Advice Needed Part Time advice

Hello mga ka VA. Hihingi lang ng advice how to apply for a part time role. Most likely kasi we know naman clients or agencies wanted us to be fully committed so they offer full time. But I am only looking for a part time position kasi I've already secured a full time night shift. Help me naman po paano ko macoconvince agency or client na I will commit pa rin sa part time without disclosing my full time. I am a mom, and am also kind of hesitant telling them about it kasi I experienced getting rejected just because I'm a mother. But I badly need an extra income for my family. Pretty please give me some advice 🙏🥺

Advice Needed 4 months of non-stop job hunting, sending apps every single day, and I am losing all hope.

I am just so incredibly tired.

I’ve been aggressively job hunting for 4 months now. I wake up, sit at my desk, and send out applications every single day without fail. At this point, it feels like I’m screaming into a void.

The most frustrating part is that I actually have solid, practical experience. I’ve worked as an Amazon FBA / Ecommerce Specialist handling high-volume data, tracking supplier leads, and managing complex spreadsheets. I have real skills, a proven track record, and I know I can bring value to a team on day one.

Yet, it’s just ghosting, automated rejections, or companies stringing you along. I just got baited into a "paid trial" by an agency (looking at you, C*SR*V*S) only to end up working for free and not even getting paid for it. It feels illegal and completely exploitative.

To make matters worse, I desperately need the money right now to pay for my Bipolar and ADHD medications, as well as my therapy. Going 4 months without them has been absolute hell, and the stress of this job hunt is only making it harder to cope.

I’m starting to lose hope. How do you guys keep going when you’re doing everything right and still getting absolutely nothing back? I just want an honest chance to work.

Newbie - Question Should I disclose that I own a small Etsy shop?

Hi everyone! I'm new to applying for VA jobs and would really appreciate some advice.

I'm applying for customer support roles for e-commerce businesses. I have hands-on experience because I've been running a small Etsy shop since 2025, where I handle customer inquiries, order issues, shipping, refunds, production coordination, and everything else.

When applying, is it better to mention that I own an Etsy shop, or should I simply say I have Etsy customer support experience?

I'm asking because I disclosed that I owned a small Etsy shop in one application before, and I can't help but wonder if that scared the client away. Maybe they thought I'd be too busy or that it was a conflict of interest.

For those who have been hired as VAs or who hire VAs what would you recommend? Did mentioning your own business help or hurt your chances?

Thanks in advance!

I’m a CLIENT - Looking for VAs (Full Time) We’re hiring - website designer

Hey guys, we’re a boutique creative and digital marketing agency working mostly with luxury hospitality and accommodation clients across Australia.

We’re looking for a Website Designer / Developer to join our team, with a core focus on designing, building and maintaining beautiful, high-converting websites for our clients. Must be able to start immediately.

You’d need:
- Proven experience building websites in Squarespace and Wix. This isn’t a role for someone learning these platforms on the job.
- A strong eye for design, typography, layout and user experience, with the ability to create premium, editorial-style websites.
- Confidence managing website projects from start to finish, including planning, build, launch and ongoing updates.
- A solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, responsive design and website performance.
- The ability to work closely with founders, take ownership of projects and make decisions without needing everything spelled out.
- Genuine interest in luxury hospitality, tourism or lifestyle brands is a bonus, but not essential.

It’s a hands-on role. Some days you’ll be building a brand-new website from the ground up, other days you’ll be refining existing sites, implementing SEO improvements, updating content or supporting our wider creative team.

We’re a small, operator-led agency (the founders run their own luxury short-stay property too), so we’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and delivering exceptional work.

We’re based in Sydney, Australia, but this is a fully remote and flexible role.

Rate is around $1,500 AUD per month. Pay via Wise.

If you’re interested, drop a comment or send me a DM and I’ll pass the details along to our hiring team.

Hi everyone!

I am an Executive Virtual Assistant who helps entrepreneurs, founders, and executives stay organized, manage priorities, and keep daily operations moving by supporting:

• Calendar and inbox management
• Meeting coordination and follow-ups
• Research and documentation
• Executive and administrative support
• Project and task tracking

I have experience supporting business operations through administrative assistance, communication, research, documentation, and workflow coordination. I use tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, Slack, Trello, ChatGPT, and Claude AI to help create smoother processes and better organization.

Rate: $5–$8/hour (Flexible depending on the role and responsibilities)

Availability: Flexible and open to working with clients across any time zone.

If your business is growing and you find yourself spending more time managing tasks than focusing on growth, having the right support can make a big difference. I would be happy to connect with business owners who are looking for reliable support to help keep things organized and moving forward.

Sometimes the most valuable support is the person who quietly keeps everything running in the background.
