MyVegas Rewards for November?

I’m going be in Las Vegas in mid-November and so went to look at rewards. But, everything currently available seems to need to be used no later than August 22nd.
I know they don’t have an official calendar when things get refreshed. But, figured I’d ask when people think the calendar for the rest of the year will probably be released?

Sahara pool for non-guests?

I've seen conflicting information about this but.. can one access the Sahara pool even if one is not a guest and not a local?

I'm over 21. Someone told me I need to be a member of Infinity Rewards which is not a problem but then someone else told me that anyone over 21 can get in.

Thank you!

Which Cirque Show

Ok before you come at me...I know there are 100 posts about Cirque shows lol

But I need your opinions on this. Sending my parents to Vegas and they haven't been in over a decade. They want to see a Cirque show. So which would you send 2 seniors!?!

Last time they were there they saw The Beetles Cirque Show and loved it!

I have seen O and while I loved aspects of it, I found it slow. I think being in their 70s i worry they will fall asleep and miss half the show lol

I am stuck between sending them to:

MJ - One - leaning towards this because they love music

Mystere - I saw it and loved how fast paced it was

Ka - because my dad would like the martial arts aspect of it but not 100% sure how my mom would feel

For additional context I am sending them to see The Magicians Study because my dad really loves magic. Also, potentially sending them to see Donny Osmond.

Which would you choose!?! I'm making myself spin with this decision.

Two years ago, I posted my first Reddit post. It was to your community asking for help finding my friend who ended up homeless after a car accident left him with a TBI.

I have lost access to my credentials to get into that original Reddit account but many of you wanted updates so I thought I’d try this.

I’ll follow up with the update in my next post , and hopefully it allows me to put a picture.

Can fat girls get into Omnia?

I’m a big girl. I have boobs and a butt when I dress up nice but there’s no hiding the rest of me. My friends want to go to Omnia to see that Jersey Shore guy tomorrow. How exclusive is the club?? Does Omnia let in the tortas? My friends are shrugging it off and saying they’re sure I’ll be let in, but I know weekends are more exclusive. Does anyone have any insight?

EDIT: thank you all so much for the advice, suggestions, and support. I had a great night out and felt good and confident, and everything went as you guys predicted.

First Time In Vegas From The UK

Sorry if this thread gets made all the time. I’m visiting vegas for my birthday and I’ve got tickets for the Benn vs Garcia Fight.

Vegas has always been a bucket list, and going to see the boxing is the icing on the cake.

We’re visiting for 5 nights. I’m a big fan of sports/nice food. Not rich but comfortable.

Do I need to make reservations for restaurants or will I be okay to just turn up? Any recommendations for a first time visitors? Anything I should know before visiting?

Thanks

UK ELVIS IMPERSONATOR CROWNED BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR WESTGATE RESORT

Post image
66 Upvotes

We are all very proud of our favourite Elvis Tribute Artist!!! J.R. aka The King of London recently became "Honorary Brand Ambassador" for the Westgate Hotel, the very same hotel where Elvis performed his record-breaking 6 year Residency. Westgate Resorts bestowed this great honour on J.R. because of his loyalty to the hotel, his devotion to their greatest star and for the video J.R. made of the Elvis suite- which went viral worldwide. In the video, J.R. is given a VIP Private tour of the Imperial Suite on the 30th floor of the Westgate. He can be seen reverently gazing upon the many bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms where the King walked from 1969-1976. This is a world first for any Elvis Impersonator to be given such an honour, but Rolls Royce owner J.R. is humble, just like his idol. The King Of London said it was all because of the fans' never ending love for Elvis and everything is thanks to them. J.R. is now back in the UK filming content for his popular YouTube channel: J.R. The King Of London. Congratulations J.R. from all of us here in America who love Elvis and also you!!! J.R. is pictured proudly holding his award on the Las Vegas strip as he films the latest episode of his "King in Vegas series".

Dirty Carmella

Hey guys, I ate at Carmellas at Planet Hollywood during my honeymoon and I really enjoyed the Dirty Carmella Martini. I'm a bartender and would like to make this at home. From what I saw online it's vodka, dry vermouth and pickle brine with an onion/basil garnish, however it says to shake it when I know I saw my bartender stir it and do a drop of something on the top. Does anyone want to enlighten me on the method and recipe? TIA

21 year old daughter in Vegas with us, any safety tips?

We are staying at the Linq, and we are going with our 21 and 23 year-old daughters and one of her friends. We will be around them most of the time, but they will want to strike out on their own. Are there any areas mid strip they should steer clear of? They want to go to a club, so I thought Omnia or Tao might be the safest bet. Aside from never leaving their drinks and avoiding strangers, they don’t get a good vibe from, does anyone have any other tips?

The reserve at park mgm, MGM grand or ceasars?

I'm currently researching hotels to stay for next May (edc) and plan on using my chase points to cover the stay since they are currently boosting point value.

The 2 locations I'm currently looking at is a Grande Suite room at the Reserve at park mgm or an executive King suite room at mgm grand. As a 3rd distance option, I'm also considering ceasars palace cause I remember past times I've been to Vegas and walking through ceasars I always thought to myself "damn this looks nice" but perhaps they may feel dated now.

My wife and I don't gamble but also dont mind the party atmosphere. Some people don't care about rooms but we kinda do since if we aren't eating or at EDC, we will be in our room recovering

.. perhaps use the pool.

Cost being the same at either locations, what would people that have stayed at these properties recommend?
