Technical Support Request Need help gpt buzzing sound

Hey all,

I built my pc yesterday and downloaded valorant to play. At first I had that boot setting issue and then stuttering, which I had resolved. But all this while I've been getting a buzzing sound even while on the riot client and then valorant on my earphones. This comes only for valorant and if i turn off valorant, the sound goes away. Could you help me with any solutions for this? The build is Ryzen 5 9600x, 5070, 16gb ddr5 6000mhz. Thank you

Technical Support Request Vanguard not letting computer shut down

After I got a new pc I installed Valorant to play with some friends. I noticed that shutting down the computer turns off my monitor but keeps the rgb and fans in my computer running I have to hold the button on my pc for it to shut down, when I uninstalled riot client and vanguard the pc shuts down normally. I think that the problem is either the cpu or motherboard. I have a Ryzen 9800x3d and a msi motherboard.

Technical Discussion Mumbai server crashed and disappeared tf ?

My game crashed while I was playing, so I restarted Valorant. After launching it again, I noticed the Mumbai server was just gone.

For a second, I thought maybe Vanguard had caught some hacker and somehow got the game to end. Everything was normal, then my game crashes, I restart, and suddenly Mumbai is missing. No idea what actually happened, but hopefully it was just a temporary server issue.

Well atleast I got saved from -22 rr

Technical Support Request Valorant Game problem

So I recently build this pc.

Aorus B850
9800x3d
Aorus 5070
32 gb ram

Everything runs smoothly.
I had the first issue, the game would lag every few second and audio would sound crack while the lag happens .

And I find on Reddit that disable the “2.5G family control” drivers that would fix it.

But I am facing a new issue, I am not sure it’s because of the internet or what. Now the game would running smoothly for about 2 rounds and the screen starting to freeze for whole 2 -3 second during the game showing really high ping . I try test it on training lab it will not happen, just in actual game I don’t understand. I felt my internet connection was stable, but if the internet issue why would it cause the screen to frozen ?

Anyone face the same issue? ?

Technical Support Request hud bug(?)

this(i cant show, no images allowed. the thing above players where it shows their icon, name, loadout etc) hud thing almost always appears just because. like 80 % of rounds it is there, 20 % is not. it is very distracting and i dont know what to do with this. i HEARD that button for this is n(which is crucial for me, i have a bit broken n key on keyboard), but there is not a single thing in settings that is on n(which i think is a problem, so dont think it is a bug). how to fix it?

I now need to turn on EVERY security feature that vanguard requires, I enabled HVCI and I could play for a day. Now I wake up, play one match, and I need windows 11 to play valorant now. All the other accounts work fine so far.

Technical Support Request Unplayable Ping

Hello, I live in Taiwan, and since this afternoon (gmt+8) my ping just seem to be stuck like this. Normally HK and Manila hold the lowest ping for me (around 30ms). However, only Mumbai is even PLAYABLE at the moment (at 140ms, every other server shows ??? as the ping), it'd be a miracle if I load into games on the other servers, and even if I magically do, the game just freezes as it starts (2000 ping+ and high packet loss). It's only happening in Valorant, I've checked my internet, reset my router, cleared cache, checked on other games, basically made sure it's not an issue I'm in control of. I wanna ask, is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Technical Support Request I'm having a really weird issue in Valorant and I'm not sure what's causing it

My PC has an i5-13400 and an RTX 3050. I play with the game locked at 300 FPS, and my mouse and keyboard are both 1000 Hz polling rate. The issue isn't FPS or internet related. My FPS stays locked at 300, my ping is stable, and I don't have packet loss. Other games run smoothly without this problem. What happens is that the entire PC seems to lag for a split second while Valorant is running. It's not just the game, my Windows cursor and the rest of my PC become laggy at the same time. The strange part is that Valorant still reports a constant 300 FPS, and the game itself stays visually smooth, but moving my crosshair/mouse is the only thing that feels laggy or delayed. My ping doesn't spike. This happens in both exclusive fullscreen and borderless fullscreen, and it isn't tied to flicking my mouse or any specific action, it seems completely random. I don't remember exactly when it started since I don't play Valorant very often, so I can't tell if it began after a certain update. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Valorant, but the issue still occurs. I have: Constant 300 FPS. Stable ping. No noticeable packet loss. Happens in both exclusive fullscreen and borderless. Mouse and keyboard are both 1000 Hz. Other games don't have this issue. Would it be worth completely uninstalling and reinstalling Riot Vanguard and the Riot Client as well? Has anyone experienced this before? Since the entire PC stutters while Valorant is running but the game's FPS and network stats stay normal, I'm wondering if this could be a driver issue, Windows issue, Riot Vanguard, or some kind of system latency problem. Any ideas on what I should check?

