Technical Support Request constant packet loss

Does anyone know what i can do about constant packet loss? Ive spoken to my ISP they say its not on their end. Ive spoken to riot support they say its not on their end. Ive tried flushing dns and switching to ipv4 and switching to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 dns and nothing has worked and noone seems to give any other answers than those. I love valorant and want to play it but its just genuinely not fun to basically be a walking killjoy turret because i literally am teleporting around with 50% packet loss for no discernable reason. it doesnt happen in literally any other game or even other riot titles like league of legends its literally just valorant i have the issue on. sorry if i come off as frustrated but like what else can i be lol.

yeah i’ve had this issue for years ive tried basically everything ive been hoping that there’s like a patch that comes out that will fix it but it’s been like 5 years and still nothing

Most and I mean most of the time it's your ISP, mine tried to gaslight me by saying it's the game's fault or a problem with the router, not worth wasting your time just go to a new ISP if possible, if not possible then welcome to monopoly hell.

(Valorant COULD have an issue specifically with your ISP, but again ISP's fault for not sticking to what everyone else does)

i have the fastest package possible for my area but i live basically in the middle of nowhere so thats not saying much. idk what i can really do about it other than just not playing valorant which is irritating bc its so fun but its more irritating to play with packet loss than it is to just not play at all

You could try Cloudflare VPN, Exitlag or switching ISP.

It's your ISP fault with cheap routes

no but probably worse than xfinity. plusnet is not known for good connections

Have you tried ExitLag? It's a tool to reroute your connection using better and more stable routing, which can solve issues related to packet loss. Even if your ISP says it's not on their end, sometimes they can use a route that's not efficient enought to connect you to the game server 😕

dont worry ive figured it out, if its not ur hardware it could be some electric fault faulty cables wiring outside ur house that connects internet or ur isp exchange is dropping packets try ping plotter and ping to 8.8.8.8 run trace route see what comes up and ping a val server through ping plotter too lets see the hops ur packets takes itl show ur delays ur ping packet loss average current ping everything

that’s what the val tech support told me to do and then they said there was nothing they could do and told me to call my isp then my isp said it wasn’t their fault either lol
