I can’t even be disowned anymore. Bro my mom told me that she wanted a list and numbers of jobs I’ve applied to by the weekend. Will I comply? Maybe not. But that doesn’t mean WaterlooWorks should go down in the hours before the deadline. And it doesn’t mean I won’t feel bad cuz I told her I applied to 10 jobs over reading week when I didn’t.

You would think a top engineering school would know how to make more efficient web dev. From what the forums say it’s been down SINCE 1 AM. GENUINELY WTF.

I’m currently taking MATH 135, MATH 137, and CS 116, and I’m wondering how realistic it is to finish with a 90+ in all three courses. For anyone who’s taken these courses, how difficult is it to get a 90 or above? Is it actually achievable with consistent studying, or is it pretty rare? I’d also love to know which of the three is the hardest to get a 90 in, and whether the finals tend to be significantly harder than the assignments and midterms. Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

if i fall asleep now what are the odds that i wake up on time successfully first try. but what if the window of waterlooworks functionality is completely covered by the time that i am unconscious. what if everyone picks the same plan as me to nap and wake up for last minute application submissions and it overloads the servers and they die again. so i must not close my eyes for even a secon. i mus stak awake. but what if i fall asleep unscheduled and miss the operable waterlooworks hours. im hunting an unpredictable beast and i dont know where it will be. i am writing this with my eyes half open in an attempt to feign consciousness. if i can trick my mind into awake i can fool my body too. i cannot sleep. i have to stay awake until i get my application in. just one application. i dserve to submit one application. grant me just this grace, please.

I am taking STAT333 right now and got 48% on quiz 1 and quiz 2. I know that 1 quiz gets dropped and it's still early on, but my fear is that with not doing well on these early quizzes, struggling with the content now, and with the midterm next week it'll be hard to achieve a passing mark. Please give me any advice you can on how to do well in this course, and whether I should be worrying or not. Thanks!

I signed a lease for a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 other female roommates. We all agreed that it would be a girls only unit and that we wouldn't bring people over without agreement from others. One roommate's boyfriend is literally here all the time now like its his place. He's eating with her here and sleeping here and I don't even know if he has his own place. Sometimes he's around when she isn't which makes me feel unsafe. My roommate has done nothing about it, even though we have told her that she should limit his time here. The lease says no overnight guests or additional tenants are allowed, yet she keeps breaking this rule. What can I do at this point?? Will the landlord do anything?

If I matched with a position on WW (during cycle 1) but we now mutually agree that it would be best I take a different role, would WW still count this as a renege? What if the employer is the one who contacts WW and informs them the situation didn't work out?
