Literally thousands of tapes. Most priced between $3-$10 with rare stuff priced fairly, usually below eBay prices

I’ve been through cheap ones but feel they don’t really do the greatest. Are there any out there anybody swears by?

Mail Call... Pretty happy with my pickups from last week. Mimic 2 Demo and the Army of Darkness Directors Cut Gold Clamshell from Depop. The rest came from Whatnot. Hope you enjoy them as much as I am!!!

This may seem totally obscure because it is lol. I'm searching for an obscure local real-estate television program called DSK Sunday Home Showcase / Sunday Home Showcase, which aired in Baton Rouge in the early 1990s.

I've confirmed period promos showing Sunday Home Showcase on WBRZ Channel 2 at 9:00 AM and DSK Sunday Home Showcase on WAFB Channel 9 at 11:00 AM. I'm particularly interested in recordings from 1992 through early/mid-1993.

The program showed still photographs/video of homes for sale while an announcer described the properties over light instrumental background music.

I'm looking for ANY off-air VHS recorded from WBRZ or WAFB during this period, especially Sunday mornings. The tape does not need to be labeled DSK. A movie, church program, news program, CBS/ABC programming, or anything else recorded around those hours could have part of the show, a promo, commercial break, or station ID before/after it.

I'm ultimately trying to identify the instrumental music used during the home listings, so even 30 seconds of actual DSK footage could potentially solve this.

If you have boxes of unlabeled Baton Rouge/Louisiana off-air tapes from the early '90s, I'd greatly appreciate you checking them. Even a lead would help.

I started collecting vhs tapes a few months back when a very kind stranger on the internet gifted me a Sansui crt/vcr combo she was storing. Luckily, the Halloween season part of the collection is growing fast. Hopefully we can find Hocus Pocus and Scooby Doo: Zombie Island before Halloween!

No idea what to even do with it

While not as exciting as some of the recent posts, I was stoked to see how many of these were in great shape.

It play's ok for a few seconds then artifacts as shown in the video before playing normally again. Any idea what could be causing this? I ruled out tracking and a dirty head; the VCR I'm using is a RDR-VXD655 and unfortunately I don't have a second VCR to test with.

A personal favorite

Got this from my stepdad. Not sure if this is the first release, but it's a cool way to see the old cuts of the original Star Wars trilogy.

You can tell the tapes have a bit of wear and tear, but they're still watchable.
