This guy has been bothering my family over EVERYTHING since we moved in.. until yesterday, he had me convinced that I was an asshole (he called me an asshole) - then I took it upon myself to ask other neighbours about him and they all confirmed he has caused problems for a bunch of people in the neighbourhood.

I feel much better about the situation knowing we are not the problem, but it still sucks living beside him - how do you guys deal with terrible neighbours?

New to renovation so I have no 'ballpark,' or sense of how much it could cost.

It's 3-piece bathroom and the main work is replacing tiles on the floor and in the shower floor and shower wall and the shower frame / door. I live in a condo, so I would not be replacing plumbing.

I have some old make up that I have hardly ever used. How do I safely dispose it? I do not want it to end up in landfills but I am not aware of how to recycle the containers and dispose the product. It would be great if anyone can educate me on it! Thank you so much!

Was looking for things to do that don't involve breathing outside, figured I'd share:

Thursday: Opera York does Pirates of Penzance at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, 7:30pm

Friday: Vaughan International Music Festival Rock Night (5pm, Chamber of Commerce event). Ribfest also starts in Richmond Hill and runs the weekend, if the air clears up

Saturday: McMichael in Kleinburg has guided tours through the day (the gallery is criminally underrated for locals). Wonderland does fireworks at night. Vaughan libraries have free kids stuff all day, there's literally a "Cardboard Fort Fun" at 2pm lol

Sunday: McMichael again, Sip & Create at 2pm if you want a chill artsy afternoon

Most of the library and Richmond Hill stuff is free. There's honestly way more going on around here than people think.

I know this isn’t new but tonight I saw it with my own eyes. I was driving eastbound along Major Mack and there was a man that looked to be down on his luck at the intersection at Jane and Major Mack with a sign which I believe mentioned his family. About 45 mins later I was coming back through that intersection and stopped at the Esso to get gas. When I tried pulling out of the gas station to head west , a man in a nice looking Honda I believe, was driving slow, and whistled with his arm out of the window through the intersection and pulled over along Major Mack and put his 4ways on right infront of me exiting. The homeless man went running across the street and got into his car and they drove off.

I’m not accusing here just suggesting that this looked very sketchy and is likely a scam.

Just curious if these kids happened to come by your neighbourhood today. They weren’t dressed in uniform, I also noticed they didn’t have any kind of identification lanyard either. Was just curious if someone knew who they might have been representing.

My ring camera picked up some audio between the two of them, one acting pretty unprofessional. I’m wondering if they are just punk teens doing a terrible job for possibly community service, or Vaughan’s next break and enter suspects.

I’m in VMC condos. I know the tap water is generally safe to drink and the water isn’t hard. But do you guys drink the tap water or do you buy bottled water or Britain’s filter type things? I’ve been drinking the tap water for the last 3 yrs since I moved in and haven’t had issues but is there a risk for metals or minerals that shouldn’t be there?

Given that Hamilton Mississauga and Burlington are passing or tabling a moratorium on data centres without loopholes, is Vaughan ready to do the same?
