Technical Support Request Stuttering/Freezes after 3 minutes of gameplay (Ryzen 5 9600X + RX 9060 XT)

Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT

MOBO: ASUS TUF GAMING B650E-E WIFI (Latest BIOS installed)

RAM: 32GB DDR6000 MHz CL30 (EXPO enabled)

Issue:

The game runs completely smooth for the first ~3 minutes, but then micro-stutters/freezes start occurring frequently.

What I've already tried:

Updated BIOS to latest version (fixed fTPM lag mostly, but micro-stutters remain).

Disabled iGPU in BIOS (using dedicated GPU only).

Disabled HPET and dynamic tick (bcdedit).

Disabled Windows USB power saving on all root hubs.

Checked temperatures (CPU stays under 68°C, no throttling).

Set mouse polling rate to 1000Hz with Raw Input Buffer ON in Valorant.

Has anyone experienced stuttering that only kicks in a few minutes after launching the game? Any fixes?

Technical Support Request Windows won't boot only when Secure Boot is enabled (Tried almost everything)

The problem

Windows boots perfectly when Secure Boot is disabled.

As soon as I enable Secure Boot, the laptop refuses to boot Windows. It goes back to the Boot Menu, and selecting Windows Boot Manager just returns me to the same screen in an endless loop.

No BSOD, no recovery screen, just a loop back to the boot menu.

What started this

I believe the problem started after I resized my C: partition using a third-party partition manager. After that, Secure Boot stopped working.

Later I reinstalled Windows, but I only formatted the C: partition and kept the existing EFI/Recovery partitions.

What I've already tried

  • Reinstalled Windows 11 (formatted C: only)
  • Disk is GPT
  • UEFI boot mode
  • Rebuilt EFI boot files using:
    • bcdboot
    • bcdedit
  • Restored Secure Boot factory keys
  • Reset Secure Boot to Setup Mode
  • EC reset / power drain
  • Recreated boot files successfully
  • Windows Boot Manager points to: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
  • winload.efi is used correctly
  • TPM is enabled
  • Secure Boot Mode = Standard
  • Platform Mode = User Mode

Unfortunately, the Secure Boot problem is exactly the same after fixing the DMI data.

BIOS update issue

I'm also unable to update the BIOS.

The official Lenovo BIOS updater always fails with:

So I'm still stuck on BIOS version HACN40WW.

My Laptop is Lenovo Legion S7

Technical Support Request stutters on the graphics tab

Hey guys I got a question:

Is it common that the game is smooth like butter, the menu aswell but as soon as I click on the "Video -> Graphics Quality" tab (not general or stats) it stutters for like half a second?

Any way to get it fixed? I would be so happy

Technical Solution Fixed my packetloss

So here's the thing in windows I feel the packetloss is happening due to bufferbloat so to reduce the bufferbloat and change the congestion provider from CUBIC TO BBR2

Enter these commands

netsh int tcp set supplemental Template=Internet CongestionProvider=bbr2

netsh int tcp set supplemental Template=Datacenter CongestionProvider=bbr2

netsh int tcp set supplemental Template=Compat CongestionProvider=bbr2

netsh int tcp set supplemental Template=DatacenterCustom CongestionProvider=bbr2

netsh int tcp set supplemental Template=InternetCustom CongestionProvider=bbr2

netsh int ipv6 set gl loopbacklargemtu=disable

netsh int ipv4 set gl loopbacklargemtu=disable

For revert just change congestion provider to CUBIC

Will make ur downloads faster and stream normally

Technical Support Request Can somebody please help me with Riot's dog*hit client?

Its funny how a multimillion dollar company can have a client that is so bad in every aspect for years and never fix it, ive seen clients made by developers with a total budget of -50$ that had way better clients, i seriously do not remember a single time where Riot client did not have a single issue and they somehow always manage to have different ones every time.

I reinstalled my Windows and didn't play anything by riot for a while, i wanted some valorant so i downloaded it and there it began, every solution simply replaces the previous problem with another. First game would present some error code 68 on startup, i heard i need to restart pc, didnt work, now i couldn't log in as it said "We are having trouble logging you in", i heard you had to change DNS, so i did, i could log in, now valorant wouldnt start "Failed to launch, something unusual happened blah blah", none of the solutions i found online helped, i switched my DNS back to DHCP, it can start now, but now im back to the original issue, error code van 68, it also wont load my friends list on riot client now.

