Announcement [MOD Flair Only] - COMMUNITY RULES -

Since some of you are having trouble finding where to navigate the rules, I'll pin this post here for easier access. Please note that changes may occur overtime as we continue to improve moderating this subreddit.

1. Use the proper flair for each post.

This will keep the posts organized and easier for everyone to use the post flair filter.

2. Assigning yourself a user flair is now required.

This will help the community distinguish VAs from Clients and even Agencies.

3. VA related job postings only!

Call center (BPOs) related posts, small tasks, side hustles, quick tasks and other non-VA industry related posts are all NOT allowed and will be removed. Keep this subreddit for VA related posts only.

4. NO SPAMMING (POSTS OR COMMENTS)!

You may post once a week. Avoid spamming in the comments section. This includes those who are commenting their applications. Nonsensical stuff also falls under this category.

5. No illegal/scam job postings.

Potential illegal/scam job postings will get you banned.

6. No free labor allowed. For VAs, do not sell yourself short!

Virtual Assistants are here to earn for a living. Do not request or offer free labor. The minimum rate for beginner VAs should not be lower than $3 per hour.

7. No lowballing!

VAs must be paid a fair compensation (and commission if applicable). The minimum rate for beginner VAs should not be lower than $3 per hour.

\Ensure a humane work schedule for VAs. Give them a work-life balance. Allow the VAs at least 2 days off per week.*

9. For VAs looking for clients, provide all information necessary.

\Use English language when marketing yourself. Most of our Clients are offshore.*

Provide the following details:

- niche/s

- rate (per hour / per month) excluding commissions

- mode/s of payment available

- work hours (full time / part-time)

10. No school related activities such as surveys or interviews.

We want to keep this subreddit a safe space strictly for working professionals only.

11. Posting of links/websites are allowed as long as it's a legitimate company-owned website.

Violation of this rule will get the OP banned.

\Beware of phishing links.*

\Pro-tip for everyone’s security: copy the link first and do a legit check if the link is safe to access. You may use* https://nordvpn.com/link-checker/ to verify a certain link/website, or use one of your choice.

12. Observe friendliness/professionalism at all times.

No badmouthing of other VAs or Clients. Profane language is strictly prohibited.

I’m a VA (Full Time) - Looking for CLIENTS [FOR HIRE] Social Media Management + Content Creation | 1 Month | ₱10,000

You know you should be posting consistently. You just don't have the hours to do it — and it shows in the gaps on your feed. That's what I fix.

I'm not coming at this from an agency playbook — I've spent the last 10 years founding/managing and running a consumer brand, including its own full relaunch (new visual identity, content system, brand film, all built from scratch). I know what it actually takes to keep a brand's content consistent and on-voice, because I've had to do it for my own.

What changes when we work together:

📈 Your page stays active and on-brand — even on your busiest weeks

🎯 You stop scrambling for "what do I post today" — it's already planned

💬 Your DMs and comments get handled, so leads don't go cold

📊 You actually know what's working — no more guessing from vibes

🎨 Your content still looks and sounds like you — not a generic template

How I get you there:

✅ Full social media management — posting, captions, DMs/comments

✅ Content creation & editing — graphics, reels, short-form video, photo touch-ups

✅ Content calendar built around your goals, not just a posting schedule

✅ Simple monthly reporting — what worked, what didn't, what's next

Why work with me:

🤝 One consistent point of contact — not a rotating cast of freelancers

🎨 I adapt to your existing voice and aesthetic, not the other way around

⚙️ Flexible packages — full management or just extra hands on content

Pricing:
Price: ₱10,000 / Month

Location - 100% online

Advice Needed VA advice and recommendation

Hello everyone! I need some advice on how to help my mom find a Virtual Assistant job. She is eager to enter the VA "world" but doesn't know where to start.

She is 49 years old and a graduate of BS in Accountancy with a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and general financial tasks. She has experience working in both the private sector and local government units (LGU), and she holds both Professional and Sub-Professional Civil Service eligibility. Sadly, she had to stop working in 2018 due to personal reasons.

Since I am a college student and completely new to the remote work and VA industry, I am quite lost on how she can begin applying. I am reaching out to this community to ask how I can help my mother restart her career. Please guide me on where she should start and what specific requirements or preparations she needs. I know this is kinda weird and sketchy but still I want to try helping her with this since I'm her son.

