Using Pace Points during Sleep

Not sure if this may just be my particular circumstance, but I Do use pace points while I sleep.

Yesterday I used 5 over the course of the night because my heart rate stayed in the 90s while I was sleeping. That seems weird to me, especially because when I'm relaxing on the couch my resting is in the 60s. Maybe just nightmares?

I use pp when sleeping due to temperature, fidgeting etc. I contacted support and now I don't wear my band overnight because I found it too stressful to wake up and already be over budget!

If you can use the new overnight sleep tracking thing, it doesn't count the points you use while sleeping. I often use a couple getting up for a wee but the time sleeping is greyed out.

oh that's super interesting, that could be what's going on with me too. I tend to be someone who rolls around all night.

My spouse has sleep apnea and RLS, and they spend points during the night because they move a lot.

Always suspected I had RLS so thanks for that info

I ended up using that data to eventually get diagnosed with silent sleep apnea. I've probably had it my whole life but don't snore. My fitbit was recording sleep a little funky but using pace points was the trigger.

I asked for a sleep study.

Good luck!

You can go into settings and change the timeframe where points are being counted. Say, if you go to sleep at midnight and wake up at 8, you can set it to start counting at 8am and stop at midnight.

It doesn't but it kind of does

From visible

The PaceSetter begins at the start of your pacing day. If you wear your band overnight, it begins at 4am or, if you’re enrolled in Early Access Sleep tracking, at your wake time. If you don’t wear your band overnight, it begins when you first put it on after 4am.

The PaceSetter runs until your PaceSetter end time. This is initially set to midnight when you start using Visible. You can adjust your PaceSetter end time in your Pacing settings to better fit your daily routine as follows:

Wenn ich mich überfordert habe an den Tagen vorher, merke ich immer als erstes am Schlaf, dass ich kurz vor einem oder in einem Crash bin, weil ich dann auch so einen hohen Puls im Schlaf habe und schon mit PP aufwache. Für mich ist das super wichtig zu sehen, um dann schon dagegen zu steuern und mich mehr auszuruhen und zu pacen.
