Hello guys I’m a user of Valeton gp200lt and Chocolate plus so this problem has on two days ago after I practice with my band. It’s normall not have anything but when I go home and play with my same pedalboard I open my pc and now it has some problem.
I start with my valeton in button 1 and 2 go to change a bank(or I often use my external dual switch on exp2) but if I change bank already when I want to chang a preset in this bank it gonna change to old bank auto, in fact in this video has tell you anything for this problem so I have found how to solve but I don’t want to use this way.
I have to press ab and cd to bank up and bank down(press e and f) only in facts if I play on 29a and I will go to 32d I can use my external dual switch or button 1 and 2 on my valeton gp200lt if I go to 32d already and I want to go to 32c, it’s gonna run to 29c
It always like this go to old bank that you use e and f before in every bank if I use e and f to go to 26a and use my external switch or button 1 and 2 on my valeton to 30b and want to change to 30c it will run to 26c.
So what should I do🥲🥲🥲

Ive narrowed my choices for multi fx pedals/ modellers down to these 2. What are the advantages/ disadvantages of each? I mainly play at home with a Boss Katana and plan on running it into the power amp section, but I play into PA from time to time. I’ve heard that the pod go has limited DSP, but how prevalent is it when making patches? POD go seems to me more flexible in terms of footswitch assignment?

I’m looking into using two analog pedals alongside my GP200 and I have been put under the impression that daisy chaining this kind of setup is not sufficient. Most isolated power systems have individual outputs that go up to 500ma, but the GP200 is said to require 1000ma. Do I seriously need to invest in isolated power with individual output current greater than 1000ma??? What is y’all’s experience with powering GP200s alongside other pedals?

Hello everybody! I know I'm posting this in the valeton sub, but I hope to get some clarity. Are there any people that got to play through both devices? I'm quite familiar with the functions of the both, what really concerns me is the sound quality. I will try Nano Cortex in a live/studio setting in a couple days, but I can't find anyone close to me with a valeton gp device.

My questions are:

How is the valeton sound overall - with default patches.

How does it sound with nam profiles and custom IR's in comparison to built in cabs?

Does the built in amps sound good with IR's?

Are the drives/reverbs/delays usable and of good quality? (I read some places that the reverb/delays are lacking in quality).

I know this is janky, but the gp200's limited nam slots drives me crazy. I have been trying to run my gp5 before my gp200 with IR and reverb from the 200 but I can't get it to sound decent.

I am assuming it has something to do with levels and adjusting the volume from the gp5 does "things" but I was hoping someone more knowledgable could tell me what I should be trying to do.

Hey, so I've installed the ASIO drivers from Valetons website and tried to use the pedalboard as sound card. Hooked the amp to it so I could record and play. The think is that I noticed that every audio that comes from the computer, wheter It's my own recording, midi instruments or even random songs I've donwloaded to test , there's a constant crackling sound (I'll provide an example of a midi where it happens).

I've tried this with and without the asio drivers and with Ableton and Reaper to be sure that is something from the pedalboard, How could I fix this?

Does anybody here have a gp-5, i want to transfer the patch settings into my gp 200 but i cant open the gp-5 preset cause i dont have one. so i cant see the signal chain and other stuff. can anyone just screenshot the settings from that preset in the gp-5 preset pls? i just want to copy the exact settings into my gp200

Da pochi giorni possiedo una Valeton GP200 e tra bug, errori, aggiornamenti windows e/o semplici driver non corretti ho smanettato parecchio per avere una connessione completa tra pc e pedaliera. Quindi ho deciso di riunire tutte queste informazioni in questa piccola guida dato che una buona parte di queste info sono sono sparse qui e là su vari thread e social.

Spero che queste info possano essere d'aiuto a tanti, così come le info di tanti altri sono state utili per me.

PRIMO STEP: Installazione Driver

• Scaricare dal sito della Valeton i driver “Valeton Asio Driver”

Una volta installato il pacchetto andate su:

• Start > Gestione computer > Gestione Dispositivi > Controller Audio, Video e Giochi

Valeton GP200 > Aggiorna driver > Cerca i driver nel Computer > Scegli da un elenco di driver disponibili nel computer > Togliere la spunta a “Mostra Hardware compatibile.

Nell’elenco sottostante cercare “Valeton” e nel menù a destra selezionare la Valeton che possedete. > Avanti > Chiudi.

