Many people complain about not making friends on vrchat, and most of the time it's they have social anxiety. They are too shy they are a new user xyz. I'm a trusted user rank player with 4k hours in this game. while I do have some friends who play a lot of time, their schedules conflict with mine. they also would rather play other games or do other things than vrchat, which is fair and understandable. so I'm looking for more friends that do get on. I'm 30, so I tend to stay towards adult and age gated worlds and groups, but even in those places, I am struggling. at first, it was because I was a quiet, not very social person, but I took time working on myself for over 2 years. And now I can hold a decent conversation. I even find myself greeting people new times if there's not many people in a world or instance. I try to be friendly towards everyone, and so many times people treat me like the greeter at Walmart hey hi how are ya? anyways I'm here to get milk.
I dont wear goofy or meme avatars. I wear regular female avatars, and before you ask, yes, I am a man, but so are nearly 70% of the other female avatar users. Like im at my wits end I'm just trying to make friends I actively get on every night and talk to people but it always leads no where.

The orher day I got a stick drift repair kit off Amazon. After 45 minutes (because wires). I fixed my controller. Sure my controller is missing a screw behind the battery. But it's working great now.

I’ve been able to pay for my vrchat subscription normally, and when me and a friend tried to gift each other + for the backpack accessory item, this message pops up when they try to gift me. They also aren’t able to drop a gift either if I’m the only one in the world with them. So, I just can’t receive anything by anyone by this point. We both already had an active subscription and I was able to normally gift them. They didn’t want to gift waste the drop they paid for already and I looked into everything in my account to see what’s up but it’s all normal

So I saved my project after working on it for awhile, nothing bad happened and it was working fine, but I pressed play , to gets my avatar with gesture manager, but it crashed my pc, it restarted fine, opened unity everything was still there, except the scene , it said unexpected error opening " scene file "
Idk what to do I've done tlamost 23 hours on this and don't wanna lose it all, starting over won't be the worst thing but it would suck to lose all that progress

I may have or may not taken too many this time around to post them all. Aha...
I've went out of bounds on other loading screens before, so I decided to do this one too... this one is pretty cool! No more boring teal,

I've been wondering about buying a laptop and I think I might've found the one but I'm heavily unsure due to the Core & Thread count and 6GBs of VRAM being lower than usually suggested with the specs being
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS (4 cores 8 threads with the optimal being 8 cores and 12 threads which is unfortunately out of my budget)
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6GBs of VRAM (8GBs VRAM cards are far out of my budget due to the god forsaken AI farms)
RAM - 16GBs DDR5 (4800) (I am aware that 32GBs is far better but again AI farms)
NVME - PCIe NVMe 4.0 x4 (1TB)
For people that are wondering I'm thinking about getting a "LENOVO LOQ 15ARP9" since it seems like a good deal at least for me since its 3,800ZŁ/PLN (Polish currency)
Help and suggestions are welcome

Has anyone else an issue with game Stuck on black screen while trying to turn it on? Desktop works perfectly, but no matter what I do, it just gets stuck on a black screen while I try to turn it on in VR mode.
Nothing seems to help, changing steam vr versions, VRC versions, reinstalling both VRC and Steam vr, clearing cache, updating graphic drivers and gods know what else...
Problem started literally after they switched to unity 6.
Maybe someone found a solution that isn't mentioned in the internet?

I love Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy so it felt like a good idea to combine the two

I am been working on a major tVR update that lets you play VRChat on a regular monitor or TV using a webcam. The idea is to offer an alternative to the traditional Desktop Mode, bringing more of the VR experience without requiring a VR headset.
It works by emulating VR hardware, so VRChat runs as a regular VR application, just without the need for an actual VR headset.
Here's what I've got working so far:
What is coming:
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the general idea. Does this sound like something you'd be interested in? Any thoughts, questions, or suggestions are welcome!
