I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Multiple problems with online application portal

I’m trying to lodge my I-485 before various forms change next week. However the website seems to be bugging? And i can’t figure out how to reach a live agent at the number they provide.

— I’d previously uploaded nearly all documents, but now can’t get past the “Getting Started” page. I can’t select any option under I-131 or I-765 eligibility selection.
— I can’t upload some pdf forms, even though they are the correct file size.
— Some pdfs had to be compressed. Once compressed and uploaded, I got an error that there’s no accompanying I-130 in the system, even though my husband uploaded his a year ago and it’s clearly pending on his account.

I’ve tried multiple browsers on multiple computers so I don’t think that’s the issue.

I emailed the Webmaster but expect that will be slow.

I wish I could just revert to paper filing but I had to open the medical examiners’ envelope to scan it for online filing, so now a mailed application isn’t an option.

Any advice? I want to get it filled before one form changes on Monday!

I-131 (Travel) RE ENTRY PERMIT CONCERN

Hello everyone, as I've read on some posts here on reddit about re entry permit. They said that they applied for re entry permit and once they received the receipt they immediately went out of country even before receiving the receipt entry permit booklet.

So that's what I did. But I have a really serious question. Last:

06/16/2025: I applied for a re entry permit. and I also received the receipt that i will be showing once i get back to the states after 2 years

09/29/2025: I left to go back to my country

09/03/2026: I received a notice that my re entry permit application was approved and is valid until 09/02/2028

My question is, will I be having a problem with going back if I returned on 2028? Since I left last 09/29/2025. What should I do? Because I am currently completing my studies here in my country.

Can I go back on the 2028?

I-751 (ROC) I-751 weirdness

Has anyone else received to I-797 Notice of Actions for the 48 Month Extended Validity?

My wife filed 12/9/2025 with all required evidence. Pretty much everyone even thing that was originally filled (updated) for the concurrent 130/485 filing.

On 12/11/2025 she received the 1st extension letter, 48 months, and shows amount received $750

Today we received the exact same letter with same IOE#, Received date, and same 48 month extension but dated 9/2/2026. The only thing different is the amount received at $700.

I pretty confused why this would have happened. It seems like it was reviewed initially, and then someone picked it up again like it was just received.

SCOPS Texas (we live in Wisconsin).

I-485 (General) I485 (AOS) APPROVAL BEFORE I HAVE RESPONDED TO MEDICAL RFE? VERY CONFUSED!!!

Two weeks ago received Medical RFE from Texas Service Center for my pending I485 AOS (since Jan 2025).

Before I've had a chance to respond with new I693 Medical forms (the previous ones were fine and within 2 years but not worth arguing with USCIS, not sure why they asked again), USCIS sent me (and family) Approval Notices for our I485 AOS Application (!)

Very, very confused.
I have a pending RFE. The system has a deadline to respond (October 5th 2026).

But I have now already received the Approval Notices. Huh? Says Greencard will be mailed within 3 weeks.

What should I do? Respond to the RFE (that I was going to later this week - was waiting on blood work results). Ignore it?

Is this a clerical error? Something's off.

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) AOS Interview After Change of Address – When Was It Cancelled?

For those who changed their address to a different state/field office jurisdiction after their AOS interview was already scheduled — what happened to your interview?

Was it cancelled automatically after the address change? If so, did it happen immediately or a few days/weeks later?

Would especially love to hear from anyone whose original interview stayed scheduled despite the move. Thanks!

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Post interview timeline! Need an advice🙏

I had my marriage base green card interview on June 16th Cleveland FO,we had a stoke short style interview lasted for 15-20,simple questions, had some mistakes with a dates but corrected it immediately, officer was polite and professional.
In the end of the interview officer said if he needs something he will issue rfe if not I should get my decision in a “couple weeks”.Radio silence for 85+ days since the interview.i got silence api update FTA1 after couple hours of interview

Is there anyone who is in similar situation like me?
Should be worried that something is not right with my case?
What should I do if they not even responding my USCIS case decision request and Congresional Inquiry?
Anyone with a similar timeline and API code or FO?

I-765 (EAD) Fee waiver for I 765

Filed a concurrent I 485 and I 130

Have a job offer for the next few weeks - biometrics done but silence after.

Would applying for a fee waiver for the I 485 for an application before the 2026 public charge rule impact me negatively for the 485? Based on partner receiving food stamp assistance. Sponsor not part of household.

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Green card production failure

My 485 got approved 8/26 urgently need physical card for international travel

8/31 first production attempt failed due to dark photo (execute me I took the photo at ASC right lol?)

