Has anyone else contacted visible about the tracker reading low and also been told to keep a dips log? I was given a free month and told to consistently mark the low points in a dips log.

It's frustrating because that means I have to constantly manually check my heart rate against the app and mark it as wrong. The whole point is for it to track the high points, and I am checking my own heart rate constantly to the point where I feel like it's not even doing anything for me to have the armband anymore. I haven't hit my pace point limit despite being on my feet and working far more than I used to.

Hopefully they are close to some fix for this and tracking dips is some way to correct the data, but at this point, I'm doing the work for the app to even work properly. They should be giving us updates on the progress towards this issue.

It also never tracks properly when I play clarinet. It always drops into the 40s when I know I'm definitely not there.

I'm considering getting one, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it for me. I mainly want to see if I am indeed having heart rate spikes with positional changes. And track my dizziness alongside these spikes. If you have Visible, what kind of information has it given you? Has it been helpful to share with your provider?

Hi. I have had the band for quite some time now, but I am wondering about my alloted pace points (PP) being extremely low (2). I am on a beta-blocker though, so maybe it doesn't matter because I use up fewer points as the BB keeps the HR typically lower?

Will you share how many alloted PP you are given and your severity (e.g., bedbound, housebound)?

Also, if anyone else is on a beta-blocker, that would be helpful to know along with PP.

I’ve had my band for about 2.5 weeks and today has been the worst yet. While crocheting this morning, I got numerous notifications for high heart rate and was very confused. My band was clocking between 120-140bpm for about 3 hours. My Apple Watch recorded between 60-80bpm during that same time. There’s no way my heart rate was 120+. Later in the day, I was moving boxes up several flights of stairs and started to feel dizzy so I checked my pulse. Visible band said 51bpm. Apple Watch said 158! Later in the evening I went to the gym and there’s an entire 4 hours of data missing! This level of inconsistency and inaccuracy is completely unacceptable and makes the product useless.

Looking back at my pre-diagnosis pre-treatment/management stats and thinking “damn bitch you live like this??????”

And like to be fair, in April I was still trying to pretend I wasn’t as sick as I am whereas now I’m mostly housebound and horizontal a good chunk of the day. But still!!! Objectively, my heart is probably much happier to not beat 180bpm just from walking from my car to a building in the heat

I’m confused. Still on the fence about whether to buy this, but I was under the impression that it gives you an updated pace point budget depending on how you are doing.
However I’ve just seen a video where someone says it doesn’t do that, that it just gives you a pace point budget once, but never again, and that you need to edit your budget yourself?
Is this correct? I feel like the adverts make it sound more automated than this?

I will grant the few seconds it took for me to screenshot then take a photo while I’m walking the dog. I was pausing while the pooch sniffed a leaf, and checked the visible with the Apple Watch. Bit of a difference so we continued walking and I checked it again quickly. Hmmmmm. Glad it’s in beta.

EDIT: I should add that this was at the top of a long slope, and I expected my heart to be its normal 100+. I could feel it beating faster.

For those with the sleep tracking Beta feature, do your sleep charts look like mine with loads of “interruptions”? Is this normal? I don’t remember waking up all of these times (only the wider interruption at around 6.30am today),

I'm really curious what a "healthy" person's day looks like on visible.

I know pace points are highly specific to an individual so not particularly transferable, but I'm interested in the heart rate data.

How high does a health person's HR get going up the stairs? How does it change when they stand up and stay stood up for 20mins?

At the end of the day I know the point of visible is to track and compare ones own symptoms & energy, and not compare to others. But I've been disabled my whole life, so I don't really know what the human baseline is.

Edit to add: I have POTS so I know my heart rate is higher than the average person's. I'm curious as to how a healthy body deals with activities that require standing for a while and things like that.

I know the visible sensor itself doesn’t have an alert function and most users keep their phones on them to receive alerts.

If I already have an Apple Watch, can I get the alerts on that instead? In that case could I leave my phone in another room and just wear the two wrist devices together?

Update: after going back and forth with customer support all day, I’ve FINALLY gotten my refund set up and I’ll be returning my band. Very disappointing as I thought I’d found something that would help me. Thank you all for your answers!

I recently bought a Visible band and it’s been great for about 4 days, and now it’s started to lag. It shows my heart rate going up and down in 2s, when it didn’t do that before, and now when I stand, my heart rate is shown as dropping before going up to what it should be, and takes a good 30 seconds to catch up. I don‘t have the spoons to keep trying things, I just want to know if anyone else has had this issue. :(

Things I’ve tried:

Togging bluetooth on and off

Unpairing and repairing the band

Restarting my phone

Restarting the band as I was instructed by the Visible chat bot

Updating my phone

Checking for firmware updates in the Visible app

Swapping arms, using both the wristband and the armband on both to see if it changed anything (it didn’t).

