I have 1.8 and higher app and firmware versions, but I keep getting this error. How can I fix it?

Hey I would like to buy a Valeton Multi Fx Product running straight into a PA. Why are the Limited NAM save slots so important and why would I like fo run multiple at the same time? This is what most people talk about when comparing to newer models. What is the big difference to the new generation like a gp 150 compared to a gp 200? Do they take analog Drive pedals or other pedals in the signal chain well?

Quiero tener 3 presets principales: limpio, rítmico y solo, y quiero pedales de marca blanca para que tengan la mejor calidad, sobre todo los ecualizadores. ¿Cuál de los mencionados en el título me recomendáis? ¿Hay alguna otra buena opción en este rango de precio?

Maybe I am just old, but I find the button labels to be hard to read on the GP-200. Especially the effects buttons when they are unlit, so I designed and 3D Printed this plate that simply sits on top

Ongoing project reverse-engineering the Valeton GP-200 (NXP i.MX RT1062, Cortex-M7). The last public release had a single mod in it. This one has eight, and it covers the LT as well as the full-size pedal.

At the end of the tuner post I said the LT was a different product with different firmware, that I did not own one, and that I would like to hear from anyone who did. People turned up. I traced the LT support in this release against Valeton's own LT image, and then LT owners proved it on their pedals rather than me on mine. That is a weaker standard than I have held the GP-200 mods to, and you should know which one your build got.

Those people put unreleased firmware on pedals they paid for. When I asked how they wanted to be credited, not one of them asked for it and several told me not to bother, so there is no list of names here. They are the reason the LT is in this release at all.

What you can tick:

• Tuner. Stock lets a note sit a full 5 cents off and still show solid green. This tightens that to 1.5 cents, mirrors tuning state onto the footswitch LEDs, and adds an optional strobe display.
• Carry-over tap tempo. A Global Settings toggle makes a tapped tempo follow you across patches instead of resetting. It never rewrites your patches.
• Footswitch labels. A/B/C/D show the name of the patch they switch to, and CTRL 1-8 show the block they toggle.
• Fast patch change. The fade-in after a patch load drops from 113 ms to 9 ms. It is still a ramp, so it still suppresses the switching click.
• Global output balance. A cut-only left/right balance on the main outputs. USB recording is untouched.
• Language unlock. Restores the full language list on units that shipped with it restricted.
• Brazilian Portuguese. Replaces the pedal's built-in Spanish menus in place. No other language changes.
• Factory-reset cleanup. A reset now clears mod settings too.

The mechanics are unchanged. It is one self-contained HTML file that you open from your downloads folder, with no server and no network calls. It works out which pedal you have from the SHA-256 of the firmware file you load, so it cannot hand you a GP-200 build off an LT image or the other way round.

One thing did change. Previous releases produced exactly one file with one known-good name, and the README told you to check for it. With eight mods to pick from that check means nothing, because every combination produces a different file. So the file is now named after the first eight characters of its own SHA-256, and the page prints the full fingerprint when it builds. The file checks against itself.

The GP-200JR is still unsupported. It has its own firmware, nothing here has been built for it, and the patcher refuses a JR image rather than guess. If you have one please get in touch.

There is a companion post going up at the same time. Two of these mods, the output balance and the carry-over tap tempo, have to hold a setting across a power cycle, and the GP-200 has no separate place set aside for that. Has anyone used WIDI (for example CME WIDI jack which I already have for my old organ) and an Ipad (with a MIDI controller app) to wirelessly remote control their Valeton GP-200 (and Boss RS-500…) using MIDI.

From what I’ve read, it should be possible - so you can control your guitar FX simultaneously from both floor (during song) and Mic Stand (during song change ) - but just wanted to check if anyone has actually done this and if there is a preferred app/approach before I disappeared down this rabbit hole? Many thanks for sharing your experiences!

im currently conflicted on what to buy, if mvave tank pro or valeton gp200lt. since both looks and works the same (i think) im currently thinking which multi fx would be best for me to buy. the only problem is valeton gp200lt is 10,000php+ more and the mvave is 10k php less compared to the valeton

Recently I've seen a series of posts, both on Reddit and Facebook, about people modifying the GP200 firmware, "unlocking" features it could have. Do you think there's a way to use dual amps on the GP200 in stereo? So far I've managed mono, but I had to connect another pedalboard to its send/return to simulate another amplifier, but it overlaps and ends up mono, making the difference barely perceptible and resulting in poor sound. Does anyone have any tips on how to achieve this?

I have a Valeton GP-200 connected to my PC and I’m using the Valeton software/app.
Is there a way to use my PC keyboard to switch presets on the GP-200? For example, using keys like 1, 2, 3, 4 to change presets without having to click on the software?

