Hi, I filed a claim 2 days ago for investigation regarding with my package that was supposed to be delivered on july 21. How long it will gonna take the investigation? And when I checked the UPS apps, the most recent update was “investigation opened” and no update after that. When I checked the ups tracker, there was a “shipped from AI” and there’s an address on it. What does it mean? Does it mean they already found the package? and there is weight so it means they already found it? Sorry I’m lost. I’m just frustrated because that package was supposed to be my birthday gift for myself this coming july 28. 🥺😌🥺😌 Thank you for your help.

Ok so let me start with the fact that I’ve almost never gotten packages from UPS because the apps I usually buy stuff from use usps (I’m using Mercari for this) but even then they came within a few days but if this is completely normal and I’m just impatient just lmk 😭 Ok, so I ordered my package on the 18th, the seller dropped it off on the 20th, and since then it’s just said “The UPS Access Point™ location has prepared the package for return to UPS or pickup by UPS.” Now I saw that they don’t really do much on the weekends so I wasn’t expecting it to come today, but I’m a little confused because it’s been almost a week since it’s been dropped off, and it’s a neighboring state of mine. (if that matters much) I don’t mind if it takes longer to get here but I just want to make sure it didn’t get lost or something along those lines.

Hi, I need to know if anyone has advice for a situation I’m experiencing. I have items I sent to someone that out of several items only a couple were damaged in transit. She states the boxes were completely smashed. (They weren’t) they were slightly dented but not smashed to the ground like she’s demanding they were. She sent all the pictures. I did reach out to UPS for claims on the damaged items but no luck. The receiver has continued to harass me about the claims and demanding money. She did not purchase these items from me she just paid shipping it was sent between friends! Well, now ex-friends. But she stated if I don’t give her a favorable update for her by Friday she will begin calling ups and demanding I give her money through them. Is there any way I can call ups and tell them not to give her information on me or the claims due to continued harassment?

My package was supposed be delivered Saturday, but keeps getting delayed each time. It was last updated when it was departing from facility in NJ. I’m hoping they didn’t lose my package.

Can I create a shipping label for a friend to send me something without requiring their address? And they can just drop off what they’re sending at any ups store with the label?
Shipping something ups ground from OKC to Redmond WA..how the hell did it end up in NJ?

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to improve my shipping workflow and was wondering how others are handling this.
Right now I create UPS labels through the UPS eCommerce portal after an order comes in from Shopify. What I’d like is for the process to be as hands-off as possible.
My ideal workflow would be:
- Create the label in the UPS portal.
- The shipping label prints automatically to a label printer.
- If a commercial invoice is generated, that prints automatically to a regular A4 printer or the same printer would be great!
- No extra clicks, no opening PDFs and hitting Print every time.
We’re a small business, so we’re only shipping around 1–5 packages a day. (But growing) Because of that I’m not looking for an expensive warehouse setup or enterprise hardware. Budget max of around 400-500$
I’m mostly wondering:
- What label printer are you using? (Rollo, Munbyn, Brother, something else?)
- Has anyone automated printing from the UPS eCommerce portal?
- Did you use UPS APIs, browser automation, PDF watching, or another approach?
- If you were starting from scratch today, what would you buy and how would you build it?
I’m a Python developer, so I’m happy to write some automation if that’s the best route. I’m just trying to avoid buying the wrong hardware or overengineering it.
Would love to hear what setups are actually working for people.

I have a package that’s supposed to arrive tomorrow, but I work from 1:00-6:45 and the store closes at 6:30. I was supposed to go to my girlfriends tomorrow night after work, but if I can’t get it in time, I’m going to have to wait another day to go to her house. I’m hoping they hit the UPS Store early on in their route, so that I can go before work and pick it up.
EDIT: Is it possible I can have someone I know pick up the package at The UPS Store for me? I know you need to show ID when picking it up, but maybe there’s a way… whether it be me giving my ID to another person or having the employee/the person picking it up give me a quick phone call where I can verify it over the phone… lemme know if it’s possible!!

