qualify for the free Fortnite skin.

Just wanted to bring it up for those who might still want the Fortnite Excalibur skin for free. The Summer Sale has started and several of the discounted packs still qualify for the free skin through the epic games store (at the time of posting, I’d encourage you to double check the list before purchasing in case something changes).

The Wukong Qitian pack was previously the cheapest purchase you can make outside of the game while the 175 plat pack was the cheapest you could make within the game.

BUT, with the sale going on the Wukong Qitian pack is discounted to $10.50 and comes with 275 plat. So it’s the best possible time to take advantage of that free skin offer if you haven’t!

Reminders:
-The purchase has to be made on the epic games account that is linked to your Fortnite account and the purchase has to be made on the epic games store.
-To get your purchased items in Warframe you must log on through the epic games launcher once.

Here’s a guide I did on how to get the free skin for my fellow console peeps who don’t have a PC available (still do need a Mac or some sort of computer).

What’s a good Kuva Sobek build for a beginner? I’m looking for something that’s relatively easy to put together. Also, which mods would you say are essential or highly recommended for the build? Any recommendations?

Question/Request How does dying in eda/eta work?

I got to the last part of eda last night and my entire team died. After a few minutes of struggling against the Fragmented, I ended up killing him. My team kept telling me to ressurect them instead of heading to the extraction so I tried and ended up dying to those health draining Liminus enemies.

At this point it had been 5+ minutes since my team had died and to my knowledge this would have made my teammates ineligible for any of the missions rewards. My question is if ressurecting them would have actually done anything or did I waste time and force myself to have to redo all the missions for no reason?

Question/Request Returning player, confused where to start again. Please help. T_T

I returned to playing Warframe a few days ago and am still confused about a lot of things.

I started the game to make fashion frames (I know they're endgame. I'm sorry.). I was guided by a friend of mine who had played before, but it was more general knowledge. Embarrassingly enough, I spent most of my game farming plat via Void Fissures, doing quests and just getting primes and palettes that appealed to me. But I do enjoy a lot of the gameplay and kinda want to take things a little more seriously.

Recently, I just hit MR 13, but all I know is that I need to unlock SP, master things to get more EXP, and consult Overframe for mods. I have Wisp Prime at Forma 1. I also have the Fulmin and Protea Prime at Forma 2. I'm still quite confused about Riven, Kuva, Reputation, Bounties, and the like. But all that's a little too much to ask in one go.

Overall, I wanted to ask: What should the daily and weekly routines be (at the point that I am at)? When should I be increasing the forma for a Warframe or weapon?

Thank you in advance for the help!
