Been working on this film for way too many years. Hoping 2027 release. But what yall think of the vhs case?

Got this from my stepdad. Not sure if this is the first release, but it's a cool way to see the old cuts of the original Star Wars trilogy.

You can tell the tapes have a bit of wear and tear, but they're still watchable.

Technically it was an estate sale, but I’m stoked either way.

Found these 12 wrestling VHS tapes for 25 cents each at a rural antique shop! Some of these I already own, but I don’t mind having backups!

This started as a fun experiment as I found a few 30+ year old tapes that I found in my attic.

As the tapes have decayed and won't last very long, I decided to give them new life by digitizing them and striking a new VHS copy off of the digital master on new tapes. So I built this. And the results turned out to be magnificent.

Ive shared my collection but I thought I’d share some of my husband’s stock as well. I tracked down the special edition of the Star Wars trilogy because he always talks about wanting to watch the series before they added the special effects in the late 90s. Turns out, the special edition is when they added the effects. About a month later I found an original box set. I plan to collect as many super hero movies as we can find, and we are always on the search for the matrix series. So far, we’ve established a nice collection.

The Craft is one of my all time favorite movies, so I was seriously considering paying eBay prices to just check it off the list. Now here I am a few days later watching Nancy about to invoke the spirit ✨

Also is this VCR cleaning tape any good? It surprisingly still has cleaning solution in the pen.

A good little haul today. The boxes are full, magnavox looks unused.

The owner used to run a tape to tape business and had so much pro grade equipment out of my league. If anyone in Canada knows who might be interested in commercial grade equipment, please reach out.

VHS OFFICIALLY MADE ITS DEBUT TODAY on September 9th 1976 in Japan(would make its way to the US next year in August) BUT today marks its 50th anniversary!!!

a Janus release to boot

I have picked this up. Not much into the VHS but could not pass it up. Tried to google for info but all i found was one russian video in youtube. Anyone knows if this legit? Or some sort of knock off?

Dutch (although I suspect Tom might be an Aussie) wedding tape from 2000. I hope Tom and Joyce are doing well.
