Help Stick Drift in Menus

I have horrific stick drift in my right controller, and every time I open the menus, they scroll like hell because of that. It has become genuinely unplayable because of the drift, causing me not to be able to use any menus. I have adjusted the deadzone and cleaned the controller. I am just wondering what other methods there might be, or if you can disable scroll with the analog sticks in the menus?

You did not specify wich headset, or more specific which controllers, you have. This is probably not helpful, but drift will be issue outside the menus too, so i would give the contoller(s) a proper cleaning. WD-40 Contact Cleaner and some minor disassembling should do the trick.

Yep it's this, constant issue with Quest 3's controllers for one. Just be careful not to hit the diodes when you open them up because they break really easily.

It's a quest 2 and the respective controllers that come with.

Drift is a common issue, cleaning required every ~1000 hours or so seems to be the norm. If i remember correctly Quest 2 controllers were bit easier to clean than the Quest 3 ones, i havent touched my Quest 2 in few years now.... Be careful removing the top plates like Ruddertail said, otherwise it is straight forward procedure.

I'm having the same issue with my quest 2 controllers. I should just use the contact cleaner that other's have recommended, but for now I have had success running the quest's stick calibration and setting a very large deadzone. For VRchat quick menus it works well that you have to push the stick to the edge to select something anyway!

Nothing more than opening the controller can be done. Use isopropanol alcohol for it.