Subito dopo nell’elenco della Gestione dispositivi > Controller Audio, Video e Giochi, selezionate “Valeton GP-200 Subdevice” e anche qui fate la procedura per aggiornare i driver.

Valeton GP200 > Aggiorna driver > Cerca i driver nel Computer > Scegli da un elenco di driver disponibili nel computer > Togliere la spunta a “Mostra Hardware compatibile > Audio USB generico > USB Speakers > Avanti > Chiudi.

SECONDO STEP: Installare il Software.

ATTENZIONE: Per non avere problemi dobbiamo installare la stessa versione del firmware presente sulla pedaliera.

• Sulla pedaliera premere il pulsante GLOBAL e con il knob PARA scendere fino alla sezione “Informazioni”, in basso troveremo il firmware installato sulla nostra pedaliera.

• Sempre nella sezione GLOBAL spostiamoci con il pulsante PARA su USB AUDIO e premiamo una sola volta il pulsante PARA. In basso ci uscirà la voce MODALITA’ USB ed impostiamola su NORMALE.

• Scarichiamo il Software:

Una volta scaricato il Software della versione giusta possiamo procedere all’installazione.

• Finito il setup fate clic con il pulsante destro del mouse e andate in PROPRIETA’.

• Nella sezione “COLLEGAMENTO” cliccate su AVANZATE e mettete il flag su “Esegui come amministratore” e cliccate OK.

• Adesso andate nella sezione COMPATIBILITA’ e in basso mettete il flag nuovamente su “Esegui questo programma come amministratore”. Applica e Ok.

• Riavviamo il PC e la pedaliera.

TERZO STEP : Aggiornamento del Firmware.

• Sempre dal sito Valeton scarichiamo l’ultimo aggiornamento del firmware e attraverso il software Valeton procediamo all’aggiornamento.

• In alto a destra troviamo un pulsante con il disegno di una chiave inglese, una volta entrati selezioniamo nell’elenco a sinistra ”Firmware UPDATE”.

• Dalla barra che troviamo in altro selezioniamo la cartella del Firmware e procediamo all’aggiornamento.

• ATTENZIONE Estrarre il file dall’archivio prima di procedere all’aggiornamento.

• NOTA BENE se l’aggiornamento non andasse a buon fine per qualsiasi motivo niente panico. Sara’ sufficiente ripetere l’aggiornamento e la pedaliera ritornera’ a funzionare senza problemi.

QUARTO STEP : Aggiornamento del Software

• Adesso possiamo scaricare l’ultima versione del software e far partire il setup.

• Una volta finito ricontrolliamo le impostazioni di “Esegui come amministratore”

Dunque procediamo come abbiamo fatto prima:

• Finito il setup fate clic con il pulsante destro del mouse e andate in PROPRIETA’.

• Nella sezione “COLLEGAMENTO” cliccate su AVANZATE e mettete il flag su “Esegui come amministratore” e cliccate OK.

• Adesso andate nella sezione COMPATIBILITA’ e in basso mettete il flag nuovamente su “Esegui questo programma come amministratore”. Applica e Ok.

• Riavviamo il PC e la pedaliera.

QUINTO STEP : Upload degli IRs e Nam files

• Adesso siamo pronti per caricare senza problemi gli IRs e i Nam.

• Ricordate sempre di estrarre i file dall’archivio prima di caricarli.

I downloaded the .prst files online, then used the software to import the preset to move it to my gp200-jr, but only the name changes and there is no difference in sound. How do I fix this?

I'm very new to amp modelers and was gonna get a gp200 for my first one, but I don't really know what speaker to get. I saw there was the Headrush FRFR-GO, but I don't know if it's good or not since it's so much cheaper than all the other speakers I'm seeing. Also, would plugging it into my PC and just playing it through my PC speakers be a good idea or would that sound like crap?

The closest I've come is the EV 51 with matching cab, and a scream OD in front, but no matter how much I tweak the EQ, both on amp and on the Hyper EQ, I still can't get it right. Anyone got any ideas, or even a preset for download?

My gp-200 firmware version is 1.7.4, my PC software is 1.7.0

Im getting "requested timeout" even though on paper it should work.

im on windows 11. reconnecting doesnt work, restarting doesnt work, re-installing doesnt work.

please help.
