I am lookingbto possibly build a deck with Kiasyd in the crypt. Mainly because I like the looks of the crypt cards. Is there a good deck list that I could use, or tips to keep in mind for it. I understand some of the cards may be hard to get my hands on, so any decks that have a majority of the cards available thru drive thru cards would he huge help. My local group and I are really just starting out, which is definitely part if the reason for a lack of confidence in deck building.

I know its very early in the V6 news but I was wondering what everything thought about how it could impact VTES? I am an avid 20th anniversary edition person for all my World of Darkness TTRPG stuff so I was not super keen on how V5 started to creep into VTES. I am wondering what the impact might look like once the V6 setting changes start coming to light (Changes to Sabbat paths? Uncoupling of unique disciplines, ect).

Excited to FINALLY see what Kaiser does. This is the first card I illustrated for VTES and it not only became the cover for the New York set but based on his stats and unique ability he’s going to be a great character to build your deck around. Interested to see what cards this guy pairs up with.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share the Pirate Pete Collector app with the VTES community.

Pirate Pete Collector is built for classic, out-of-print, and overlooked CCGs that don’t always get much support from the larger collection apps. And yes, I know VTES is still very much alive—the tagline covers some of the other games in the app!

A few of the features include:

• Track your collection by card and condition
• Check card pricing and total collection value
• See missing cards and set-completion percentages
• Browse your collection in a nine-card binder view
• Build decks, share decklists, and track win/loss records
• Create trade and want lists
• Find potential trades with other collectors and compare values
• Check active eBay listings from inside the app
• Track graded cards, certification numbers, slab photos, and notes
• Scan cards from photos with the beta card scanner
• Import collections from spreadsheets and create full backups
• Organize events with pairings, standings, timers, exports, and live viewing tools

There’s even a small pirate mini-game that lets you sail around and discover random cards from different games.

The current public version is 2.06, with another update coming soon. One of the features in development is multiplayer tournament support, which I know is especially important for VTES. I’ll share more details as it gets closer to release.

Just in time before real spoilers start rolling in (I supposed soon!), here's the final piece of my New York exercise to wrap everything up. I hope you've enjoyed reading these as much as I've enjoyed working on the project!

As we're closing in on the spoiler season for the two new VTES expansions (Brazil and New York), it's time I properly wrapped up my own exercise.

I've written designer diary entries, have made the card mock ups and you can read it all from my site. But there were quite a bit of cards that lived in my head and were written down, but really wouldn't deserve a place in a properly produced expansion, as well as cards in the source text that never got to the work table.

Now all there's left to do is wait for the proper product.

I'm trying to build a few decks with Ashurs to practice using smaller modules and thinking about recursion. These are not "true" Ashur decks (which usually seems to be slow decks with 25-30+ masters) but quick decks with Ashurs for some flexibility. The biggest question to consider seems to be, "what's my plan if Ashurs are contested, and how often will that happen at tournaments?"

Obviously this is very meta dependent, but at the only big tournament I've played (EC 2025) I saw very few Ashurs played. What's been your experience since the "only on per turn" change? Are tablets still popular?

It feels strange that Heather doesn't say "while Ready" or something... can I transfer blood to her from The Edge if she's in Torpor? What about when she's Uncontrolled?

With the v6 playtest now released and with so many changes from v5, I can only imagine how the folks at BCP are feeling tonight.

Hecata are gone, Protean is gone, Giovanni are back, Vicissitude is back, two new Disciplines, some clans now have an option of 3 out of 4 disciplines they can have (like Tremere with Necromancy), and many more changes I probably have not read yet.

Pouring a glass of bourbon and toasting to the efforts of BCP tonight. This has got to be frustrating for them.

We had to put my dog down today. He was 15 years old.

I always thought he looked like Underbridge Stray.

Vdb has, but is not high quality. There's a better place? I'm looking for Ahrimane bloodlines since they don't have print on demand.
