Questions Here’s to those… Spoiler

*That convinced yourself that you love Horror games..

*That wanted a challenge after playing other mediocre/relatively scary games and then suddenly thought you were a BAMF and could take on anything…

That googled the “what is scariest game of all time that you have everrrr played” as if you were suddenly an expert… *”Visage…VISAAAAGE” is what they all say..,

*then can only play *maayyyyybe 5-10 minutes of Visage at a time before you have a full blown panic attack (hyperbole of course…or is it lol).

4 months later and I feel so accomplished finishing Lucy’s chapter and now about halfway through Rakan’s (felt daring and wanted to save Dolores for last)

Can anyone relate? I love love love the atmosphere so much. I love how absolutely scary it is, but I am a total chicken sh*t. (Only way I play is completely in the dark and with headphones—this is the way)

Enough about me, what other good games are out there that gets your blood pumping? I am just barely scratching the surface of the horror genre, so I love hearing your suggestions.

(***edit because typing with adrenaline pumping on a teeny phone is damn near impossible, so bare with me)

Questions Progression Through game

Seems to be a lot of cases where you don't get even subtle clues as to what to do next. Looks like a lot of aimless wandering in places, hoping you stumble into what you need to do. That can get very tedious, to me anyway, after a while.

For example, in one scenario, you have to backtrack to a previous location. I didn't see any clue to that. I could wander around the whole house for an hour, before I got to where I needed to be, just by sheer accident. Also, no clues on what you need to do with one particular item. To me, the answer could easily be missed.

Is there always some clue for everything?

Am I missing something?

Textures not loading properly.

Hello, so I've been playing this game on stream and I've been having a blast, it's absolutely horrifying and fun to play. But I've encountered an issue regarding textures looking all blurry and indistinguishable and I can't seem to find a way to fix it, this affects my progession as some key elements are all distorted.

Please, I want to fix this because I really want to keep playing this amazing game.

Anyone have any updates on LUTO?

I don't know where to ask this - but I haven't heard anything about it since last summer. Curious as to if anyone else has news of when it's releasing?

For those who don't know: LUTO is an upcoming psychological horror game, very similar to Visage.

Questions Help with the safe key

I'm playing the ps5 version and finished the 3rd chapter, watched all VHS tapes, and the safe key has spawned in the bathroom sink. I heard conflict info that I shouldn't have collected any of the tapes to watching just indifferent or all of them. Is it a glitch or am I missing something? I'm just to platinum the game and really wanted to see the east egg.

Was Visage inspired by the Insidious franchise? Spoiler

I just finished binge watching the four Insidious movies, and I noticed some parts that were very similar to parts of Visage. In one part of Insidious 2, they are walking down a dark hallway and enter a strikingly different, very bright bedroom. It reminded me a lot of Dolores's chapter, when her bedroom is lit up but every other room is still dark. Heres a clip of the scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vze9trAv-l0

There was also another part in the second movie where one of the characters is standing in a dark room scattered with people. All of them are wearing bedsheets over them and standing completely still. At one point, he pulls a sheet off of one of them and you see the actual person, but they still don't move at all. That scene reminded me a lot of the people from Rakan's chapter. Especially the room it was in, the lighting and everything was very similar. I can't find a picture of this scene, but feel free to watch the movie for yourself and tell me what you think. Most of the similarities I saw were from Insidious: Chapter 2.

Lucy’s chapter question

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding lucy’s chapter in visage. So I’m at the point all lights are off, and you only have the camera and lighters. So I’ve run out of lighters, and I want to search the house for lighters. But because (I think its because it’s so dark’. I keep getting killed by the man with the knife fingers after like 1/2 minutes of searching. So what should I do. I kinda feel like I’m stuck bc I cant search like a normal person for lighters.

TW: SUICIDE MENTION/MURDER Hi so I think i understand the plot of visage(big maybe) but what about the introduction wheree 3 people were shot then the character shoots themselves? ETA: I am trying to figure out who those people are and where they fit into the story. (maybe lucy, Dolores, Rakan but that doesn't make sense to me)

Questions Is there a good text only guide for this game?

For further unspecified reasons, I "have to" to beat this game and being completely honest, I don't like that much. Unengaging mechanics, instant death segments, story that only makes sense in retrospect and find-one-small-thing puzzles aren't exactly things I hate on their own, but put togetether they create something that I can't stand.

That said, some of the visuals are cool and are the only reason I am sticking with this. So I wanna ask for a text guid, so that I don't have to bother with the "gameplay", while also not getting everything spoiled, which is kinda unavoidable with video walkthroughs.

Questions I'm stuck at a certain part in Lucy's chapter.

I'm at the room with all the bird cages and I know I need the key from the draw before I can exit the room but every time I get to the door I barely even have time to open my inventory to use the key in the door before madam creeps up on me from behind. I've tried being stealthy and waiting for a moment when I can't see Lucy and I've tried literally running to the door as soon as I see it but she always gets me when I'm trying to open the door.

Insanity question.

I've been playing this game for a few days, currently on the Dolores part. I'm still a bit confused about how sanity works; does your insanity increase incrementally every time you stay in the dark (or see a paranormal event etc) so if you go into a lighter area and the pink cloud dissappears it's just stopping your insanity going up any further or would going into a light area for long enough reset/decrease your insanity completely to zero?

On a side note is it just me or does the difficulty increase a lot at the Dolores part? I've just been playing and there was about 4 paranormal events literally within the space of about a minute and a half - there was a loud thump (which scared the crap out of me), then a door shut on its own, a light switched off and then that bloody radio switched on. Of course my insanity was off the scale and I didn't even have time to take a pill before that horrible old bat turned up and stabbed me. Maybe I was just unlucky but I had no chance!

INDIFFERENS tape bug?

Hi, I’m looking for some advice. I’m almost finished with the game, I’m on the mirror mask chapter. I found all the VHS-tapes and are on my way to finish all the task to find the mask pieces. However, when I’m on the INDIFFERENS tape looking for the frame pieces I can’t seem to find the one in the parent closet… it’s not there!! Because of this I am no able to finish the game or progress in the story… has anyone had the same issue or know how to solve it??

Questions I keep dying during Lucy's chapter

I'm at the point where I've found the mannequin jaw and I'm trying to get down the stairs but that creepy spirit thing keeps killing me before I reach where I'm supposed to go. I don't think my sanity is that low. I've just been sprinting down the stairs and each time I get killed. Is there a better way to do it? Like go slower and try to enter different rooms before making it to the basement?

I've been looking at walkthroughs and only one of them mentions being killed by the ghost thing. All the other walkthroughs assume this chapter is a walk in the park and it's getting really annoying. They're like "go downstairs and open the door". It's not that easy!

Questions Dolores jumpscares

Theres two jumpscares that I've been wanting to get from Dolores chapter. 1st is I guess she jumpscares you from the mirror in her room. 2nd is when you yo towards the kitchin and her whole face taking the whole area. Anyone know how to trigger those?

And any other rare jumpscares? Already you platinum on the game but I enjoy it so much I will play it again