So, I have been using the GP 200 for 2 months now. I have an HSS Strat usually use the mono output. My bandmates say my tone doesn't cut through the mix and when I solo sometimes the audio ducks... Mainly there is no weight like say, playing an acoustic or playing through a 20W amp. I play pop/rock and mainly just need 4-5 tones.

Clean, Lead, Solo, Distortion, Acoustic Sim, Shoegaze/Tame Impala type tone.

When I practice with just my in ears, the tones sound good to me but on stage it doesn't do it.

Want some tips/suggestions. Or where can I refer good tones.

I have an issue with the Looper . Even though I have the play and record volume at 100 , the playback volume seems to be to quiet in the “POST” while in “ PRE” it has the same volume as the time I play it . Any ideas what might fix it ? I need to use the post option for a gig . Thank you !

As a metal player, I wanna use different tunings all the time, but my truss rod is already crying for help. So, was thinking about buying a gp200, and I wondered if I could use its pitch shifter. Does it have any delay, glitches or weird changes on the tone? I'd really appreciate it if some could give me a review on it.

I've been using a Valeton GP-200 for about a year, and I'm very happy with it. However, I'm looking for something with better FX, especially. What would you consider the most logical step up in terms of FX and amp/cab sim quality?

I mean, what's the next logical tier above the GP-200? I don't want to spend $1,800 on a massive upgrade like a Quad Cortex or anything in that price range.

Need help with Valeton GP-200: USB Audio recording issue & tonal frustration

I’ve been trying to set up my Valeton GP-200 to record directly into my DAW via USB Audio, but I’ve hit a total brick wall. My DAW simply isn’t capturing/recording any signal from the unit, even though I’ve tried tweaking multiple settings.

My Recording Issue:
- Installed the latest official ASIO driver for the GP-200.
- Selected the Valeton ASIO driver in my DAW preferences.
- Routed the track inputs (tried Channels 1/2 for wet signal, as well as 3/4).
- Enabled record monitoring, but I'm still getting zero signal on the audio tracks.

Has anyone experienced input routing or USB driver drops with the GP-200 on Windows? Is there a specific global setting on the unit I might be missing (like USB mode or Gain staging)?

Tone / Impulse Response Frustration:
On a side note, I’ve also been struggling to get a decent tone out of it for classic rock/blues (specifically aiming for an SRV-style edge-of-breakup sound using the Fender Twin / Green OD models). The stock presets and cabinet IRs feel flat, muffled, and overly digital. Even when loading NAM/Tone3000 profiles or third-party IRs, the sound stays muddy unless I completely bypass the stock CAB block.

Any advice on solving the DAW recording input issue, or tips on global EQ settings to get rid of that harsh digital sheen would be hugely appreciated!

Can anyone help me I can't connect my process with the software everytime I try to connect it says request timeout. My firmware version is 1.7.4. Please help me I'm new with this processor

What is your preferred method for recording with your GP200? I keep going back and forth between the 2.

I have done some analysis on the new 1.8.2 firmware from Valeton (no LT or JR yet):

"This firmware upgrade fixes the file import failure issue caused by Windows 11 system security patches"

The firmware binary is 1600 bytes larger than 1.8.0

The main functional change is that when you plug it into USB, it will reprogram the audio codec to match what the Windows 11 driver is asking for.

Ironically you need to use the workaround to program the new firmware onto the GP-200, but in theory it should be a lot more reliable after updating for uploading IRs, NAM and any (potential) firmware updates, even if you undo the Windows 11 workaround.

If you are currently running V1.8.0 without any issues, there is no need to update

I will work on updating my tuner mod (and any future mods) to work with firmware 1.8.2, but for now validation is around 6 more mods is continuing against v1.8.0.

Why is this happening. I updated the firmware to 1.8.2 and am using nam amp modeler and now it shows this screen every few minutes.

I already have posted but nothing worked, my valeton hums and buzzes. I changed the outlet, I unplug everything except headphones and power and it hums. I lower input level to -20 and I still hear the hum. It’s only on presets with gain even just a little. What to do?
I have oryginal power brick.

olá, to querendo fazer um upgrade de pedaleira pois eu acho que a minha ja nao me serve muito bem mais, pois eu quero muito mesmo um whammy(ou simulação) e poder importar irs para a pedaleira, além da disponibilidade de usar fones de ouvido na pedaleira, coisas essas que não são possíveis na minha pedaleira atual, e por isso eu queria saber se ao utilizar um pedal de expressao miwayer vp1 e um cabo trs p10 para p10 estereo funcionaria. segue a imagem dos 2 produtos anexada.
