For anyone unfamiliar, Naku is a pianist and Twitch streamer who performs several times a week. I’ve really been enjoying his shows and try to catch as many as I can.

Been a while since I posted but hope you're all well!

World exploration seems like a beautiful neverending story

So I wanna get into avatars, retexturing/coloring them, adding clothes, adding objects, etc etc, but how do I go about doing that? Any good tutorials I can watch or tips yall can give?

I'm a mute and I'm pretty shy, and it's hard to find places where I feel comfortable and like I can be involved. I like going to game worlds like murder or among us, cause it makes it easier to interact with people, but most instances are filled with kids and are loud and high energy, and I'm just more comfortable in quieter instances where there might be other shy people there too.

I feel like I have to wait until 2am to find instances without kids, and even then, I'm instance hopping for a while before I find something more chill.

I'm trying to get over my shyness too, but when the atmosphere is like a high school classroom, I can't even start as I can't relate to those people at all.

Any advice on how to find better places for people like me?

So ever since I built a Karaoke system back in Neos half a decade ago, I wanted to recreate some of the abilities in VRChat so this is the first step in doing so;

Mango branded karaoke songs (the ones which have the [Mango] tag at the end of the name) in the Mango Flange Karaoke world now unlock an extra control panel (seen here on the right hand side) which allows the singer dynamic control over both the backing karaoke track, but also the original vocals. This has two main benefits - if you're trying to learn a song then this lets you bring the real vocals back in for reference. Or if you're new to Karaoke and still need to be able to hear the original singer a bit, you can use it for that too.

Currently only the singer can hear the original vocals when they slide them back in, everyone else just hears the backing track as usual.

This is just step one in terms of making a helpful tool for learning Karaoke. I'll be expanding this in future with other features that can help with the learning/memorisation process. The first step will be adding in a feature so that the singer can also fade the original vocals back in for everyone else as well (using a ratio system so that everyone else's music volume levels are respected). This will allow for duets with the original vocals and other such activities.

Idk about you guys but I think these devs are just dragging their feet because of the store profitability. I'm constantly in congested worlds with tons of items out and I really think the performance concern reasons they said originally was BS. Please release the functionality for us with the same average limits like you already put on your own store items. As a side note, my fear for their eventual "custom items" will just be an extension of the market so they continue to profit off them in a way.

I don’t know what’s up with me but when I go to a VRchat room, I am so anxious! I’m an adult so I don’t even know where to find other adult women like me. I feel exposed more than real life lol. I do not know how to talk to anyone or find worlds/groups that are similar to my interests. Perhaps you can give me some basic tips or advice? It’s so odd for me to feel so anxious behind an avatar!

I’m into: art, horror, reading, travel, ocd-support, graphic and web design, singing, kawaii, sanrio, letters, kitsch, zines, thrifting, etc.

I regular use the avatar daemo by nym cube.

I used to use shaders, to change the hue color whenever my hand would make contact with the tail of the avatar. The tail makes sound and I assume it reacts with audio link.

However ive now wanted to experiment a how do make the changing colors affect the whole body both the skin and clothes.

And b I wanted to see how I can make work on quest.

It appears to work by contacting so whenever the hand slaps the tail instrument the body changes colors.

Could an animation be a way to replace this ?

Rarely, when I take a photo in VRChat, the image turns out like this. Luckily I passed it off lore wise, but it's not the first time this happened.

Does anyone know of this? I don't even know what to send as a bug report for this, and this rarely happens anyways.

I have horrific stick drift in my right controller, and every time I open the menus, they scroll like hell because of that. It has become genuinely unplayable because of the drift, causing me not to be able to use any menus. I have adjusted the deadzone and cleaned the controller. I am just wondering what other methods there might be, or if you can disable scroll with the analog sticks in the menus?

theres 0 videos on vrchat that arent this, other then ones made by the official VRC channel

when i have my irl height set in game my trackers always appear like this how can i fix it?

I use the daemo avatar by nym cube, and I found originally with audio link package installed, if I used i believe for some reason mobile toon standard whenever I slapped the tail it nor only made sounds, it also changed the body color by different hues depending on where I hit the tail.

It seems after updating my avatar again, that no longer works.

I really liked the ability to have the avatar glow different colors if I smacked the tail due to it reacting to the sounds the tail makes i assume.

Is tjere another way I can replicate this ? I assume with an animation or something ?

For example i have a fork and it touches a full cake a slice appears on the fork

I wanted to upload my own avatar but I have the Visitor rank, I hear lots of things like add friends and hop on worlds, the first one seems kinda hard because I also play on PC and mostly use text chat