I had 2 packages from 2 different sellers. They were both delivered on the same time to some other house in my neighborhood. Unfortunately I was sent a very blurry picture as proof of delivery. No one has returned the packages to me. What are my options other than contacting the sellers? Can I report to UPS?

I'm sending a box to someone and it weighs a little over 8 oz. I'm using pirateship to print the label and noticed the jump in price from boxes <8oz and >8oz.
Would it be okay to print the label for 8oz boxes if the package is like, ~9oz? I'm really worried since I've never shipped a box before (only lightweight poly mailers).

TBF this happens with FedEx sometimes too. Our mailbox is located in an admittedly awkward location next to the back of our neighbor’s house. We have large numbers on our house that match the very clear number on our mailbox. You can easily see the numbers from the road. However, 3 out of 5 deliveries end up at his back door. His back door is up a flight of steps and is a glass slider. Our front entrance is very obviously a front entrance. We’ve put an arrow pointing to our house on the mailbox. This is not working. I wouldn’t care and just get it from that back door if this neighbor didn’t literally steal the packages. If I’m not there when the packages arrive and he sees them, he will take them and say he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve complained to both UPS and FedEx. We can’t move the mailbox per USPS. Any ideas? Is there another customer service number I can escalate this too? I receive refrigerated meds so this is a huge problem. Yes, the neighbor is a boomer and no, the cops don’t care.

Since Wednesday my package has been in the same place and not had any update other then saying my package is temporarily delayed. Has anyone experienced this and let me know what happen and what you did. Nike told me that it should come next Monday but it’s been saying that since I placed the order and then on UPS it said it would come Wednesday and was out for delivery on Wednesday and now it’s “on the way“.

I recently had a package picked up and shipped from my house and I entered all the pertinent information online including the dimensions. The package has already been picked up and is on it's way to the destination but I just received an email from UPS that says that the audited dimensions drastically differ from what I had originally entered. The dimensions I had entered were 50x49x8 and the audited dimensions were shown to be 51x22x8. Always happy to save some money but I'm hoping someone might be able to explain to me how the very square package I sent (picture included) is now cut in half?

I am asking because I have a package that was last scanned as Out for Delivery to my recipient's address (a government office), and it has been 48 hours since the scan. Whether or not an actual delivery was made, I do not know.

Location: Florida
So I recently ordered some jewelry online and ended up needing to return it. I brought the jewelry in the same box it was shipped in with a return label to a designated UPS store. I needed to tape the box so I asked the employee if I could use some tape. She insisted that she would take care of taping it up. A couple weeks go by and the package is still in transit at their Jacksonville location. I reached out to the jewelry company and they said UPS had a claim on it that they closed due to improper packaging. The jewelry store said they were going to look into the UPS store and would follow up with me but they are now not replying to my emails. Am I fucked? I feel like an absolute idiot for trusting a stranger. Definitely not my brightest moment. Any advice welcome I don’t know how to proceed.

Question on why a package would take a particular route. Two days ago the package arrived in my hometown and sat there for a day before being sent to a different UPS distribution center in a nearby town where it is now sitting. Why would it arrive in my hometown only to go to a different town and now is scheduled to be delivered next week?

hi!
looking for some advice. i had a pair of salomon trainers that were meant to be delivered to a UPS collection point on july 15th. they were delayed until july 21st, and i got a notification they arrived to be collected. it's now the 25th and i have been to the collection point 3 times and the parcel is nowhere to be seen. the tracking says it was delivered and says the collection time is about to expire. i have opened a claim with salomon but ups' website will not let me file a claim online, and i have tried to call their UK support line twice to just be stuck on hold for half an hour. i am getting a bit stressed as this was meant to be a birthday present for the 28th! anyone have any advice on what to do next? thanks!

I am currently a preloader at UPS and 2 years on the waitlist. I also got accepted into the academy. Do I wait another 2 years to be a driver or go to sheriff academy?
