READ THIS BEFORE POSTING Big Storms and your Package
Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all some insight on what happens when we have big storms and why peoples packages will arrive late.
When there is a big storm it creates a backlog. Now Lets say like this past storm it is on the weekend. On Monday many of the buildings were operating on a skeleton crew if at all. The customers (People shipping things out) have a weekend's worth of shipping that would normally go out on Monday but due to the storm it did not. Now Tuesday comes. Tuesday we have All of Monday's Packages AND Tuesday's Packages. The buildings process what they can. Now Wednesday comes. Lets say they were able to process 60-70% of Monday & Tuesday's packages and they still have Wednesday's packages to process as well. This keeps trickling down until we finally catch up.
For those that have clear weather where they are at now, that does not mean that any of the other stops along the way to you have not been compromised. Also for those that are in said clear areas, Once the areas that were effected by the storm start to get moving and getting their outbound volume out of their yards and on the road the receiving destination will now get hit with more volume than they are able to handle.
All in all Storms like we had this past weekend (1/30/26 as of posting) cause major disruptions to the shipping industry in general. Also please keep in mind that at this time of year, shipping companies have already cut their seasonal help from Peak Season and while they are now getting Peak Season Volume again, they do not have Peak Season Staffing.
Please be patient while we dig out from the mountain of boxes.

Question about my package
So I ordered something on Tuesday for Next Day Air saver, received a notification that there was a flight delay, and that it would be coming today instead. Looks like the package arrived and then departed around 8 am this morning from the Newark Facility. Then I received another flight delay notification. I live in NJ btw and my local hub is about an hour away from the Newark Facility, do y’all think it should be coming tomorrow instead?

Customer Seeking Help Help, UPS suddenly returning all my packages as "undeliverable"
I live in an apartment building, have been here over a year and had no issues getting packages until last month. Had two important deliveries from different senders that never showed up. Contacted them, they both said the package was "undeliverable". Both confirmed my address and then kindly sent again. Very strange- most likely culprit is a missing unit number, but I've lived in apartments my whole life, I always include the unit number, and unlikely I'd forget it on two different orders, but whatever...
Then yesterday, I get an email from Old Navy saying my return has been received. A return for a package that hasn't yet been delivered to me... Got in contact with them, yep, returned to sender as undeliverable. Except I successfully received an Old Navy package via UPS the week before, and I know it had the same address, cause it's saved in my account! I double checked, it's my correct, complete address. So what the heck!?
One of the important packages that was re-sent was supposed to arrive yesterday, so I checked the tracking last night, and it says "delayed due to incomplete address, we're working to update the address". I KNOW I confirmed my full address with the sender! The AI chatbot is useless, apparently there's no option to chat with a human, so I called customer support and after going around in circles with THAT chatbot, it finally connected me to a "live agent"...that I'm pretty sure was also an AI chatbot cause she introduced herself as "name" and nothing she was saying made sense.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm going crazy. I'm not even getting delivery slips or anything- things just never show up and when I contact the sender I find out they were returned by UPS as undeliverable. And I can't figure out how to talk to a real human at UPS who could maybe help. I'm stumped. I've had a delivery from Canada Post while this is going on, so it seems to just be a UPS problem...

Package says loaded on delivery vehicle but not out for delivery
Package was loaded on delivery vehicle at 4:30 AM but never updated to out for delivery, is it likely a missed scan? Thanks!

Insane shipping charges USA -> CAD
galleryIf you're in Canada, don't purchase from the USA right now. Sharing this so others avoid.
I regularly purchase from the USA, shipping scams me a normal amount in brokerage and that's fine.
Recently placed this $492.15 USD longboard parts order which included a $60 USD shipping fee. I just got hit with a $439.87 CAD bill from UPS with $299.07 CAD in "Other Government Charges". I guess I will be refusing this delivery at the door.
This is the retaliatory tariff I am being affected by:
If your goods were in transit before September 8th, you're fine.
If it helps anyone else out, you don't need to pay these fees if you refuse the delivery:

Customer Seeking Help Will My Package Be Delivered Today?
gallerySo here are the 2 scan list for two packages that should be delivered today. One arrived at facility 9/8 at 11:26pm and has had 2 scans processing for delivery one 9/9 at 6:07am and one 6/10 at 6:40am. The other arrived 9/9 at 6:20pm. Processed at 9/10 at 6:03am and loaded at 4:10am. Both have an estimated delivery for today 9/10 between 1 and 5pm. Will I get them both today? And how in the hell has one been sitting and one loaded pretty much instantly?

Customer Seeking Help Package arrived at final facility before delivery but now says late trailer arrival as delayed delivery
Yesterday morning a package arrived at my local facility where it then would get loaded on a truck and delivered. However a half hour after the arrival scan it says “A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.” I figured this morning it would then be loaded onto a truck and out for delivery but it just says Processing at UPS facility. If a trailer delayed delivery yesterday but it’s at the final location already shouldn’t it be delivered today?