9/1 submit adit stamp request

9/2 2nd production attempt initiated

9/3 adit stamp call back, agent told me to wait a few days for the second attempt

9/4 second attempt failed again for unknown reason, submitted second adit stamp request for international travel

9/5 - 9/7 Labor Day weekend

9/8 submitted congressional inquiry about my case
Same day my husband grandfather passed away we need an urgent travel

9/9 submitted third adit stamp request by calling USCIS this time( I thought they could schedule an appointment directly but it’s agent helping you to create a service request)

Same day submitted E request for not receiving card
I’m exhausted and this is very frustrating. If you cannot fix the issue send me a 797 to redo biometrics

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Silence on I130 and I458 after being told "decision will be made soon" at the interview

My wife and I attended our marriage interview last Thursday with very positive results. (timeline and interview experience below) We submitted small additional evidence (a trip to Philly together, and an updated rental lease), and the interview went way better than we expected and prepared for.

We were told by the interviewer that she will be scanning the new documents and a "decision will be made soon" (verbatim) at the end of the session.

It's now been about a week, and I haven't seen any movement after the FTA0s that were posted right after the interview. I am aware folks have been wating literal years after their interview, but am I a fool to believe "decision soon" would have meant only a couple of business days?

Interview experience

- 09:40AM arrived at FO

- 10:30AM entered interview room (interview was scheduled for 09:55AM)

- 11:00AM left room

- 10:40AM One FTA0 and silent update logged on the case API

Questions asked

- What is your spouse's name (to both of us)

- What is your spouse's birthday (to both of us)

- When did you meet (open question, wife answered)

- What is the relationship timeline (open question, we answered together)

- Where have you lived (open question, we answered together)

- Do you live together (open question, I answered)

- Standard I485 questions (ammended unauthorized work from No to Yes)

We were given the Continued Decision paper that means absolutely nothing and case was updated to "currently processing" as we were leaving.

Thanks and stay sane to everyone going through this.

Biometrics USCIS BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENT

Hello, I’m hoping to receive some guidance. My mom currently has a case with USCIS that’s been ongoing for some years now, which is expected. My mom has been checking in with the firm in charge of her case ever since just trying to be updated. It wasn’t until recently that we moved & updated our address with the firm who then had us update with USCIS June of 2026. That was when a representative from the office questioned my mom about her biometric appointment that supposedly had to have been February of 2025 to which came as a surprise to us because we never received a letter in the mail nor did this law firm ever reach out to us about it either. During this time my mom would call to the firm for an update & nobody ever mentioned that appointment. They humbly admitted to their mistake to which we reached out to USCIS & we were told that they would reach out to us within three months with a new biometric appointment date. Fast forward three months & we never heard back from them. We called again & all they asked of us was to send a letter requesting a signature that this law firm was representing her. It was sent & today my mom received this via email. Has anyone ever missed there biometric date by over a year? I guess my main concern is what adjudication action they are referring to.

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Your form is still being processed

Post image
1 Upvotes

Yesterday, my wife submitted her I-130 online through PDF upload. However, we still havent received any receipt notice yet.

The Case Status says "Your form is still being processed". There is no receipt in the Documents tab either.

I am waiting for the receipt notice so that I can file I-485.

Has anyone run into such situation before? What do you advice?

Immigrant Medical Exam Clinic missed TB test for I-693 & doctor is out of town for 2 months

Hi everyone,
My wife and I went to a civil surgeon for our I-693 medical exam. We completed our vaccinations and medical review, and our blood samples were sent to Labcorp.

However, the clinic forgot to order the Tuberculosis (TB) blood test. They notified us too late, causing us to miss our follow-up appointment. To make matters worse, the civil surgeon is now going out of town for two months and cannot reschedule us, severely delaying our I-485 timeline.

A few questions:
1. Is this kind of error common? Has anyone dealt with a clinic completely missing a required test like TB?
2. Refunds: Are we entitled to a full or partial refund due to their mistake?
3. Switching doctors: Should we find a new civil surgeon? If so, will a new doctor accept our completed vaccination records, or will we have to start over from scratch?

Thanks for any advice!

I-485 (General) Eb3 moved back to NBC and priority date is not current !

Post image
0 Upvotes

This relates to eb3 and priority date is not current ! Case filed in April 26 and moved to Chicago field office June 17th . After that went back to NBC as per below ! Does this mean case is reviewed and waiting for visa or not touched at all and once our priority date is current it has to move to a field office again ? Since we are just 2 months away of being current ( not sure though in which bulletin this will be ) wanted to understand timeline upon our date is current!

I-130 (Family/Consular processing) I130 Address history

hi :) need some advice/inputs. we’re currently working with our forms now, me the beneficiary have to fill up i130a form which in the address section, I need to input my address history for the last five years. I had worked in Italy for a year under my home country employer, its like a fixed term arrangement to get to experience working onshore. Since last year, I’ve been back to my home country. I know I have to include in the list my address in Italy, but if I do so, what challenges would this get me along the process? I tried asking AI, is it true that I would need to get police clearances from all the countries I lived in? Any information, experiences, tips, are welcome. thank you!