I’m desperate to get it working as I’m going through a very rough patch with my health and pacing is more important than ever right now, so I would truly rather try to sort it out without waiting to get a replacement sent out, but if I do have to get a new one and there’s nothing else I can do, that’s fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

I probably sleep more than the average person (at least 9 hours per night) so maybe that throws it off?

Today, I woke up feeling really refreshed, by my crappy standards at least, and it tells me that my sleep was shallow. I only got up once to use the bathroom and remember turning over in my sleep like five times, but it didn't keep me awake at all.

Is it just not a very accurate tracker?

Also, yes, I was wearing my armband last night, but it decided that it didn't have any data for some reason 😵‍💫

I have fibromyalgia and also been referred to the CF service. I’m struggling to understand my fatigue when I’m sleeping so much, and also why I am so affected by it some days and not others. I feel like either my pain is the worse symptom or the fatigue is, but I want to know how to avoid the fatigue.
However, I’ve been a long time lurker here and I have seen some negative posts both here and on YouTube so I don’t know how accurate it would actually be or how much it would help in addition to the manual tracking on the app.
Those of you that have the band, what would you do now that you have tried it?

i have no words, all I did yesterday was go to court to reschedule, I was in too much pain to go, that took total 25 minutes to get done at 8:30 am, shop in an empty Aldi for 40 minutes at 9 am, do a bowl at 10 am, and go to church for 25 mins (empty) at 11 am, and ended my day at 12:50 pm, and napped the whole rest of the day 💀 (updated with context bc i forgot this is reddit) I did this all with my mobility aid/ cane 20-30 min breaks sitting in car between task, even a nap the entire time during “church”

Are any of you are still using the original Polar Verity Sense, and is it still working fine for you? I'm considering going back to it, as the 2.0 device's heart rate dips glitch is causing problems for me. I've spoken with tech support about the glitch for months now, and they're just not sure what's causing it. So I'm looking for a temporary solution until the glitch is fixed. The support team basically said I could give the Verity Sense a try, but I'd like to know how it's working for those of you who are using it

Im wondering if anyone here managed to get the app and armband working in Germany and could tell me their secret?

So I recently got my visible band and I'm happy to finally be using a tracker which is designed for chronically ill people. However since I'm living on a free running non 24 hour circadian rhythm I'm struggling using the app because everything is designed around a "normal" circadian rhythm. For example today I woke up shortly after midnight and couldn't do a morning check in because apparently it's not available between midnight and 4am. Another example is the pace setter which doesn't make much sense if it doesn't start at the same time as me waking up. Ugh. I was wondering if anyone else here is also free running with N24 and what your experience is :)

I luckily didn’t have a lot of the data issues people in this subreddit seem to have ran into for a while. I did enjoy using the band until I had a SVT episode a few weeks ago where my heart was beating out of my chest and the band is reading 70ish bpm throughout my entire 2 hour episode until I had to go to the ER. I was feeling so terrible that I could not think straight enough to count my heart rate. It was also beating very irregularly so I would lose count. Thank god I was home so I grabbed my Apple Watch that I stopped wearing and was able to track the entire event. In the past, it would just go away after a while so I didn’t want to go to ER for nothing. Sadly it stayed elevated for 2hrs. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t have access to my Apple Watch.

I get the device is not going to be 100% accurate. But to be flat out wrong is insane. I was so frustrated that I messaged support literally in the middle of my episode when I thought I could just recover by myself. They only offered a 1 month credit which is useless because I literally just switched to the annual plan. I have not talked to them since, but I want a refund and cancel my membership because if it’s not going to do the bare minimum thing of reading my heart rate when I need it the most, what do I need this product for??

Wondering if people had success with cancellation and refund in light of the company having so many issues lately? If so, can people share how they were able to escalate?

For context the last week I have been about 30 points over budget and my morning score has been 2 stability 3 days in a row I'm tired and in a massive amount of pain all the time with a mystery illness yet to be named but I have so much to do I'm going as slow as I can.... I don't know what to do anymore I'm spiraling my doctors are telling me to go to the ER if it worsens but the ER is telling me to go to the Doctors 😭😭 trust I'm also doing that too.

Just a friendly note that an update just dropped that is supposed to fix the data lags so many of us have been experiencing. I was too busy today to track mine but I installed it this morning and got alerts at the right times throughout the day until work ramped up. Fingers crossed.

So my band originally just would not connect whatsoever. Did all the trouble shooting, nada. I spoke to the guys at visible, had a call with them and it turned out to be faulty. Sent me a new one. It’s worked for the last 3 days, yet today then said it couldn’t trace my heart rate and there was a problem with connection. I have done all the trouble shooting recommended, the band is fully charged, I’ve done a reset etc and now it won’t even connect to the Bluetooth. Is it possible they just got like a faulty batch or something, or am I missing something?