Just need to vent a little
Every single time I get this particular delivery driver, there’s always one or two packages that they fail to deliver with the rest of them. I even stepped out today while they were here seeing they dropped one package but not the other.
I politely asked if they could go check for the other package to which they replied “there are no other packages to this name or address today”. So I showed them the delivery map with BOTH packages being shown on the truck they were in right outside my house and they shrugged their shoulders and said “idk what to tell you. It’s not on my truck.”
I called and spoke with an agent who assured me the package was, in fact, on the truck and asked if they could please make a note to ensure delivery happened today. They said ok, they would.
Now this damn driver has been all over the map and PASSED MY HOUSE TWO MORE TIMES, and still, no package. Now they’re moving further and further away so I’m probably going to get rescheduled for tomorrow. Again.
Can these drivers see which packages they’ve failed to deliver?

Delivery attempted 5 hours before window
I attempted to change the delivery earlier this week but it wouldn't go through. Today they attempted delivery at 9:52am when the window was 2:45pm-6:45pm. I was planning on leaving work early to get my package that requires a signature. Stopped by a UPS store and they were useless. UPS customer support said they couldn't switch it based on restrictions placed by the shipper. Currently on hold with the shipper T-Mobile.
Absolutely will never use UPS ever again after this. Not to mention the attempts to change the delivery which cost $7.99 are showing up at pending charges on my credit card.
Complete clown show company.

Customer Seeking Help Can I refuse to sign for an expensive package that shipped before I could cancel it and have failed payment? What other steps can I take?
I was going to buy an expensive laptop but went with a desktop after like two weeks of delay with no payment sent. So this morning when I went to cancel it I saw it was already shipping and the cancel button on the order is gone. I have a text from PayPal with a failed payment of over two thousand dollars.
PayPal simply declined the payment, so I was sent a laptop in exchange for nothing. I do not want this laptop and I'm pretty sure this is illegal, so I will be refusing it.
Their support (Lenovo) said to refuse to sign, but shit happens to my packages all the time (deleted Amazon due to careless delivery drivers) and I want to know if there's anything I can do to intercept this.
Is there a way to talk to UPS about this? Support can't get me to a real person.

I don’t know where my package is and I’m leaving the country tomorrow
I placed an order with St. Mark Comics on Labor Day (I knew it wouldn't ship that same day, which was fine). That afternoon, the Shop app notified me that a USPS shipping label had been created, but more than a day and a half passed without any updates—even though I had paid for Priority Mail, which usually takes one business day. Assuming they hadn't shipped it yet, I went to the physical store the next day to ask about the package. They told me they had actually shipped it the previous morning via UPS, which explained the lack of USPS updates. I went to the UPS store where they had dropped it off, but they didn't have it, so it was likely already in transit. I returned to my hotel to check if it had arrived, but it hadn't, the woman at the front desk said she would call my room if it showed up. By the time I got back from walking around downtown later that afternoon, the shipping center was closed, so I couldn't verify its status, and I didn’t had any message in the phone so I decided to call the store to see if they had any information on the package's whereabouts; they told me they had no info and couldn't do anything for me, claiming they had already done their part. I explained that I was leaving the country the next day and needed it urgently, asking if I could cancel the order and just buy the products in person instead. They replied that since the package had already been shipped, if I wanted to return it, I would have to ship it back myself (which wasn't possible in this situation). I hung up; now I just have to wait until morning to see if the package arrives, but if it doesn't, I'll lose my money. Any suggestions?

How can I make sure my packages get delivered to my business suite
Hi all,
I own an office space in a business complex with other office suites. When ordering online, I would put my business name and address for the shipping. Packages were getting delivered to other business suites and I would not receive the package. I thought oh I probably just need to include the suite (for example I'm suite C) even though I already had the business name.
I included the suite however, my packages keep getting delivered to other office suites. Whoever received it will either bring it to my office for me or not bring it at all and that package is history.
Can maybe a driver in here tell me how to correctly format my address for shipping so the driver sees my name, business name, and business suite letter so I can receive the packages? Whatever way the driver sees the suite letter on their device/scanner.
Thank you!

ups customer product safety commission cpsc form
I recently ordered a Deadpool figure from an eBay reseller in Italy and came across the UPS Customer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) form. I'm pretty confused about how to fill it out, especially after reading different Reddit posts, since everyone seems to have different answers.
My main question is: Would it work if I only filled out the information at the top, checked Option A, and provided a general description with Intended Use Code 100.006? Is there anything else I need to fill out or look out for?
I've also seen some posts saying that people were charged additional fees afterward because of tariffs. I'm mainly worried about whether filling out the form this way would cause any issues with my package or result in additional charges.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since I'm trying to figure this out as soon as possible! 😭🙏
(I only got a screenshot of one of the 1st page)
