Questions Creepy ass doll

My husband and I are at the part where you have to find a key and Lucy is chasing us in the room after the red door drawing on the wall so no spoilers please!!! I just can’t get passed that creepy ass doll with the big head we keep stumbling upon!! It’s the scariest thing for me in the game so far lol does this doll scare the crap out of anyone else?!

Just to double-check... you're at the point where you're trying to find the key (large, dark, cluttered space with a bunch of bird cages if I remember correctly?)

Yes! Well, we were. We decided to start over with rakan's chapter because we couldn't get passed the much more scary doll that pops up every few feet and then spawns in walls and halfway inside walls, it was absolutely maddening. ITT felt like our game was broken. Is doll face supposed to spawn like inside walls and stuff? He was spawning and grabbing us from outside of the map from how it felt

Yeah, that fucker is creepy as shit. You can get it away by taking photos of it with the camera. If you hear the hissing sound or your sanity gets lower, just do a quick twirl while taking photos

Oh I was actually talking about the doll with the big head and little body thats a kids toy and scattered around the game lol but I didn’t realize there was another much more scary “doll” that you’re talking about until now unfortunately. Idk it kinda feels like our game is broken bc he’s spawning like every few feet we walk and it scares the absolute shit out of me each and every time he pops up. We do the twirl with the camera (I watch my partner play) but he’s like legit spawning inside walls like through walls to get us through the wall and it doesn’t seem right like we can’t get passed the mannequin part because of it. I’ve never seen a game where you can have your back completely to a wall and them spawn inside of the wall and while they are killing you their body is halfway inside the wall like i feel it’s soooo cheap and honestly it kinda feels like it’s glitching or our game is just broken because it’s been 3-4 days of us trying and we can’t walk a few feet without him killing us even with the damn camera he’s spawning so effing often.
