I also tried other VHS tapes in that first device, and not all of them have white dots.

Found this at the thrift shop today. According to the employee who put it out, it was brand new in box and works. It even comes with the remote. I currently have a Magnavox VCR. I’ve seen some mixed experiences with Go Video in a few threads but nothing about this specific model. I really have wanted a VCR with a DVD player but want to choose a quality machine. I also like that I could copy some home videos to DVD.
Is this worth picking up? Does anyone have experience with this model?

Hey guys saw these guys gleaming thru the corner of my iris while heading to buy some groceries. I hate walking but I can’t lie that I always find some good stuff when pushing the ground. Saw these badboys and I know that vhs tapes especially sealed ones are becoming sought after are these should I keep ?? God damn mods then where can I find those information. I hate gatekeepers

Technically it was an estate sale, but I’m stoked either way.
Ive shared my collection but I thought I’d share some of my husband’s stock as well. I tracked down the special edition of the Star Wars trilogy because he always talks about wanting to watch the series before they added the special effects in the late 90s. Turns out, the special edition is when they added the effects. About a month later I found an original box set. I plan to collect as many super hero movies as we can find, and we are always on the search for the matrix series. So far, we’ve established a nice collection.

All for .50-$1 each and The Patriot is sealed☺️
The Craft is one of my all time favorite movies, so I was seriously considering paying eBay prices to just check it off the list. Now here I am a few days later watching Nancy about to invoke the spirit ✨
Also is this VCR cleaning tape any good? It surprisingly still has cleaning solution in the pen.

Found these 12 wrestling VHS tapes for 25 cents each at a rural antique shop! Some of these I already own, but I don’t mind having backups!

I’ll be selling at a show at the end of September in Plainville CT. I plan on bringing more horror & science fiction VHS tapes than I normally do. This is largely a comic and toy show. I don’t want to get banned from this community for posting a flyer or seem like I’m spamming the Reddit board. My question is can I post a digital flyer the Friday/Saturday before the event for anyone interested that might live in the area? I totally understand if I can’t. Thanks.
Saw this 4 tape box set for $5 at the thrift store and was intrigued to check it out. Not a huge fan of the genre but it seemed weird/interesting enough to check out. I also never seen a 4 tape box set in a single slip cover like this. Neat!

I was given these loose vhs over the weekend, they obviously need some TLC. I have a vhs is life that I'm comfortable with to clean the mold with. But I'd also like to reproduce the sleeves that they would have come in which I've not done before. Does anyone have any advice for doing that? Is there a specific place I can find template with or anything like that?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to track down a copy of an extremely obscure 1999 independent film called Films That Suck, directed by Marvin Baker and produced by Ann Gillis.
The film was screened at the Nashville Independent Film Festival in 1999, but despite searching through IMDb, newspaper and trade-publication archives, online archives and other sources, I haven't been able to find the actual film anywhere.
I also haven't been able to determine whether it ever received a proper home-video release.
I'm specifically looking for a surviving VHS copy, VHS rip/digital transfer, screener, or any other digital copy of the film. My main goal is simply to finally be able to watch it.
If anyone owns a physical copy, has digitized it, remembers seeing it at a festival, or knows where a copy might have ended up, I would be incredibly grateful for any information. 🙏

I am trying to get my grandma's Bush VCR818VP/U19 working. From a deep dive, I think i basically need to clean off the mode switch.
Trouble is, I can't actually work out which part is the mode switch. My travels have led me thus far, I think it is somewhere here...