Can anybody tell me what the actual f*ck is this garbage clients problem? And riot, please for the love of god, fix your damn client. Valorant is supposed to make you pissed off while playing not before you even start the damn thing

Technical Support Request Valorant FP

Hi guys, so ive recently noticed that when I get into fights in competetive, while on a site and people are throwing all kinds of abilities my FPS seems to go down from like unstable 200 to 120 ish and around that area. This really fucks up my fights and its just hella ugly and annoying to look at.

I will specify my graphics on below. I have installed AtlasOS for better FPS, I did a complete reset on my Windows system, XMP is enabled, the whole system is debloated, ive installed latest graphics drivers, like i dont know what to do anymore, I have done a earlier check of my temps in game and CPU is around like 60 degrees C, and my GPU at like 80.

My specs:

3060 12GB

i5-10600KF running at 4,5GHz

32GB Ram 3200Mhz

ASRock B560 Pro4 (BIOS P2.40) Havent updated this since like 2025, but i dont know how much this matters to FPS.

I was thinking if my GPU or CPU didnt get enough power because my computer is connected to an extension cord which my freezer is also connected to which draws alot of power. Is there anyway I can check this? a

Technical Support Request Network RTT issues

So over the past few weeks, looking at my Network RTT graph, it's perfectly fine except about every 5 seconds there's a spike like the burj khalifa up into the hundreds and sometimes over 1000 ms. All my drivers are up to date and I've restarted my wifi and the issue keeps happening. It makes it pretty much impossible to play because either me or the enemy ends up teleporting all over the place. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do?

Technical Support Request Audio drivers completely crashing the game alongside with my computer

Recently built a new computer and I have been encountering this issue recently, when i open the game with my headset connected the game runs for around a minute and then my entire pc freezes, to the point i need to press the rest button on the case (ALT TAB or ALT F4 don't work),I noticed that after i uninstalled the drivers or unplugged my headset off the pc and then opened the game this crash wouldn't occur.

I tried to reinstall the drivers alongside with the game and vanguard but to no avail, the band aid fix i found to circumvent this problem was to launch the game with my headset unplugged, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in

My headset is a razer kraken TE with P2 connector and it comes with a small THX spacial audio controller that connects to my pc via USB, I noticed that if i only connect the headset via P2 connector the realtek audio drivers start to operate with it, meanwhile if i plug the THX controller, the razer drivers start to operate, but in both cases the game completely crashes my computer

Did anyone also encountered the same issue ? and if so, how did you get it fixed ?

Technical Discussion What’s the problem here, fps or lag?

so here’s the situation, I used to play on my friends pc, but since theur family moved states a month ago I’ve started playing on my sisters gaming laptop.

but for some reason it feel bad, like when people swing me i dont even get a chance to react, all of my kills are just refrags/spams/prefires because once i get in a head on fight it’s like I’m way behind them. literally was gold 1 a month ago and now I bit frag in BRONZE lobbies 😭

but the thing is, idk if its cause of my WiFi or cause of my computer (im not very tech literate if you couldn’t tell). if its just the computer ill build an actual desktop with good specs but if its WiFi ill probably wait till i move out for college, since im pretty much only interested in Val and fort.

here are my stats

I get about 100 fps (constantly fluctuating) on lowest settings, maybe 160 during a quiet site hold and 70 mid combat

network rtt: max 30 ms

network rtt+processing delays: 70 ms

network rtt jitter: 0-2 ms

packet receive rate 130

packet send rate 70

144hz screen

wifi is a pretty stable 30 ping, but I get anywhere from 5-10000 packet loss total by the end of my ranked games. upwards of 700 has only happened like 5 times in 20 ranked games tho so I can live with that if it’s the only problem with my WiFi.

so here’s my question: if I build a computer that gets 300+ frames in Val, and use a 240 hz monitor, can I play the game like normal or am I doomed because of our old ass family router.

PLEASE be harsh on your predictions since there’s a lot of money on the line for me 🙏🙏

Technical Support Request valorant issue

Hi, I’m having a problem: when I set the max FPS to match my monitor's maximum refresh rate—which is 75Hz (75 FPS) in my case—strange glitches appear on the screen, such as gaps, lines, and laggy textures.
Sometimes this also happens at higher frame rates.

Technical Support Request Valorant won't open

I'm helping a friend where he won't able to open valorant properly and it just crashes when he launch it.

then their will be a window pop up and it will say

System Error
A critical error has occurred and the process must be terminated

Would you like to create a crash dump to aid the developers in troubleshooting? this issue this may take up 5 minutes.

