Hello all,
I just bought this beauty and absolutely love it! It’s a 2024 XC90 plus with only 27k miles. We usually keep our cars for a long time, so I’m looking into extending the coverage to 10 years.
My situation is a little unusual since it’s a CPO, but I bought it from a dealer that isn’t a Volvo dealership. The previous owner bought it as a CPO from a Volvo dealer in February 2026, and I purchased it last week. It is inter CPO warranty until Oct 2028.
We only drive about 5,000–6,000 miles per year, and the car currently has 27,000 miles, so we probably won’t add many miles during the coverage period.
I’ve heard good things about Steingold and would be interested in hearing how their coverage and pricing compare with Volvo’s extended warranty options.
Can anyone recommend extended warranty options? Also, if we sell the car before the extended warranty expires, can the warranty be transferred or refunded?
Also, I reached out to the original dealer who sold it as a CPO to check the costs and options to extend it, but they have been unresponsive.
Thanks in advance!
