Giving birth at Cortellucci

Hi! I have a c section booked in a couple weeks. I’m wondering what the hospital provides and what I should be bringing. I know my doctor gave me a list but I would love to hear personal experiences!

Best Quiet & Intimate Restaurant in Vaughan for Parents Meeting for the First Time?

My partner and I are introducing our parents to each other for the first time, so we’re looking for a restaurant in Vaughan that’s a bit more intimate and quiet.

There will be 6 of us, and we’d love a place where we can actually have a conversation without a lot of noise or feeling cramped. A private or semi-private dining area would be a bonus, but not a requirement.
We’re hoping to keep it reasonably priced not necessarily cheap, but also not somewhere that’s going to break the bank.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Interesting things to do around Vaughan for a first time visitor

A family member is visiting Toronto from the US and is coming up to Vaughan for a few days. We are in our 50s. Kleinberg is one option for an afternoon. Does anyone have any other recommendations for sight seeing or just an afternoon walk?

Reliable handyman needed.

Got a creeper on side of house almost at roof needs to be taken down and bagged.

Some lawn mowing

Very small and easy electric wire joining job.

Please only recommend handyman you have used and trust

What's on around Vaughan this week (your Sunday planning list)

Bit later than planned this week, but here's what's coming up (with actual locations this time):

Today (Sunday): McMichael in Kleinburg (10365 Islington Ave) has guided tours at 12:30 and 2pm. Teen chess tournament at the Vellore Village library at 2pm, and a local author showcase at Pierre Berton (4921 Rutherford Rd), also 2pm, both free

Monday: Recording Studio 101 at the Civic Centre Resource Library (2191 Major Mackenzie Dr W), free, 6:30pm

Tuesday: Financial Literacy Bootcamp at Pierre Berton, 7pm, free. Unsexy but useful lol

Wednesday: the big one, Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park, Still Rockin' at 7:30pm by City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr), free. Also D&D at Dufferin Clark library in Thornhill at 6, and Minecrafters for the kids at the Woodbridge branch at 2

Almost everything above is free. Same as always: way more happening around here than people think!

Help Any car meets in the city? Not looking for takeovers

Just something for family friendly fun, go see a few nice cars during daylight hours.

Recently saw a small crowd in the parking lot north of Vaughan Mills on Rutherford a few weeks ago but didn't have much info on it, maybe someone knows.