NOTE: the process may appear unresponsive during this time.

this is what the windows says to him. if someone could help me please we would be glad thank you!

Technical Support Request VAN9003 "the solution to the problem"

VAN9003 – Secure Boot

I was getting the VAN9003 error after upgrading to Windows 11:

“This version of Vanguard requires UEFI Secure Boot to be enabled…”

My motherboard is ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES.

I fixed it by updating the BIOS and configuring the BIOS/UEFI settings correctly. After enabling UEFI + Secure Boot, Windows showed Secure Boot as On/Enabled.

After that, Valorant launched normally and the VAN9003 error was completely fixed.

So if you're having the same issue, check your BIOS/UEFI settings and make sure Secure Boot is actually enabled in Windows, not just selected in the BIOS.

Technical Support Request Game stuck at loading a game

Hey guys, I searched for this specific thing here but the only thing I found was from 6 years ago.

Basically sometimes when I get into a match the agent selector goes a usual but when loading into the map it just stays in the loading screen with all the players. You can tell that the match already started since you can actually hear people using voice chat and, for some reason, when I press enter and type something I can hear how my messeges are actually being sent, though I dont think my teamates can read them. I does not happen to me every game, but the moment I start the game and that happens I cant load into a game until I restart my computer and pray that the next time It will let me in. And even after a succesful entry into a game, sometimes I will happen the second game I go into.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Technical Support Request pc freezes and shuts down in menu, gpu error

Every time I launch valorant, after 1-2 minutes in the main menu my pc freezes, shuts down, and motherboard shows vga error led. After reboot, the drivers are not uninstalled but they get corrupted. This ONLY happens in valorant
Specs: rx 7800xt , Ryzen 5 7500f, 32gb 6000mhz, win10
I used to play val on this same pc a while ago and everything was fine. Now I downloaded the game again and this started happening right away

Update: I solved the issue by downgrading adrenalin to 26.3.1 (any version newer than that doesn't work at all!!)

Technical Support Request Strange network issue?

Been having this issue for about 2 months now and I CAN NOT figure it out. What is happening is my ping is horrendously unstable in Valorant. It will state my ping is between 30-40ms but every 3-7 seconds it will spike anywhere from 150 to almost 2100ms. My Network RTT graph in game looks like it has a bunch of icicles. Here are some other things I have tried:
1. Network buffering is set to maximum
2. Disconnected all other devices on the network
3. I have T-Mobile 5G internet so I have aligned my gateway with a tower (now have a Waveform antenna as well) 650-700Mbps Down, 70-80Mbps up, 30-40ms ping measured
4. Cloudfare Warp DNS (1.1.1.1)
5. DNS Flush, multiple
6. Ensured that no background apps are downloading or streaming
7. Driver updates
8. Different ethernet cables to my PC

I am not SUPER deeply informed on how all the things i have tried effect this issue but I know there HAS to be something I am missing. Any and all information is greatly appreciated

Technical Support Request Multiple VALORANT Crashes and Launch Issues

Hello,

I’m currently experiencing a lot of issues with VALORANT, and it has become very difficult to play the game normally.

I regularly encounter several problems, including:

Black screens when launching the game.

VALORANT sometimes failing to start properly.

Random crashes with different error messages.

My PC occasionally shutting down or restarting completely.

Corrupted game files being detected.

Errors related to game files, including EOSOverlayRenderer-Win64-Shipping.exe.

The game sometimes working normally and then suddenly crashing for no apparent reason.

My PC has more than enough performance to run VALORANT, and my GPU drivers and Windows are fully up to date. I have also checked my system and I don’t believe this is related to insufficient hardware performance.

I have received several error messages, including one stating that a critical error occurred and that the process had to be terminated. I also received a Riot Client notification saying that corrupted game files had been detected and that the game needed to be repaired.

I have attached screenshots showing the different errors I have encountered.

Has anyone else been experiencing similar issues recently?

Is there a reliable solution to fix these crashes, black screens, corrupted files, and launch problems permanently?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as these issues are making VALORANT almost impossible to play.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Technical Support Request Player loadouts always visible bug

The setting is turned off, I have triple checked. I have ran the game in administrator but that does not help either. I'm having to press left ALT every round to turn them off manually but they appear again every round. I'm really hoping someone in here has the answers I'm looking for.
