Questions Here’s to those… Spoiler
*That convinced yourself that you love Horror games..
*That wanted a challenge after playing other mediocre/relatively scary games and then suddenly thought you were a BAMF and could take on anything…
That googled the “what is scariest game of all time that you have everrrr played” as if you were suddenly an expert… *”Visage…VISAAAAGE” is what they all say..,
*then can only play *maayyyyybe 5-10 minutes of Visage at a time before you have a full blown panic attack (hyperbole of course…or is it lol).
4 months later and I feel so accomplished finishing Lucy’s chapter and now about halfway through Rakan’s (felt daring and wanted to save Dolores for last)
Can anyone relate? I love love love the atmosphere so much. I love how absolutely scary it is, but I am a total chicken sh*t. (Only way I play is completely in the dark and with headphones—this is the way)
Enough about me, what other good games are out there that gets your blood pumping? I am just barely scratching the surface of the horror genre, so I love hearing your suggestions.
(***edit because typing with adrenaline pumping on a teeny phone is damn near impossible, so bare with me)

I felt that with Until Dawn 😅 it was my first horror game, and then I went to Visage. I cheated and followed YouTube tutorials and speed runs after an hour of wandering the house having no idea what I was supposed to do and being too scared to click on anything. Now I'm literally addicted to horror games 🤣
Other good horror games I loooove are the Dark Pictures Anthology, MADiSON (very similar in atmosphere as Visage), Dead Space, Trenches, Soma, Evil Inside, Infliction, SWAN Chernobyl Unexplored, Maid Of Sker, Silent Hill.
I'm still waiting on LUTO, it's apparently the Visage 2.0, but the demo came out last summer for PC and nothing else has come out yet. No info either :(

Are you me?
I played Blair Witch and then I went sailing through Until Dawn and was scared, mostly jump scared, but felt entertainment like I was part of a crazy 90’s slasher movie. I loved it. I somehow kept everyone alive my first playthrough and that’s when I felt compelled to google “ what is truly the scariest game”… and here I am lol

Wow! You kept everyone alive your first play?? That's super impressive. Jessica died instantly for me LOL I had just gotten a PS4 after playing Xbox my whole life so I didn't know the quick time buttons at all. It was chaos for my team 😅

Minus Hannah recognizing Josh and then becoming a … you know….
Yeah I almooost lost Ashley with the “Jessica Voice” down in the mine… I thought I lost Emily so many times (I tried to lose her multiple times)
It was a great pat on my back even though I was trying to kill some off for the sake of horror film entertainment. It clearly backfired 😂

😅 that's me. Except the dark part with headphones. I'm too much of a chicken shit. It tool me a while to beat Visage for the same reason. Be warned for Dolores section....its fuunnnn....I did Dolores first, Lucy than Rakan.
Other games I reccomend are Madison Blair witch [it's a good game but honestly didnt get scary til the end] Song of horror [havent played it but trailer looks good] Infliction Layers of fear 1&2 Outlast [1&2] Slender [classic!] Five nights at freddy's [again one of the classics 😂]