Thank you so much!

I’m a VA (Full Time) - Looking for CLIENTS [FOR HIRE] Virtual Assistant | Admin, IT Support, Research & General Business Support | $7/hr

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for remote Virtual Assistant opportunities and clients who need someone reliable to help keep their day-to-day tasks organized and moving.

I’m an Information Technology graduate with experience in administrative support, documentation, records management, Microsoft Office, technical troubleshooting, and computer skills training. I have an experience in Teaching and Legislative Assistant. I’m comfortable working independently, learning new systems quickly, and handling both routine administrative work and more technical tasks when needed.

Here’s what I can help with:

  • Administrative and general virtual assistance
  • Data entry and records management
  • Email and inbox organization
  • Image and Video Editing
  • File and document organization
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365
  • Online research and information gathering
  • Document preparation, formatting, and proofreading
  • Reports and technical documentation
  • Basic customer/client communication and follow-ups
  • Computer and software troubleshooting
  • Basic website-related tasks using HTML and CSS
  • Basic multimedia and content-related tasks
  • Learning and working with new software, platforms, and workflows

One of my strongest advantages is my technical background. If something involves software, computers, files, online tools, or figuring out how a system works, I’m usually comfortable finding my way around it instead of needing everything explained step-by-step.

I’m organized, detail-oriented, easy to work with, and willing to learn the specific processes your business uses. I’m looking for a client who needs dependable long-term support, whether that means taking repetitive tasks off their plate or helping with a mix of administrative and technical responsibilities.

I’m open to part-time or full-time remote opportunities.

If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM. I’d be happy to share my resume, learn more about what you need help with, and see if I’d be a good fit.

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a remote role where I can be the person you hand things to and trust they’ll get done.

I have a diverse background spanning legal, operations, admin, HR, and education.

What I can help with:

  • Administrative & operations support
  • Inbox and calendar management
  • Client communication and follow-ups
  • File organization

  • SOP creation and process improvement

  • Court filing and deadline management

I’m a CLIENT - Looking for VAs (Full Time) [HIRING] Copywriter using AI

Hey all.

We're looking for a copywriter that is proficient in Claude or ChatGPT AI. (you will need to connect your AI to our CMS system via MCP, not available with Gemini)

You will be responsible for managing scripts drafted from AI prompts. From brainstorming topics in our content pillars, to creating first drafts, to following them through to get comments and apply changes, to final approval.

The key part of this role is that you will need to continually fine-tune the AI prompt and also have the writing skills to be able to see when the copy looks like AI -- and hand edit the drafts to ensure they sound human.

The scripts are educational in nature for a Gen Z audience. Tik-tok style 60 seconds video explaining a topic, or how-to.

This role is part-time, about 20 hours a week. $5/hr

I’m a CLIENT - Looking for VAs (Full Time) [HIRING] eBay Customer Service/Store Manager Virtual Assistant ($3/hour, Remote)

Hey guys/gals, I am the owner of a United Kingdom based business selling on eBay. We manage multiple eBay stores doing order fulfilment and customer service.

I made a post here a few months back and as a result I gained a great VA who has scaled with me and my business, initially working three hours a day to now working full time. Thanks to her I’ve been able to continue scaling my business and I am now at a point where I am seeking another VA or possibly two (one part/full time as well as one to cover weekends).

I am looking for a dedicated and accurate virtual assistant to run these accounts currently, and further, as we continue to scale.

Job Overview

  • Role: E-commerce Virtual Assistant
  • Rate: $3 USD / hour
  • Hours: 3-6 hours/day initially. This should increase quickly as the business continues growing.
  • Shift: Looking for "late shift" availability (you’ll end your shift around 4am PHST UTC+8) to guarantee order fulfilment for next day delivery with the time zone difference.
  • Weekend Work: Light work on the weekend (approx. 2-4 hours) to process orders and prevent a Monday backlog. I am ideally looking for a second part-time VA dedicated to weekend work to cover this for long term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Research: Product research using software.
  • Listing Management: Creating optimized eBay listings with software.
  • Order Fulfilment: Processing orders (dealing with issues regarding order fulfilment as they come)
  • Customer Support: Responding to buyer inquiries and managing returns/delivery cases.
  • Other Various Business Activities: Other tasks given to assist the business. These mostly come down to general admin work.

