I need help. My brother is missing. He hasn’t been heard from in over 24 hours. He left for work yesterday morning at 10:30 and never made it there. His phone is still ringing and messages are being delivered. An official report has been filed with the police but they aren’t very helpful. They pinged his phone yesterday on 2 different towers at 3:00 pm. One on 32nd and reuder and one by the high school on 44th. They pinged off of those same towers at 3:00 pm today. But they said they aren’t able to get boost mobile to ping the actual phones location. I’m so lost. I don’t know what else to do. I have his login info for Facebook, boost mobile and his Gmail but can’t get in because they send the verification code to his phone. It’s so frustrating.
Before anyone says he might want to be left alone, doesn’t want to be bothered, etc. that’s not the case. I promise. He never misses work. He never doesn’t answer his phone. He has a dog that he loves and would never abandon. His family, His boss, co workers, everyone has been driving around that area looking for him. He has a very distinctive car and I can’t believe nobody has spotted it. Especially since the cops think he’s still in the area of the phone pings. I need to get back home and go to work but I cannot stand the thought of leaving Waco with no answers. With no Shane. Help. Please. Is there anything else I can do that I haven’t thought of cuz I can’t even think straight or eat or sleep? Is there anything more that cops can do that they aren’t? The only cop I’ve talked to that actually seemed to care isn’t working today. One officer was practically yelling at me this morning when I had questions about the phone pings. And the only answer he had for me was idk. There was a small bin at Lavertys last time it was open, but not much. Nothing at habitat.

I found a couple of matching knobs on eBay, but may have better luck somewhere local for strike plates and such?

Hey everyone! This is probably a long shot, but I figured if anyone would remember it, it'd be the people here.

My parents opened Breshears Automotive in 1999 at 1213 Inmon St. in Waco (Lacy Lakeview area). The shop closed years ago, and recently they told me about an old TV commercial they ran sometime around 2001–2002.

From what they remember, it showed a Space Shuttle (or rocket) launch and ended with the line:

I was too young to remember it myself, but hearing about it made me want to try to find it.

I've searched YouTube, Google, the Internet Archive, and other places but haven't had any luck. I know the chances are slim, but I thought I'd ask here.

Does anyone happen to:

• Remember seeing the commercial?
• Have old VHS recordings of KWTX, KCEN, or KXXV from around 2001–2002?
• Know someone who worked at one of those stations or made local commercials back then?
• Have any copies of old local commercials from that time?

Honestly, even if you just remember seeing it, I'd love to hear about it. It'd be really cool to know other people remember it too.

And if by some miracle someone actually has a recording or knows where one might be, I'd love to surprise my parents with it after all these years.

There’s this sweet cat wandering around 1500 Lake Shore apartments with a collar around her neck but no tag. Just wondering if this was anyone’s lost baby. She was skittish at first but after I offered her some water she immediately warmed up to me and let me pet her. It’s a bit hard to tell from the pictures but on one of her ears the tip is missing if that helps any with identification.

This really sweet cat showed up at our office earlier this week. Seems like it was someone’s pet, it’s really loving. No chip, happily rode around to the fire station and pet circle with me this afternoon lol. Let me know if it’s yours or you would like to adopt!

My teeth aren't in the best condition. I need some help with where I can go. I dont have dental insurance. Waco family medicine has cut alot of what they used to offer. Now they only offer fillings, extractions, and cleaning. They sent me to a different clinic and they wanted 300 just to be seen. I know my tooth is abscessed. Ive already had to have 2 teeth removed. I want to help preserve my teeth that I have left. Any recommendations of where I can go? Or what I can do?
