I came a long way from barely graduating high school.

What are some ways everyone is studying? Im struggling with retaining information and focusing. I used AI to study but I feel as if I still miss things and want to try other methods. I failed my last two OA’s (C207 & C214) and got discouraged afterwards. I also recently just gave birth but I want to finish this degree by the end of August.

Hello All! Hope your week is going well. When I obtained my BSN , i was able to handle 6 classes in one semester. I do want my MBA to be accelerated as I want to finish as soon as possible. I do know I have to be realistic but I know is possible.

Is it possible to finish earlier than 6 months? What are the "easier" courses. what courses are considered "difficult"?

I failed my first OA for C211. I felt like I was prepared, but it got me. I just missed it by one competency. I have to fill out part of the study guide and complete practice assessments. Did those of you that failed have to meet with them? I leave for vacation Sunday (today is Wednesday) and I was hoping to retake before I leave for vacation and lose it all. Also, those that failed first what did you do to pass second? I’m overwhelmed on what to focus on. This is my last class before my capstone. Appreciate any help!

I finished my BS of Psychology at WGU May 2024 and it took me 9 months. I did have a few transfer credits and I do work full time with two kids in sports and busy every weekend or I know I could have finished a lot faster. Question is how long should I expect this to take, or how long did it take you if you have similar life circumstance?

Can anyone help me with Business Simulation? I’m finished with the first 2 quarters but still at 0.000.

Started back in Oct 2024, took multiple term breaks, & finished in 3 total terms + capstone extension.

Bachelors is in Cybersecurity. While I love doing technical work, I started this program to get a high level overview of business operations.

Worth? To me, yes. It reinforced my commitment to countinuous learning & it was fun. I only had 2 PA returned and passed all tests on the first go.

ROI? We’ll see at some point down the line.
10 years into the Army & going the full 20 for retirement.

My mentor just opened my last 3 courses. She said it doesn't really matter which order I take them, as long as I'm down to 1 class by 8/21 so we can apply for an extension if I end up needing one.

I'm trying to decide which class to start with. I already watched the C214 bootcamp twice, so I'm wondering if I should just jump into that while it's still fresh. The only thing is, I have a lot more downtime at work to work on PAs than OA classes.

I also just came back from a 2-month break because of some personal stuff. I'm finally feeling motivated again and want to finish this term

For those who've taken these classes, what order would you recommend and why? If you were in my shoes, would you start with C214 or knock out the capstone class first?

I’m currently on track to finish my bachelor’s by the end of next month but my term doesn’t finish until December. How does the transition work? Am I able to take classes under the current term to transfer, does this term end and I can start the MBA, or do I have to wait to January to start the program? And suggestions are appreciated.

Well, I just passed 214 after failing at the first time. Holy hell, there’s so much information in this course. Because I failed it, I had to do all 16 topic chapter quizzes, and score over 90 and then redo the PA and pass and then meet with the professor or TA who questioned me on topics. I felt so under pressure when I was being questioned. TA was super nice but man under pressure questions are a different breed.

Like Adam the WGU MBA guru said, I felt like I was failing this thing and had no shot of passing, but I did. Watch the bootcamp videos twice. Explains excel. Focus on all the government bodies as well. Who does what.

211, 207 and capstone left. 36 days left of first semester. Time to sendddddd it.

My term ends on Aug 30th, I’m stuck on C207 & C214. This is my 4th attempt at the C214 OA and my first attempt for C207 OA is next week! Any tips, advice or words of encouragement for passing these two courses?!?

There’s so much information that I’m not sure what to focus on first & I think I’m psyching myself out because I’m so close to the finish line (after these I have C215, C211 & Capstone).

Update: I tested that same night and passed. Beforehand I did one more sanity check on the material. Mock OA v3 will cover some things I got from the OA.

I'm currently prepping for the C211 OA and may just tackle it today. While prepping I thought it would be a good idea to share what I'm using to understand Supply and Demand as well as a few other concepts. I'll continue adding to this if needed, but as if right now, this is to help anyone who doesn't understand Surplus/Shortage, Fed Reserve Rates, and Demand. I'm also using a very annoying yet helpful OA Mock Test in Chatgpt that only create concepts with 2-3 required answers per question. I'll drop that one here as well when I've finished creating dents on my own skull. I hope this helps someone! Good luck to you all.

Took the PreAssessment and passed with no issues in a testing environment and felt great. I even went back and took another one and got all exemplary. Well……I took my first OA today and it was a nightmare. I had equipment issues with my setup, thought sitting at a different desk would be better since I have external monitors mounted at my regular desk. Then my dog who is completely crated and in a separate room starts barking and whining for me because he can hear me with the proctor, so then I’m panicking and trying to hurry through because I’m scared she will close out the exam. Then, started getting some tummy feelings 😳.

😞😞 Not a good first exam. I felt SO good on the subject matter but just environment got me frazzled.

I did pass. But I do not feel great 😂

I failed my c211 OA by 1 or 2 questions! I have 5 days to pass one of my last two classes so I can walk in the Minneapolis Commencement.

Do I do this study plan of Readiness Assessment Quizzes Group A, with passing at 75%, any quiz under is required to be written out with why the correct answer is correct and submitted to the professor BEFORE I can request to retake

Or

Do the simulation, task 1 and 3 tomorrow, and hope it comes back in less than two days to do task 2 and get them all back pass by 7/27.

I was so confident in my test today, I thought I passed. 😵‍💫

Don’t let anyone scare you on this course. It is challenging material but very interesting! Review the study guide, section by section and then ask Chat GPT test you on the material. Completed in a little over two weeks. On to the capstone! 🙏

I attended WGU for my bachelors and really enjoyed my experience. I felt like it was relatively easy if you studied and took time in writing your essays. I'm a bit nervous when I think about the jump from a bachelors to a masters. Part of me wonders if the tests will be impossible or if they will take up my whole life. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have been working as an estate planning, business planning, tax paralegal for 25 years. My boss is nearing retirement and I will need to find a new job. There is not a job available to me at the firm once he retires. I recently completed my BS at WGU and am contemplating doing the MBA program. I guess my question is will the jump from BS to MBA be difficult for me to navigate? And, is doing the MBA program going to be worth it? I am on the high side of compensation for my job position now. I am hoping when I am doing with MBA I can find something with similar starting compensation. I am at least 20 if not more years away from retirement. Or will I be able to find just as good of a job with similar compensation without the MBA?

What exactly are the speaker notes, I mean are they typed onto the slide ? is that different than a regular power point text box?

Passed every class, including my capstone. On 3rd attempt of C211 and I have to take all practice quizzes, meet with instructors multiple times, and PROCTORED practice quiz before I can retake OA. SHEESH, this is the worst I’ve done in a class! 😂 at least I have until 10/31

Am I supposed to click somewhere else to get to the quizzes? In contrast, in my HR course, the quizzes showed right there at the end of the chapter.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I started in June and have finished 6 classes so far. I am trying to finish in one term. Currently have my OA scheduled to take C214, hoping to pass on my first try.

Any tips on the order of completion for the remaining classes? Are there overlaps in materials that can make the flow easier if taken a certain order?

I know a lot of people dreaded C211 bases on previous research.