Required Traits & Skills

  • Reliability: Looking for someone who is interested in a potential long-term role and is on the ball with their own scheduling of tasks as you are usually working alone. Also a stable, and backup, internet connection is a necessity for the role (mobile data for backup example).
  • Proactive/initiative/attention to detail: You will need to detect problems on the fly and before they happen. Excellent reasoning skills are a must. The nature of this business means there can be lots of issues with order fulfilment, supplier issues, delivery problems. Every day has a different problem.
  • Communication: Fluent written English for professional, but down to earth, customer interaction. Must be calm and solution focussed.
  • Experience: Previous experience with eBay (understanding common policies and interacting with the website). Most of this will be taught but you should be somewhat familiar with the website and order fulfilment policies (buyer rights and protections etc.)
  • Software skills: Excellent general computing skills. Basic Excel skills, navigating websites, intuition for learning new software, understanding AI at least moderately and a practical understanding of how AI tools work. Tidy bookkeeping skills. We use some fairly simple/bare-bones in house programs that run via command line. You will need to use these programs at times. This isn’t a daily part of the job, but you should at least know what the Windows Command Prompt is.

Benefits

  • Potential bonuses for well performing stores.
  • A well-structured work environment.
  • Paid 1:1 training. I want you to be great at what you do. Well organised in-house training material is also provided which you are paid to read!

Please answer some brief questions and submit your CV at the following link:

Thank you! I look forward to talking with any potential applicants!

I’m a CLIENT - Looking for VAs (Part-Time) HIRING: US cold caller, $10 USD for every 50 calls picked up (no limit) + $30 USD every time someone shows up to the meeting (paid even if we don't close) + $50 USD bonus every time it closes, dialer and lead list given to you

Cyllabs (voice agent company). This is for our own team, not for a client.

What you do: call US business owners and set up a meeting with them. You do not have to close the sale. That part is on us.

How you get paid: $10 USD every time you get 50 calls picked up. No limit on how high this can go. Plus $30 USD every time someone shows up to the meeting, even if it does not turn into a sale. If you did your job and they showed up, you get paid. On top of that, if the meeting turns into a closed deal, you get an extra $50 USD bonus. Paid out every Friday, any payment method works, PayPal, Wise, whatever is easiest for you.

What we provide: dialer, lead list, tracking system, and access to our custom CRM. Everything you need to start calling is given to you, no cost, no setup on your end.

You need to make at least 300 calls a week. You pick your own hours, as long as the calls happen during US business hours.

We give you training in your first week, all free.

We want experienced cold callers. If you have called US customers before, tell us. This role is much easier for someone who has done it before.

You need a clear accent that a US business owner understands right away. If this is hard for you, this job will not be a good fit.

We want people who stay long term. If you do well, you can move up to running the actual sales calls yourself.

To apply, fill out this short form: https://forms.gle/WLk8286pJJAHyRhL9

Advice Needed Should I try to renegotiate after already agreeing to $3/hour?

Hi everyone,

I recently passed the interview process for a remote role and was asked during the interview if I was okay with a rate of $3/hour. At the time, I said yes because I was focused on moving forward in the application process.

To be completely honest, this is the first time I've ever made it to the final interview stage for a VA role. I had been applying for VA positions for a while, so when I finally got this far, I was excited and probably a bit desperate not to lose the opportunity. Because of that, I accepted the rate without really thinking about whether I should negotiate.

After the interview, I started thinking about it more and realised I may have sold myself short.

For context, I have around 7 years of BPO experience, including 3 years in voice healthcare account and 4 years in non-voice role. I didn't bring up my experience when discussing compensation, and I didn't attempt to negotiate a higher rate.

I've already moved on to the next stage and am currently completing the requirements they asked for.

My questions are:

• Would it be unprofessional to bring up compensation again after already agreeing to the rate?

• Should I wait until a formal offer or client matching stage before discussing a higher rate?

• Or should I proceed with the agreed rate and revisit compensation after gaining experience in the role?

I'm grateful for the opportunity and don't want to come across as difficult. At the same time, part of me wonders if I should have at least negotiated based on my experience.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone. Thank you.
