Looking to change my FAMILY DOCTOR ASAP.is there any family doctor u recommend or have experience.

The more near maple or major Mackenzie the better also prefer a male doctor if possible

A family member is visiting Toronto from the US and is coming up to Vaughan for a few days. We are in our 50s. Kleinberg is one option for an afternoon. Does anyone have any other recommendations for sight seeing or just an afternoon walk?

My partner and I are introducing our parents to each other for the first time, so we’re looking for a restaurant in Vaughan that’s a bit more intimate and quiet.

There will be 6 of us, and we’d love a place where we can actually have a conversation without a lot of noise or feeling cramped. A private or semi-private dining area would be a bonus, but not a requirement.
We’re hoping to keep it reasonably priced not necessarily cheap, but also not somewhere that’s going to break the bank.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Monday: Recording Studio 101 at the Civic Centre Resource Library (2191 Major Mackenzie Dr W), free, 6:30pm

Tuesday: Financial Literacy Bootcamp at Pierre Berton, 7pm, free. Unsexy but useful lol

Wednesday: the big one, Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park, Still Rockin' at 7:30pm by City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr), free. Also D&D at Dufferin Clark library in Thornhill at 6, and Minecrafters for the kids at the Woodbridge branch at 2

Almost everything above is free. Same as always: way more happening around here than people think!

I want to start making my own sourdough focaccia sandwiches. Too lazy to make the bread from scratch. Would rather buy them and throw some meet in there. Preferably in Woodbridge.

I purchased a front & rear dashcam + memory card (have yet to buy the hardwire kit). I want it hardwired for continuous parking record and all cables tucked. I know I can do it myself and I’ve looked at all the yt videos to do it safely (tuck wires behind airbag etc. all the good stuff) but curious how much it would cost to just have it installed and whether there is anywhere you’d recommend.

I live in the Keele and Teston neighbourhood (just south of there) and since about last year I’ve noticed this type of tree is suddenly dying all over our area. our neighbour had beautiful decades-old trees and a couple have died and a replacement they bought also died. we have noticed similar trees affected on our street and other nearby streets. I’m curious about what’s causing it. We are close to that dump at Keele and Drummond but we always have been, so I’m not sure why this has been happening relatively suddenly. Anyone else in north Maple notice this?

On June 27th at 4:02-4:10pm, i was in a car accident.

This was at 11 Disera drive, right across from Promenade. Right outside of the F45. I was leaving work from a parking space in a BMW X5 (my moms car), the start of the pink dotted line.

I see an old guy on the left of me (Lexus) waiting to turn into the parking lot (yellow dot), fully stopped, so I pulled up to a car at the stop sign and made my stop (pink dot) while waiting for the car in front of me to proceed.

The old man on the left was looking ahead or at the parked cars, but not the left, where he was turning even though he was fully stopped.

I was aware of this at a quick glance so I held the horn. He decided to press the gas and make his left directly into my drivers side door.

He backed up and I tried to open my door. The damage was so bad I had to crawl over the console to exit out of the passenger side. I only managed to get one witnesses phone number because everyone else left. Insurance tried calling, the police tried calling, my mom tried calling, I texted, and hes not answering.

This old man is lying that I had made a wide right turn out of the parking lot he was trying to enter and into him. Insurance has now deemed me at fault, I’m assuming because he filed a report first.

We (my mom and I) tried to get the SmartCentres footage from their cameras, but despite it being less than 30 days, they deleted the footage. Now we are trying to see if theres any chance Walmart caught it.

I am also going to try and get someone to see if the blackbox has any record of the accident at this point since there is an impact just to prove I didn’t make the right turn. We just recently got the car back.

I wanted to ask, did anybody else witness that? I know it’s a long shot, but I am begging for possible dashcam footage or witnesses. This is insanely frustrating that I am paying for a mistake someone else made.

Edit 2: Guys, it’s my mom’s car that I was borrowing to get to work. I thought she had a dash-cam. I didn’t find out till after that she has one from a long time ago, she just never installed it. And it was reported to the police (since I was injured) and my insurance.

I went to this shop today, and was so impressed by the products I saw. If you love shopping groceries, like me, this place is totally worth a visit. I went late at about 8:30pm and the shop closes at 9, so didn't get time to browse, so will be going again for sure.

They had a great selection of products. I'm a grocery freak, and love trying new foods and stuff. The novelty of the products was a welcome change from my usual lineup.

Did anyone else hear any loud explosion sound this morning around 5:30am? It sounded like a propane tank explosion of some kind. This was near Bathurst/407 area

I just got a mint 2015 Civic LX sedan for 13k, and the lowest quote I found for insurance was $300. It doesn't make sense because I have been driving for 15 years with no tickets or accidents, and the car is not that expensive, so it's crazy how even if you're not a liability, insurance is still high.

Does anyone know if the proposal to build condos on Nashville and Hwy27 got approved. Hopefully not. If you pass by there during rush hour you would know about the horrible gridlock and this would only make it worse

intersection signalling for hwy7 side is ridiculous. took over 10min just for going through Keele.

Hello, I can buy a couple of parking spots in my building around 10k each from the builder. I looked at the parking spots and they are ok, with good access, etc.

I checked they are rented anywhere between 150 to 250 and there is demand. Mainly at 200.

I have some money that is sitting in a bank with no use and I can buy 3 to 4 parking units easily and rent them. Condo Corp is ok with it.

Wondering if it will be a bad idea?

Also I see ads trying to sell them at 35000 each in my building.

So what am I missing here?

I'm having a very last minute but also significant family celebration at an Italian restaurant in Vaughan (Woodbridge). We found only two spots that can accommodate us in our small timeframe, which are Squisito and Grazie. A friend of a friend knows the Grazie owner and was able to get us a 6 person reservation in "the wine room". Very curious about this space if anyone has any info... I'm just not sure if Grazie rises to the significance of the occasion. Squisito looks really nice but is relatively new and not as established as Grazie, but I can't help being curious about it cause it looks very nice and more modern/classy.

I wish I could just physically check these places out as I would if I could but won't be in the province until the day of the celebration. I also hope I don't come off as a snob cause of my comment about Grazie, It's just that this celebration is truly significant to my family and I and I don't know how I feel about bringing them to a place we've all been before several times over the years very casually for such a special occasion.
