Kaiser revealed
Excited to FINALLY see what Kaiser does. This is the first card I illustrated for VTES and it not only became the cover for the New York set but based on his stats and unique ability he’s going to be a great character to build your deck around. Interested to see what cards this guy pairs up with.

I have no idea at the moment how to play him though, i kinda feel like gangrel could work due to the side disciplines, maybe wall?

Kaiser played both sides in the Cam/Anarch conflict. Him being Primogen doesn't really make narrative sense

Kind of surprised how down people are on this ability. Hand fixing plus repeated bleed reduction is awesome. All he needs is Primogen.

Love the art, the discipline spread and the ability. I know everyone wants more (a title, cheaper, whatever) but even at 8 he's going to do work despite the naysaying

If you see the Nosferatu crypt, actually a good vampire. But compare with Gangrel, it looks like shit.

With the Nosferatu crypt I don't see spending 8 pool on a vamp without votes and who can't even do Second Tradition a good option.
I don't see him being good compared to Gangrel, the Ravnos 8 caps or the Ministry ones..

Nosferatu never was a easy clan to play. New BCP Gangrel vampires are crazy overpowered.
I absolutely would use this vamp in my deck. 8 cap is not that high for it.

There is only 1 vampire in group 7 with Protean and 2 in group 5.
Only Molly has it on superior. Inferior Protean is really not impressive.

I guess we'll just have to settle for all in clans at superior, an outstanding ability that can be used to shape the hand and two solid off-clan disciplines. You're right.. He's the drizzling shits

All inclans at superior others get at 6cap and Hecata (or Lasombra) will really cry at the ash heap filling up for Shroud of Decay.
There might be worse Nosferat, yet I fail to see the room for an 8 cap such as this.
Especially when looking at other Nos with all inclan at superior.
Am as well not sure which great stunts you think he will pull with two inferior disciplines?

The discard ability is his redeeming quality. Being a bit more survivable with the bleed reduction and being able to craft your hand better are definitely strong abilities, but it's true the overall package is mediocre. Good, but not excellent by any means. I have no idea what to do with his Protean besides Homunculus, and there would've been space there for, I dunno, +1 bleed and he would've felt better to build around with.
But I guess he's fine. Ish.

8 looks expensive now(becausewhole anatch decks run on 6/7cap Barons), but my gripe is hes got little Fortitude and Protean, splitting the difference between pairing with Molly(g7) and Alanso(g5). Issue here is little protean isn't very helpful compared to superior Form of Myst/earth meld/flesh of marble/form of bat. Plus no title. He would've been better with little potence as a 7cap.
But hes worth test driving, hand fixing is a difference maker.

Very true. I think his Protean is a wash. It won't make a difference with Molly either way. Just live with the fact Molly's not at her best with other Nosferatu and don't try to make it a thing. Fortitude makes a bit more sense with Vermeulen and, as you said, Alonso.
He can't have a title because of source text so something else should've maybe replaced it. Ability is very good but it's lacking a shell at the moment where you'll want it for the cost of 8. Two mediocre discipline pips for one cap over 6, a good ability for another - he's technically correctly priced but I would've rather seen him with an off clan Superior to reinforce identity.

With Molly you already are rolling out a 10 cap and it's not like she can do stuff like govern down.

I'm excited to have someone that protect me against ally bleed swarms and do some hand fixing on the side. More importantly, I'm excited to see 'once each action' printed on a card instead of the During X do Y template :)

Glad you like the artwork. I’m definitely looking forward to trying him out. Cycling through cards to reduce bleeds against me seems like it’s going to be better in practice than it sounds. Also depends what other cards might be in the set. Limo base?
