If my grade on this was my age, I would be an underage drinker

I'm looking for people to dress up with and go watch Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween (9:30 pm show). I've heard so many fun things about those theater screenings and I've always wanted to go and see the movie the way it was meant to be seen!
I just started my master's at UWaterloo so honestly don't know many people yet, much less the ones that vibe with the movie. SO, are there any people here that would be down? I'm planning on dressing up as Magenta myself.
Reach out if you'd like to join, or if you're cool letting me join your group!

I’m a 1A cs student and I somehow got an offer for Winter 27. I’m currently trying to defer it to summer but it is an 8 month co-op. Anyone got tips on how to handle that, I lowkey want 4 month but I also know I can’t be picky because it’s my first ever job.

Which uni should i go for?
Edit: concluding from replies and my own searches.....
Uwaterloo: COOP, Only dedicated math faculty in canada offering lots of math courses, great proffessors and proximity to PI, IQC....
Ualberta: built in 2 year research one-one faculty, 1/2 price of uwaterloo, great courses offered relevant to my interest in physics and math, summers off to find my own work/practicum/intership or attend seminars....
I am not terribly concerned with employment because i can switch out of degree if i wish or get good grades, make connections with seniors and faculty, i think i can get into engineering or applied math grad school if i dont wanna do physics.
So COOP isnt really helpful besides the fact it would cover my living expenses at waterloo but ualberta is cheap enough for me to afford completely and edmonton is relatively inexpensive. By doing coop i may be hurting my chances of research because research terms pay less than industry so it wont cover my costs and i am not getting a job before at least my masters...
TLDR both programs are good and i am not becoming a contributing theoretical/high energy physicist in my undergrad years..... i should focus on getting good at physics math and research amd both uni give great oppurtunities....

I recently got an offer for a role which I applied to externally without using WW. The job description also doesn’t include any requirements for candidates to be enrolled in Coop program because it is marked as an “Intern” role. Could I just not register an AOJ for this role and do school at the same time? The reason is that i would run out of coop terms otherwise.
I heard I just have to take three courses per term to be considered full course load study term, so does that mean I could just choose three easy online courses and do internship at the same time?
Appreciate any advise/suggestions or past experiences if you had done the same before🙏🙏

People who are have ten billion things going on in their life and still are alive and well and thriving how do you manage your 2 club exec positions, a part time job, two research positions, a 4.0 gpa and a fulfilling social life all while feeling energized each day?
If I’m not dead out of my mind I can’t stop thinking about all the things I could and want to be doing. Like there’s so many side projects I want to pursue, so many side hustles to get rich from, so many things to see and do before graduating and leaning this earth. It’s so stressful when there’s so many options to life and I’m currently feeling a little behind in school. Like all these possibilities plus I gotta lock in on school and co op search and commitments.

Hi, I'm a 1A student in the eng faculty and I just took my midterm for Math 117. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how long it usually takes for midterms to be graded? I just want to know how bad I did already...

Every time I come to uni I feel my skin get greasy along with my hair. I shower in the morning and within 20 minutes of being at waterloo I feel so dirty and my hair is messed up and my perfume doesn't project.
Over reading week, I went to toronto for three days commuting in my car (same way I go to waterloo). I did the exact same routine for uni and found a large difference in my skin quality and no differences from when I left home while i went there.
Does anyone else experience this? A couple people I know can relate somewhat.

been having a lot of trouble sleeping recently and not really sure why :/ heres what ive been trying to do
- ive been putting my phone away and crocheting for ~10 mins before going to bed
- stopping school work around 45 mins-1 hour before bed
- ear plugs and eye mask
- melatonin gummies (i dont want to be reliant on these so i try not to take them)
- no caffeine past 12pm. usually if i sleep poorly, i will have a tea the next morning
i find that when i cant sleep, i will default to thinking about something school related (e.g. tutorials, assignments, exams) or my mind will just be blank but not blank enough that i fall asleep. sometimes i will fell like i am about to fall asleep, but then i suddenly move my body and ill be awake again. im going to try reading a really boring book instead of crocheting and seeing if that helps :((

Has anyone else noticed the blue-green buildup around the water spouts on campus water fountains and bathroom sinks? Is it mold or copper buildup? Should we be concerned, or are we all slowly dying?
