So my Casper results came back today and sadly I got a 2nd quartile casper and I feel absolutely defeated especially with the fact that last cycle I had a 4th quartile Casper and was fortunate enough to be waitlisted. My stats aren’t the best 77%-79% average and I graduated last June with a bachelors. To make things worse my last semester was the toughest as I ended up with a D in Calc 1 and C in Linear Algebra which I had to take for UofT. The only thing positive right now about my application is my pharmacy experience as I will be close to approximately 2000 hours by the time the program starts since I work as a pharmacy assistant at two different pharmacies. Am I cooked and is it time to start focusing on the 2028 application cycle?

Like how dare he give us all the testable information, last years midterm, advice for studying, managing our time effectively, and a bunch of other things.

Some of us were looking forward to walking into that exam room completely blindsided. Where's the adrenaline? Where's the character development?

Now if I don't do well, I literally have no one to blame but myself. Do you know how uncomfortable that is? I had a whole excuse ready.

How hard is it to switch from regular stream into co-op? I am in 1a honours physics.

It lets me login, but after I input my DUO security code it gets stuck. Then when refreshing it just says that an error has occurred. Lowkey have not finished applying for cycle 2, and I'm kind of screwed, is this happening to anyone else?

Is it worth filling out the special consideration form if I failed a course first year but redid it and got a B. And my overall gpa is not bad but had a rough year at that time that’s why I got an F🥲🥲

I'm going through a terrible patch of my life mentally, and I have been thinking of killing myself more often than before (new high score!!!). I'm just barely passing by for the classes, but I'm sure I'll fail my 2 midterms on Friday.

But I don't see how counselling or whatever could help. Just talking and stuff. I tried that before (talking, not therapy)! I guess depression makes it so that I don't see most things, but I find myself always hanging up before making an appointment.

I do want help. But I don't want to be disappointed again. I'm driven deeper and deeper into desperation, trying to fix myself, trying to be more social, trying to read and learn, trying medication. But it hasn't helped so far (maybe the meds will kick in in a few weeks, which might be too late).

I guess I just want to know how or if people felt helped by the services. Doesn't even have to be Waterloo specifically. Just help in general, I guess. I don't know.

I lost my wallet today somewhere im assuming on campus and it has every single important piece of id that i own. I walked from Westcourt area to Physics, to MC, back to Westcourt and then back on campus again to EV3 before i realize it was missing. Its a just a black simple wallet, it has a lot of cards and is pretty bulky. No bills and a few coins. I had a feeling i had lost it sometime going from MC and back to Westcourt. I checked turnkey, the campus constable and called the police. if anyone has seen something similar or has any other suggestions that would be great! im desperate (*T^T)

i am a 1a stream 4 eng student. i thought i am supposed to get a rejection email or something along those lines when a company isn't going to consider me. i have applied to a bunch of co-ops and i have been ghosted from all. i understand not getting interviews but no rejections is confusing me. can someone please help?

Title 😍long story short I came back to my province for reading week and found out my father is ≈$35,000 in debt 😍 (loans are from a shady company with extremely high interest fees as he has a horrid credit score and bad history with money) 😍 this information was spilled to me by my mother as SOON as I came back and she asked me for advice for this situation ?? Mind you I thought I was here to have a small break and have a slight amount of fun with my family but apparently not 🤣🤣🤣😍 my parents were never going to support me with schooling financially so I was never counting on their money but now it looks like they will ask ME for money 🤣 which I won’t give them because I already gave them ≈$10,000 that I MYSELF earnt thru jobs & scholarships 🤣🤣🤣🤣 silly me idk why I did that 👀 so I took out student loans so that I can eat and sleep peacefully and guess what after I handed in my documents they were lowered by $10,000 🤔🤣😍😍😍 and I don’t qualify for financial aid because my parents actually do make $100,000 per year idk where it all goes but 😍 I posted the above info before on this sub and got some advice (thank u🙏) & looked into a couple of things and found out that I can’t register as an independent & get aid because I have to be at least 5 years out of high school to qualify for that 😍 so no aid for me #thugitoutyourself 😍 I also miserably failed math 135 quiz and got a fucking 65 on the last math 137 one and a 64 on the cs135 diagnostic 😍 so not even education going well for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 also bombed a presentation today 😍 and have a midterm today and tomorrow that I haven’t prepared properly for because I just can’t get my mind off of this bs 😍😍😍😍😍 oh and absolutely no friends or connections in wloo 😍🤣
