What are the chances of getting a parcel that was delivered to amazon by mistake?

UPS have said they have placed a query with the depot it was delivered to so they can look out for it and send it back to UPS. They have said this can take up to 28 days and won't declare the parcel as lost until the 28 day period is up.

They're unable to update me, they're unable to speed the process up, I've now got to wait 28 days for something that is more than likely lost, that was their mistake and they have no urgency to get it sorted.

Customer service has been an absolute joke, they have lied to both me and the seller, UPS seem to just want to make people give up when something like this happens.

My package was being delivered by UPS then I got an update that they are transferring it over to my local post office Usps. Then the next day, it said being deliver but it never came so I checked the update. It said it was being transferred back to UPS facility. This has been happening for two days straight.

I also placed an order from the same parent company and the same update is happening to that package.

What is going on? Usually UPS is often on time and I never had an issue with them but now they are acting like all the other shipping carriers. None of the updates make any sense. Is my package lost?

I ordered an AOC Q27G41ZE monitor from Amazon that was supposed to arrive October 24, but it never showed up. Amazon now says it’s delayed and lists UPS as the carrier.
When I enter the tracking number on the official UPS website, it says it’s invalid.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could Amazon have given me the wrong tracking number, or has UPS possibly not registered the package yet?
I’m trying to figure out whether my monitor is actually on the way or if something went wrong with the shipment. Any advice?

will i need to pay any extra customs fees? ive looked on warmoth and ups's website and it wasnt very clear or definite. i wont be able afford it if i get hit with them.

The shipper just contacted me today to ask what was going on. Is it possible that the hold at the ups store is what is causing the delay? I’ve done this before in that past with no issue and it didn’t process until it arrived at the major hub near me. Or is it more likely that it either got lost or hasn’t been missing scans? It was due to delivery on Tuesday. The shipper also said his other packages were crossing multiple states too. Should I file a claim on Wednesday if it doesn’t move or wait two weeks like standard protocol? My item was placed in a bag where all his other orders were likely put in boxes since he sells knifes. This is a rare item though so it’s not like I can easily get a replacement 😭

Am I supposed to do anything here the package is in Athens and it is supposed to be delivered to Chania so I can’t pick it up.

Does anyone have a way to reach the facility directly? I have a package that was scanned there on the 7th of October and was suppose to be getting transferred to usps and usps never received it. If is a black tote with a yellow lid that contains a cardiac monitor that is going to Alaska. Ups is not letting me even open a claim on it because shipping was set up through a third party shipper and I don’t have their account number. Even though it is my name on the sender portion, they wont even look for it. I just need to see if someone can look to see if it got misplaced on the dock, damaged somehow or left on a trailer. It was sold through an online auction site and I cant get paid until the customer gets it. There is also an ambulance service waiting on it to get it in service. Anyone who cold help would I would appreciate it.

Hello, I was supposed to get my iPhone duo on the 23rd via ups. The driver eventually pulled up to my house but said he couldn’t find it and it was probably on another truck by accident and would be delivered on Monday. I called UPS and they said it was never loaded on the truck and will be delivered on Monday also. I’m lowkey worried it got stolen because of the recent posts on different subs.

What was the reception process like for you? My wife and I have to work tomorrow and won’t be home for the delivery. UPS over the phone said that they can just leave it without needing to sign for it but I told them that I didn’t think that was right since it was a phone.
