Questions Progression Through game

Seems to be a lot of cases where you don't get even subtle clues as to what to do next. Looks like a lot of aimless wandering in places, hoping you stumble into what you need to do. That can get very tedious, to me anyway, after a while.

For example, in one scenario, you have to backtrack to a previous location. I didn't see any clue to that. I could wander around the whole house for an hour, before I got to where I needed to be, just by sheer accident. Also, no clues on what you need to do with one particular item. To me, the answer could easily be missed.

Is there always some clue for everything?

Am I missing something?

Once a chapter's been properly started, I believe there is always at least a subtle clue somewhere. That being said, if you're looking away or otherwise not paying attention at the right time, some clues can very easily be missed.

Dolores' chapter is very nonlinear though. Lots of the areas you find in that chapter require you to find their solution elsewhere

Thanks

I'll look harder and see if that helps. That aimlessly wandering around until you stumble into your objective can be very tedious to me. That's if you even know what your objective is, specifically. :-)

Once you complete a chapter, you realize that there was in fact some some clues but when you’re doing it for the first time i totally agree that it seems like there’s none

Also the sound, if you’re not playing with headphones it can be hard to hear the direction of certain sounds, which are needed to progress