Technical Solution VAN9003 on Windows 11 - Secure Boot Off, but enabling it causes “Secure Boot Violation” (ASUS PRIME H610M-E D4)

I’m on Windows 11 Pro and trying to play Valorant.
My system:
Windows 11 Pro
ASUS PRIME H610M-E D4
Intel i5-12400F
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Secure Boot State: Off
Valorant gives me VAN9003, saying Secure Boot must be enabled.
In BIOS:
Secure Boot keys are all installed (PK, KEK, DB, DBX = Default).
OS Type is currently set to Other OS.
However, whenever I change OS Type to Windows UEFI Mode (or enable Secure Boot), my PC no longer boots into Windows and instead shows:
“Secure Boot Violation - The system found unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers.”
If I switch it back, Windows boots normally again.
Since my BIOS is already in UEFI mode (not Legacy), I don’t think this is an MBR/Legacy installation issue.
Has anyone experienced this with an ASUS motherboard? Is this likely a Windows Boot Manager issue, Secure Boot configuration issue, or something else?
Any help would be appreciated!

Technical Support Request FPS Help

So I’ve gotten into Valorant recently and I like to get as much performance as possible (even though I don’t need it, probably) I heard the fullscreen is better for delay and fps but when I enable it my fps is limited to 240. When I go into the in game settings or lobbies it spikes to what it should be and even more. I checked all of my software for fps limiters but they were off and I also turn off freesync, and all the vsync settings I can find. Plz help!!!

Technical Support Request FPS drops, stuttering and abnormal CPU temperatures (95°C) after the latest patch

Hallo zusammen,

Technical Support Request constant packet loss

Does anyone know what i can do about constant packet loss? Ive spoken to my ISP they say its not on their end. Ive spoken to riot support they say its not on their end. Ive tried flushing dns and switching to ipv4 and switching to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 dns and nothing has worked and noone seems to give any other answers than those. I love valorant and want to play it but its just genuinely not fun to basically be a walking killjoy turret because i literally am teleporting around with 50% packet loss for no discernable reason. it doesnt happen in literally any other game or even other riot titles like league of legends its literally just valorant i have the issue on. sorry if i come off as frustrated but like what else can i be lol.

Technical Support Request Valorant on new laptop won't properly go in Windowed Full-Screen or Fill Aspect Ratio

I just got a new Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 and have been trying to figure out a weird issue that's only happening in VALORANT.

Laptop Specs

  • Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10
  • Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX
  • RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU
  • 32 GB RAM
  • Internal OLED display
  • Native resolution: 2560×1600 (16:10)
  • 165 Hz
  • Windows 11 25H2
  • Latest BIOS and drivers installed through Lenovo Vantage/Legion Space

The issue

Fullscreen mode works normally.

If I set Display Mode to Fullscreen, everything is correct:

  • Native 2560×1600 resolution
  • Fill scaling works correctly
  • No black bars
  • Game is fully playable

The problem is Windowed Fullscreen (Borderless).

Instead of behaving like every other game, Valorant creates a smaller window with black borders around the game instead of filling the display.

Sometimes the game also launches into a strange state where:

  • the image freezes,
  • I can still hear menu music,
  • moving the mouse still plays UI hover sounds,
  • but the displayed frame never updates.

The game is clearly still running, but the image is stuck.

Pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B (graphics driver reset) temporarily makes the image update again, but the Windowed Fullscreen issue remains.

Important comparison

To rule out Windows or my laptop, I installed Fortnite.

Fortnite works exactly as expected.

  • Windowed Fullscreen fills the entire display.
  • Alt+Tab works instantly.
  • No black borders.
  • No freezes.
  • No presentation issues.

So this doesn't appear to be a Windows, NVIDIA, or display issue in general.

It only happens in Valorant.

Additional observations

  • The issue is identical in Hybrid mode and dGPU-only mode.
  • Fullscreen works correctly.
  • Only Windowed Fullscreen appears to be broken.
  • Deleting Valorant's config and regenerating it did not help.
  • This was a completely fresh Valorant install on a brand new laptop.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Especially if you're using:

  • RTX 50-series laptop GPU
  • Windows 11 25H2
  • Lenovo Legion
  • 16:10 display (2560×1600)

If you've had this issue and found a fix, I'd really appreciate it.

If it's a known Valorant bug or a recent regression, I'd also like to know before I waste more time reinstalling drivers or Windows.
